The wings were very good and served hot. I chose the Gold sauce and it had a little Caribbean style spice to it. The gold sauce was perfect and not at all overly spicy. The onion rings are made in house and cooked right before they are served. They were very good. The beer is all canned with no draft beers available, however, they also were good. The collision comes in a 16 ounce can and was $8, a fair price. It is self service and when you pay the lowest amount for a tip is 15% unless you choose custom and enter any amount you choose. This place has a really cool vibe with indoor/outdoor seating. My friend who is gluten-free was over the moon that gluten-free breading is used here for the chicken! I ordered a sweet potato with my meal, however, they were not ready at the time, so I went with potato salad. The potato salad was good and the chicken was pretty good. The variety of sauces was really nice and definitely helped out my chicken a lot as I thought it was good and not great. The service was friendly. The best part were the order tickets that were cards of throwback pop starts which was fun/funny. We were visiting the area to go to the zoo and looked for a good lunch spot, this was it. It's an indoor/outdoor spot that has old school music and fun vibe. They have picnic table kind of seating but did have high chairs which is a plus. You order at the counter and menu has everything from wings, tenders, cauliflower wings and sandwiches plus sides and sauces. The chicken tenders were pretty good. I wasn't a fan of their sides... the Mac and cheese tasted a bit bland. The sauces though were really good. But you can also have the tenders without the sauce. I had the tenders with the fries and their wings were also good. I would come back here again for sure if I'm craving chicken. Parking is easy, in a lot across the street. This place is amazing. They are so conscious of allergies and made me feel welcome instead of an inconvenience. It's a low key, bright lit little hang out. They offer beer (including gluten free new grist)!!! All of their items are gluten free (except some of the beers) and they have no possibility of cross contamination. I have a red pepper issue so it was a little more difficult for me but they were so knowledgeable. The gentleman talking my order and the lady preparing it spoke with me about my concerns and we came to a great decision on what I could eat. I am very pleased. First time at Boss ChickNBeer and I do have to say, their tenders are delicious! I think they use chicken breast, but the breading was light and the chicken was juicy! I ordered the gold sauce (so good) and the apple habenero sauce which had a nice sweet flavor with a kick to it! I also ordered the tator tots, and these were just okay. I believe they're homemade and they were nice and crunchy, but too much soft potato on the inside. I would have preferred the standard tator tots. Boss Chicken and Beer in Cuyahoga Falls totally lived up to the hype. We ordered a little bit of everything--wings, tenders, grilled chicken--and every bite was on point. Super flavorful, hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. Honestly, one of the best chicken experiences I've had in the area. Only downside was that they were out of sweet potatoes, but it turns out Cindy Lauper's concert crew had placed a massive catering order (400+ items!), so I can't really blame the restaurant. Still, some better communication from the event organizers would've helped them prep. The food took a little while, but it was worth the wait. The dining space is great, with a really cool vibe and this awesome penny-covered counter that's basically artwork. One small gripe--the self-serve utensil station had a few visibly dirty pieces, which was kind of disappointing. Probably someone put used ones back in the bin. Would love to see everything either wrapped or better sanitized. Parking isn't ideal, especially if First Street is under construction. Street parking is available, but crossing the road with kids didn't feel very safe. That said, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, and we left really happy. The chicken tenders look great, but the problem is they use entire chicken breasts, and the chicken fingers are way too thick. The sauces are pretty good. The mac & cheese was overcooked. We shared the potato skin appetizer and my husband got the chicken sandwich. Everything is gluten free!! The dishes were too spicy for my husband, so he probably won't go back, but I loved it. Looking for a good casual meal? I'd recommend visiting here. This establishment recently opened in Cuyahoga Falls and is one out of 4 locations (the first in the Akron area). I ordered the 4-pac meal which included 4 chicken tenders, 2 sauces and a side. I also got an extra side because I eager to try their offerings. The apple superfood slaw was healthy tasting. Usually when I order apple slaws they're usually on the sweeter side. This one was more tangy and did not taste like it was saturated in sauce. The onion rings were the best thing I tried. The rings were very crispy, not soggy at all and full of flavor. There was an airy feel to them that I have not experienced in other onion rings. I would come back just for the rings. The chicken tenders were good. There was a good amount of flavor to them. The batter was crispy in some places but somewhat soggy in others- but not like a wet mushy soggy, just soft. I was somewhat disappointed in the tenders and prefer Cane's over here, but that's just my preference. The sauces were tasty. I got the honey mustard and the bbq. Both sauces weren't overwhelmingly sweet and were good accompaniments for the tenders. I originally was going to rate this place a 3. I did not think it was worth the hype-especially for the long wait. But after some thought, I added an additional star. I respect that this place offers vegan food which is sometimes difficult to find. On top of that, they are considerate of food allergies and offer multiple options for people with sensitivities. Chicken wings were overcooked and burnt on some parts of the outside, but the fat and skin on the chicken wing was undercooked, flabby, and chewy. You had to really pull and tear the chicken wing off the bone because of how tough and overcooked it was. All the dipping sauces that I tried were very sweet and barely had any other flavor. I was in for lunch on a somewhat breezy day, so the garage door was closed. They do seem to have a million beers, but being on lunch break from work, I could not partake. The chicken strips themselves are enormous. I got four and it was almost too much. The mac/cheese was ok, it wasn't amazing. The sweet tea was good, but the cup is tiny. And if you want a refill you have to bother someone at the counter for it. The bad for me was the price. I would never come here with my entire family as it would cost close to $100 to feed everyone adequately. Just for me it was $22, tip included.
