The menu choices for alcohol were less than desirable. I know it's a brewing company, but the lack of options of liquor and/or wine were less than desirable. More importantly, we live at a time in our lives where politics and social agendas should be more thoughtfully communicated to patrons if you own a business. I am someone who is very socially aware and open..... but when I go to your business establishment, and the only flag you have waving is a gay pride, flag, especially during the week of Memorial Day, I have a problem with that. I'm not sure if this is a local gay bar, or its owners are just pushing their social agenda...either way, that should be communicated online. Respectfully, there are a lot of families who would want to know that prior to making a decision as to whether or not they want their children in what presumably could be a gay bar or at minimum a very pro gay friendly bar. There's far too many great bars in this town that I'd recommend before coming here based on the menu, but the other concerns do compound a negative experience. read more

Let me break this review down between the food and the beer - because let's be honest, that's what we all really want to know. I will mention the service was pretty good, it was a you order at the bar type situation. Beer- 10/10 I got a flight and I liked every single one of them. My boyfriend is turning me into a beer snob for sure because I will say with the colder weather the white stout was my absolute favorite. All the other beers were also delightful and I would drive all the way back up to Cuyahoga just to drink more beer. Food- The food was not as great. The pretzels were good, I have rarely met a soft pretzel I did not enjoy but the pizza lacked flavor. That was a bummer because it had chorizo and pickled red onions which typically are some of my favorite punchy flavors, it was just kind of bland. That being said, the crust was crunchy and flakey and I really liked that so I would 100% try another pizza here when I come back for more beer. read more

I actually saw a picture of their pizza online and thought it looked good, then made my family go and try it that night. Thankfully, they were not very crowded! There is outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating which will be nice come warmer days. The beer is cold and delicious along with their pizza's. We ordered two pepperoni pizza's for 3 people. One pizza is 6 smaller slices, so error on the side of caution, order extra because they are delicious! Their ranch dressing was great as well. We will definitely be coming back. read more

This is a great brewery to check out! We found it while we were using the Ohio on Tap Passport app and realized that we had been here before during a local baseball tournament. It's very modern, they have a good selection of both beer and food, and everybody is very friendly. Find a seat on your own and then order at the bar. They will give you a number and bring the food to the table. I recommend the pizzas. They have a large wood fire oven that you will see to the right of the entrance to the brewery. My wife really enjoyed the charcuterie plate: it was somewhat unique with the selection of meat, cheeses, sauces, and my favorite part: the dried peaches. A couple next to us at the bar had salads. They looked big and fresh. They often have special events on the patio, in fact, there is a painting party going on as I type this. Last time we were here, they had a mobile clothing boutique parked outside. We actually made a couple of purchases. HiHo Brewing Company gets five stars from us! read more

Great spot for brews and pizza in Cuyahoga. We stopped for lunch before a concert at Blossom. The space has plenty of outdoor and inside seating with an open air concept. We didn't have to wait at all to find a spot. Orders are taken at the bar for food and drinks. The menu includes appetizers, salads, a few sliders, and pizzas. We got a traditional pepperoni pizza and a specialty one with sausage and banana peppers. It definitely had a little spicy kick but was full of flavor. Our friends got the vegetarian with zucchini and raved about the uniqueness and taste of the ingredients. So, My wife and I hit up HiHO after a high and low hike over at the Cuyahoga Parks. We were tired. It was so hot and we helped ourselves to their flagship hazy, which was solid. The spicy honey pizza took home first place though as the crust, cheese, and flavors were original and texturally everything was really well executed. We will be back, it's honestly a shame it's not closer to us. They had a really cool patio and everyone was chill, something about sitting in a brewery that is so relaxing. There was an hour wait for the pizza so we will have to try that next time. The pretzel (5/5) came out as two rolls that were soft and warm. The beers we ordered were the key lime and the bossy lady. The IPA was not too heavy and you can taste how fresh it was. The key lime brew was flavorful, light and perfect for the sunny day. The charcuterie plate (5/5) was perfect. The cured meat, cheeses, pickles, dried apricots, and house made crackers were a knockout. The only bad thing was the everything twists. I think they were homemade too but those were embarrassing and should not have been served. They were dry, very stale, and hard as a rock. Lately, our $100 tabs have turned to $50 tabs due to staff who act like they can't wait for us to leave. Everyone has a moment - a bad day even. I get it. The beers are good and the food is good, the parking however isn't the best. If you can't find parking in the lot at HiHo there is parking down the street. So the pizzas are cooked in a wood fire oven and if you sit at the bar you can smell the pizzas cooking and it's awesome. They use a local butcher Duma's meats for their sausage pizza and have other local companies for ingredients. The staff are great and it's a cool environment as well. If you're looking for some good food and good craft beer that likes to source locally for things then this is a must try. read more

