Con-artists. I…read morewanted a mat for under my computer chair. Looked at the websites for nearby stores to see who had them in stock so I could go get one in person. Landed on Staples. The mat was listed at $34.99 + shipping, or "free pickup in store if you order online". I didn't intend to order online, only to see if it was in stock, but when I looked at the item description it said "Get $3 off by ordering online, and picking up in store" so that's what I did - $32.99 + tax, no shipping. When I arrived at the store, there was a small line at the service desk and clearly no gigantic mat there waiting. I walked to the back of the store to see where they were kept, and found the exact mat I'd ordered... on the shelf with a price tag of $27.99. Not a sales tag, and not an old tag... As I was standing there, a guy came and grabbed the mat from in front of me and brought it to the counter. When I got to the counter, I asked about the price difference. I was told "that's the online price, for shipping" and I said it was not... shipping was billed separately. He then said it was a different product, which it was not, and he admitted. I'm not gonna lie, I went full "Karen" on these people. After asking for a manager, I eventually had 3 people talking to me, and they admitted ALL of the prices on the website are marked up over the store price! And that "pick up in store discount" is actually a markup over the regular in-store price on every single item. They guy behind me in line was older, wearing ACUs and had his daughter with him... I had offered to let him go ahead of me, since clearly this wasn't getting solved quickly, and he covered his daughters ears with his hands and said "F*ck these people, they're trying to f*ck you - I don't wanna spend my money here" and just left. The net result was a non-apology apology, and an offer to refund my card for the $32+tax and sell me the mat for the store price of $28+tax. I countered with wanting my $3 off, as promised... $25+ tax... because they'd admitted to running a scam, and it was the principle of the thing. Did I mention going "Full Karen"? They declined. I'm not often in a "Karen" kind of mood - I'm happy to eat a little crow, cut my losses, and walk away knowing that I'll never do business with a place again... but the level of con job that Staples corporate office has going is STAGGERING. They're pulling a literal "Bait and Switch" scam. So I reported it to the Massachusetts AG office of consumer affairs... Again, here's the scam. ITEM - $35 + Shipping to home or office! or ITEM - $35 + Free pickup at store + plus $3 off "regular price" (lie)! or ITEM - $28 if you walk in off the street and "pick up at store"!

This particular Staples has always been fabulous with great service, fully stocked shelves, and extremely efficient and precise print and copy services (I have used them a few times and have nothing but good things to say). It's a smaller store, but has recently been redone and has all the departments you would need to find in a store of this type, office supplies, computers, copy and print, office furniture, and odds and ends in between. The clearance section at any Staples, this store included, is always extremely eventful as well. Only complaint (why four stars instead of five) is that the receipt continues to read "145 Great Pond Road", when it should read "145 Great Road". Not sure why this has not been fixed, especially considering how many times I have called and spoken to management about it. Since there aren't many places in Acton to get computers, furniture, and office supplies, this is definitely a needed store in the area and I appreciate how particularly nice this location is. 4 stars.

Oh my goodness ! It's the round bullseye of the Target !…read more While on vacation and in town for a convention we had to forget something. My goodness, let's find a Target . They have what we need. The phone cords don't work! Where is the brush ? No one knows? Let's use yelp, the Target is so many miles away and in the middle of the forest ! Yay new adventures await thee . What are we looking for as we walk in the door ? This Target is uniquely uniformed like those on the west coast . That makes it easy . Let's continue. The clothing in the women's department is different than what I'm used to. They actually sell trench coats here for ladies. The clothing line for this market is particularly great . Back to what we came in for. The electronics department is not what one would expect. It sort of small, but that's just the area perhaps. We were able to find the cords and cables that we needed. Every thing these days has to be connected and plugged in to enjoy life. After a couple laps around the store we found a "brush" finally we were on the way . The check out is not all automated here, it's an "actual" human that checks an individual out. What a concept, no robots yet here . The staff was warm and welcoming too . Everyone waved and it was genuine . They have a Starbucks inside the store for adventures in caffeine. Now it is time for us to get the day started as Target has fulfilled all our needs . Until the next time we meet.

As I was checking out, she made the same genuine small talk, like she was trying to connect with each person she interacts with...then she stopped my transaction to acknowledge 3 children that had run up to her to say "hi", she greeted them and gave them some stickers. That honestly made my day, that woman is an absolute all star and you are very lucky to have her (I wish I got her name so she could get the proper recognition).

The installation crew were all very respectful in keeping the home clean and Christopher, the team leader was always available for any questions. I finally have heat! I'm very happy with the whole experience from AMC, from the initial visit from Joe to the install crew, and to the office staff. I would highly recommend AMC for any HVAC project.

The noise was so objectionable that we couldn't sleep in our bedroom and our neighbor said that it was so loud that they would need to move if it wasn't corrected. Still, it took two years and an appeal to Bosch to get AMS to move the unit, which they did in January to a location of their choosing. Unfortunately, their technicians did not properly prepare the ground under the new location. In April, the rhubarb that had been in that location grew so strongly that it tipped the unit enough that it was in danger of falling over. We secured the unit with a tether and reported the problem. AMS sent the technician, who had installed the unit in that location, to investigate. He admitted that he had noticed something under the new location, but proceeded without removing it, thinking that it wouldn't be an issue. AMS then charged us for the technician's visit and has refused to correct the situation unless we pay for the procedure. The problem remains unresolved and AMS has not responded to our objections. The unit remains tilted. Had I seen the many negative reviews on this company, we would never have contracted with them for this $30,000+ project. Hopefully this review will help others to avoid our mistake.
