They pressured us--using intimidating and high-pressure tactics--into canceling our home warranty and immediately purchasing a new air conditioning system from them for $8,600. After the installation, I contacted Choice Home Warranty to dispute their denial of our warranty claim, only to learn no replacement claim had ever been filed, let alone denied. CMG Mechanical Group LIED, they had only submitted a claim for a clogged drain, which was serviced and closed as resolved. As an 84-year-old 100% disabled veteran living on a fixed income, I did not need to replace a working air conditioning unit, especially one covered by an active home warranty. After reviewing my records, someone else once told us that our air conditioner needed "urgent replacement"... that was SIX YEARS ago. Don't fall for these scammers like we did.

That is why I have used Vent Doctor a handful of times, usually to clean my dryer vent. This time I remembered they did air duct cleaning as well. I am glad I remembered because they found numerous issues with mold/mildew all related to my AC company not doing their job during annual maintenances - causing mildew in my air handler and some ductwork.
