White sangria Breakfast burger + truffle tots
    Hannah G.

4.5 I visited my friend in Cuyahoga Falls and she wanted to take me to Butcher & Sprout. We walked in and were seated right away. I got the white sangria, it was refreshing and citrus-y! My friend got the Farmers Daughter cocktail and she liked it, and said it was strong. We both got the Breakfast Burger + truffle tots w/ Parmesan (instead of fries). The quality of the meat was very good! It was interesting because they automatically cook it medium unless you want something different. I wish I would've asked for medium rare, but I just went with what was the norm. I wish the burger patty had been seasoned more. But other than that, the burger as a whole was really good. The truffle tots were amazing. The server was really attentive and nice. Another server came around to top off our waters. Overall it was a great experience! The restaurant is huge inside, with sleek and bright vibes. They have a big outdoor patio as well.

The cheese wax paper is centered in the upper part of the photo. It'll be a while if ever before I go back.

Used to give the place four or five stars until tonight, and remembering a buddy's episode from a few months ago. First day having an appetite after a bug I decided to meet a buddy for a couple drinks and my dinner. Everything was fine until a couple bites into my Butcher Burger, wtf is this? Wax paper from the cheddar cheese. Cooking and grilling 101... DO NOT KEEP WAX PAPER (or whatever the hell it is made of not to mention all the other crap that I'm sure reacts well to heat and oven temps) DO NOT KEEP WAX PAPER ON CHEESE TO CONSUME AND CERTAINLY NOT ON A GRILL. Fantastically disgusting texture that takes a second to say "wtf was that" as you're conversing with your buddy. The server/bartender did her best, but the manager... well I just said out loud, "I've got Crohn's disease, I don't know what'll happen with that!" "Oh you'll be okay." Are you a doctor? A gastroenterologist? Any kind of digestive expert? No. After getting free two or three bites of a burger a losing any appetite I finally got back, I got a free Coors banquet! My buddy and I met there to have a couple drinks so I did pay for two mixed drinks and his beer, fighting the nausea that was ensuing, since I just ate cheese paper. Then the best Christmas gift of all, finally succumbing to the nausea and throwing up whatever would come up. Utterly fantastic Christmas Eve Eve.

Went just for the happy hour, loved it! Truffle anything is my favorite and I loved these truffle tots. The brussels were cooked perfectly and the cream sauce on there was a great touch, and different than anywhere else. Pleased with the prices for happy hour as the portions were small, i'd be upset if I paid full price for the portion sizing we got. Glad HH is 7 days a week. Overall, waitress was lovely and ambiance was great.

Butcher and sprout blew my mind! We wanted to try a new burger place. And this did not disappoint!! If your not into meat their veggies menu is amazing too! We had the brussel sprouts and they were delicious I did not expect it! They made the burgers perfectly. I love their farm house type look and their mission behind being locally sourced. Can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed a lovely local dinner here. The restaurant has minimal decorations, but does have some games that can be played while waiting on food. We ordered burgers, with salad and Brussels sprouts. The side salad was pretty basic and the dressing not that flavorful. We finished our meal with delicious carrot cake though that made up for it. Service was a tad slow but everyone was nice and accommodating. Would be back to try other menu items.

    Steak Sandwich

I am a bitch! So apparently the steak sandwich is about the bread. Onion ring were good, Caesar salad looked a day old. The bar is lit up like you are getting and examination. The new hire is unaware of her surroundings, busy flirting with the English dude, while I wait to order at 9PM - I would skip this one The blonde bartender was lovely, recruite her someone

Cute ambiance. Everything is made local.

The burgers were flavored well and very juicy. I like that everything made at the restaurant is sourced locally. Service was good, I'm not sure if they were short staffed, our waitress was quick to talk, get the order but was gone just as quickly, not sure if she was also helping with the bar. Very cute atmosphere. I love the old building feel, rustic but modern. I would definitely try again. I'm very interested in their pickle fries.

Saturday Brunch was a win. ONLY downside was no Steak(Brisket) and Eggs. Great Bloody Mary and espresso martini. Wife had the chicken and waffles while I had the Farm Benedict. Both were delicious. Service at the bar was great and Sydney was very helpful and professional. Very relaxed and enjoyable while eating and watching the game. Nice ambiance in the front, street view room also. We can't wait to go back.

She had the Rueben and the corned beef was perfectly prepared on a marble rye bread with thousand island dressing. She enjoyed the sandwich except would have preferred a bit more sauerkraut. I had rosemary flank steak that was a bit over cooked and a bit under seasoned. (I ordered it medium and that should mean a bit if pink. Instead it came out no pink.) the accompanying garlic mash were superb but not as hot as I might like. The seasonal green beans were the hit of the plate. Tory was an excellent waitress, attentive but did not hoover. Ambiance was inviting but basic. (Kind of airy.) I recommend the restaurant

Cute family friendly brunch place with lots of seating, kind service, and good food. Lots of seating options and clean bathrooms with a changing table too. I got the French toast which was very good. The cream and berry compote was savory and sour. My kid loved the waffle although we all know cutting oranges like that are pretty but no toddler is eating that... u less they want the rind . My husband had the baked burger which he enjoyed since he is GF but because the fries are not, he got the seasonal veggie which was glazed carrots. They were way too oily and cinnamon forward...all else was very good!

