My purse went flying and the smell of burning rubber permeated the air. But we were going to have donuts, and nothing was going to stop us. The shop is dated...or full of character....whichever perspective you choose. It's not the neatest or most trendy spot in town, but the donuts are good! The also have a variety of boba teas, in case you need to layer your sugar-no judgment here. You can take your order to go, or there are tables both inside and outside for you to stay and enjoy. Very good donuts! I ordered four donuts; a sugar, Boston cream, maple bar, and jelly filled. All were fantastic and tasted very good, no bad taste or anything! (I got a water too, but what is there to review on that? ) The service was nice, seemed a little busy, but not too busy to where the point I had to wait. The one thing I appreciate across all Bosa locations is the consistency on the taste of their donuts. Whether it's the regular glazed, Boston cream (my fave) or blueberry filled.... they hit the cravings "spot" every single time. This is definitely one of their more tenured locations. I have been going to this location for 15 years and I have become progressively disappointed in the service from this location specifically. The employees are always rude and I can never tell if they hate me or their job more. The drive thru sign is run down and the microphone system is always broken and has been for a long time. The food itself has normally been consistently great. Croissant breakfast sandwiches are delicious as well as the donuts. However, I recently ordered a chocolate milk for my child, and was given a regular milk. When I checked it at home, it was expired. That was the final straw for me. I am not the biggest fan of donuts, personally, but do appreciate them! I know Bosa has a huge following and I was in a pinch and needed some Donut Holes for a party, they definitely delivered! This location is near downtown Mesa and does offer a drive thru. I went in to check out the menu. The space is a bit older, but does offer seating if you want to dine in. The service and staff are SUPER friendly as well, making you feel very welcomed and happy to chat. I wish they had a more clear cut menu, as it does not list their donut options and prices by the dozen or anything other than a single, but they are happy to answer any questions. It's also a bit chaotic and listed throughout the back wall and counter. They had ample options from classic donuts, to specialty and festive Halloween options! I ordered six dozen mixed with chocolate and classic glazed, it was about ten bucks and honestly a solid price for the quantity. I also snagged a few breaky sandwiches, sausage, egg, cheese on a croissant. It was not life changing by any means, but for six bucks, hot and fresh it definitely hit the spot! The staff is always friendly, but the place is always a mess. Boxes and overstock everywhere, the trash is usually overflowing and there always seems to be flys and bees inside the shop as well. We recently went to our neighborhood Bosa and picked up some donuts. The lady was super nice and threw in some extra donuts for us! If you get the valpak mailer, there is a Bosa Donut coupon in there that allows you to buy a dozen donuts and get 6 donuts free. They also have other deals available. Bosa carries tons of other food and drinks on their menu like shaved ice, smoothies, boba, blended drinks, cappuccino, hot cocoa, thai iced tea, fountain drinks, tea, muffins, croissants, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. When I was in college, I used to go to this locally owned donut shop near my dorm, and later on, apartment. They were open all hours of the night, and had a huge selection of pastries n coffee to choose from. This place reminds me of that! The pro's of this place are many. It's locally owned, they have amazing hours, (5AM to 11PM if I am correct?) and are easy to find. I think this place used to be a Taco Bell many moons ago, and sat empty for a long time....until these guys moved in. Cons arent to bad, but I've only been there once, so I cant really think of any. Thier prices are fair, they have a great selection of donuts and coffee, and even offer combos! When I was here, I got the 2 donut and coffee combo and didn't even spend $4! woohoo. Bosa is the only place i will go buy donuts from in Arizona unless someone gives me a taste of someplace better out here(which i doubt). I myself have tried donuts from all the different grocery stores except whole foods/sprouts if they even had any(which i doubt as well). I even used to fry donuts at safeway 2 years ago(not a good idea with how big of a klutz i am and how anal retentive i can be) plus safeway has you do things their way, so if i wanted to be creative it was frowned upon. So i know how tiring it is and annoying and just not fun. So i totally understand why donut places in general are not always 110% pleasant. If you have whiney customers you aren't gonna have the best service. Bosa's donuts are even more amazing when they are fresh they kind of remind me of krispy kreme but huge and not as expensive! I really used to love this place. I feel though ut has gone down in customer service in the past years. To be fair though the only bad experiences I have had is there country Club locatio. I came in tonight for a little snack for my boyfriend and I. Got a couple of donuts (only .99 ) a milkshake and a Thai tea. I have very sensitive teeth, not that it should matter at all. Any who i asked for light ice. I was SHOCKED when the lady told me that it would be a dollar extra for ( LIGHT ICE) . Never in my dining experiences have I ever been told that they would charge extra for asking for Less ice. So ridiculous, and CHEAP. Know for the donuts they were really good for the most part. 1st the apple crumble supper fluffy filled with just the right amount of jelly. 2nd the cake like glazed flower one. Supper moist but not a whole lot of glaze. For the 3rd was a powered chocolate stuffed donut, not a fan, a little two chocolate e I was expecting more of a Nutella type hazelnut chocolate fill. My bf really liked it though. The strawberry smoothie was not what I expected. From there advertisement I was expecting real strawberries, sadly this is not the case definitely some type of powdered mix kind of tasted like Fruity Pebbles. The Thai tea was terrible. Tasked more like water with a splash of Milky tea. They load the cup up to the brain with ice, no wonder they charge extra for light ice. They pre mix the drink which I really am not a fan of I like when the milk and the Cure separate and I can either drink or slowly swirl it in myself. The tea was so faint I could barely even taste it the color of the tea was way off as well. Definitely won't be back at this establishment.