The ambiance is very nice. You can sit inside or outside. The brewery piece was small but the brews created were very tasty. My two beers both could have been colder; if HIHO had servers I would have asked one for some ice. Which leads me to my biggest issue - this joint has no servers. Nobody is available to bring you drinks or take your orders for food. Heck, we had to clean our table after the previous group left. To get your drinks and food you need to wait in line at the bar, pay, and then wait there until the drink order is prepared, and then YOU carry all the drinks back to your table. The food is delivered to you via a delivery guy and the pretzels we ordered took forever (we were drinking our second round and the pretzels were ordered with the first round). I'm sure when you pay they're asking for tips but they really don't earn it or deserve it. The lack of service is really a shame so we probably won't be going back. read more

We went to the Cuyahoga Valley national park over the summer and were feeling like getting some beers after a heavy day of hiking. A quick search lead us to HiHo and boy were we happy that we discovered this gem. Here are my ratings based on different criteria: Quality of beer: Great. We ordered couple of their Dunkel beers and they were spot on with flavor. I liked that you could order beers in different sizes in case you wanted to try out different ones. Decor: really cool. The beer tanks were right where the seating was. You can either sit inside or outside. We opted to sit inside by the screens overlooking the Cuyahoga river gorge and had an amazing view of the nature outside. Cleanliness: good. Tables were being cleaned regularly. Service: good. The bar area was wide enough to have 5 or so bartenders available at all times which kept the lines very short. Price: typical. Our beers were around $7 each. If you're in the mood to get some super good beers then checkout HiHo brewery. read more

Stood in line with 6 ahead of me to order when it was my turn I picked my selection and was told they were out of Pizza since 4:00 PM. I ordered a salad and two beers for my wife and I. At 5:30 I wanted to check out to go elsewhere for food and approached the bar and was told by a gruff manager that I had to get back in line with 5 people ordering to cash out. When I asked why they didn't post they were out of pizza at the door I was told by the gruff manager they only have one sign. Why the wait to checkout I was told they only have 4 employees. Not my fault. I watched a group of 10 walk out after they were told no pizza. No plans to go back or recommend to others. read more

Overall I really enjoy this place. The venue is large and very beautiful. They have a great indoor space with a lot of seating at the bar and tables through out but not over crowded with seating. They also have garage doors so you can get a nice breeze on a summer day. They also have a cute patio if you prefer sitting outside. The staff were all super friendly, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the beers. We had a great bartender who helped me pick out beers that I might enjoy. To be honest I'm not an IPA fan so the summer is not a good beer time for me personally so I tried the beers that weren't IPAs but I wasn't a huge fan of them but that's just my personal preference. Not a knock on the beer or the brewery. I have heard many great things about this place and I will definitely be back. read more

HiHO Brewing is among my favorite local spots to kick back and relax! I have always loved this brewery because they have a wide range of craft beers. If your not a fan of overly hoppy and high IBU beers (like me), there are options. If you enjoy the IPA, they have you covered. My favorite is their Touchdown Brown Ale. OK, I saved the best for last. HiHO now has a legit wood fires pizza operation going on. Their oven is the same exact oven I saw in Mallorca and they do a masterful job with their pizzas.