Walked in on a Saturday evening and the place was packed, hostess told me it would be about an hour wait and I ended up waiting for about 20-30 minutes before being seated. I was ignored for a while but the waitress I got told me nobody told her that I needed service and apologized. What I got: side of brussels sprouts (4/5) -- you really can't go wrong with pancetta and garlic aioli drenched brussels sprouts...rich, creamy, and tender all in one, this was the better part of the meal Butcher LT (3/5) -- all very fresh ingredients and good balance throughout, but the bacon wasn't standout and the bread was fairly dry even with the sauce they include in the sandwich...I also felt like it could have used some other seasoning such as black pepper or smoked paprika side of sweet potato fries, subbed instead of standard fries with sandwich (2/5) -- these were over fried, so much so that there was no potatoey texture when you bite into them..they are like sweet potato chips and I was concerned about breaking my teeth on these Belgian pearl sugar waffle (3/5) -- the waffle was beautiful with a crunchy exterior and tender inside, icecream was ok (surprisingly not too sweet) but when I read praline icecream I thought I would be getting chunks of praline inside...I also didn't get much smoked maple bourbon. This dish needed salt and something else since eating everything together felt very one note. The waitress I had was really sweet and the prices of everything here are fair, but the food is mediocre at best.

I stepped outside and that area appears to be closed basically cause I didn't see any products really out there with the exception of one employee sitting there on his phone. I went to use the ladies restroom and the stall I happen to walk into was absolutely disgusting somebody was seriously rude in that bathroom. So I went over to Customer Service to let them know and I stood there for 10 minutes while two employees had interaction and talking and even after they were done talking The employee behind the counter who was actually working did not address me or say, can I help you or anything. The Employee, who is obviously on break on my side of the counter, looked at me like oh my God she isn't addressing you were helping you my thoughts exactly I thought we conveyed that with our eye contact. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but apparently there wasn't one available only a service coordinator. When I spoke to him about Xavier W sitting on his phone instead of working and they're paying for that and I told him about the bathroom he seemed completely not bothered by it and just went on with his regular tasks. Some heads need to spin at the store so they can have better customer service. The prices are actually quite high here and when that goes along with poor Customer Service, I see no reason to really ever come back to the store again. I want to add I ran into Danielle P and the ladies department because I needed some questions answered regarding clothing and dressing, rooms, etc. she was amazing. Super kind and friendly. I was shocked, however, to find out that they sell all these clothes and no dressing room.

Just know that going in. And the store needs to keep track and restock those items. If you want people to shop and those are your specials. We don't want to see bare shelves of the specials, that's why we came in. Produce they are OK. Some ok specials and lots of choices. Prices are mediocre at best. Some sales are good and no sale price are not so good. You have to know prices. I think their deli counter is really high. I don't get any deli. Meat counter has some good specials. Everything else is high. They have decent prices on eggs, milk, bread, and cheese. All the Meijer brands are an ok deal as well. Around the holidays they also have some good sales and their prices are good. Turkey, ham, hamburgers, hot dogs. All holidays through the year. They also have clothes, shoes, pet supplies. Again. Sales decent otherwise prices are just OK. You need to be aware and know how much so you can take advantage of the sales. Overall, it's better than Walmart in my opinion but just a hair better. Be aware and shop what you need. It's OK to be picky.

There are quite a few products that I buy that are more expensive at Acme than they are at Meijer, even though Meijer is a higher-end store. 3. The lines at the 1 open register(sometimes 2) are always long- I don't mind using self checkout, but I'm 37. Sometimes at night there are 0 registers open. Stop forcing people (especially the elderly) to check themselves out. (I realize this is a problem at many places, but I'm still blaming Acme here) 4. Not all, but enough of the cashiers aren't great. If I go to a register, I have to choose between dealing with a rude surly Boomer, or a Gen Z that doesn't say anything to me. But unlike other stores in the hours before closing, this Giant Eagle had a lack of the post apocalyptic desolation vibe that would usually happen at 9pm. Instead, it had an occupied warmth. Employees still walked the aisles and manned their posts with life in their eyes. Nobody likes their public facing job an hour before their shift is over, but these employees hid it really well. Maybe I'm used to seeing people that look like they've given up. Maybe I'm projecting; in truth, does a go getter attitude intimidate me because I'm ashamed of my own poor work ethic? Does a lifeless, hateful type of employee satiate my own ego? These are questions I might muse about as I pluck some semolina flour from the shelf. They have semolina flour! They have a huge cheese selection! They have so many stocked, neat shelves. The store is wonderfully clean and a litmus for what Giant Eagles should feel like.
