My first time with cat eye. Also, I had broken a nail and she seamlessly repaired it with poly gel. All for $75 In the blue set, can you even tell which nail was broken? Me neither ;) Also the $45 pedicure is the second tier up and for only $45 (instead of $35) you also get paraffin wax which always leaves my feet feeling so soft. I was passing by in route to an errand. I gave them a call to inquire about a pedicure and half leg waxing. I did not make an appointment. I just gave them a window of when I'd be there. Upon arrival, immediately water was being ran in the basin for my pedicure. Katie did my pedicure and she did a fantastic job. I had the deluxe which offered a mask, scrub and paraffin wax treatment. I selected my polish in regular. I do not care for gel based on three previous experiences at three different nail shops. The one thing about the polish, it was too thick as in older than new. Typically, I bring my own base coat, color and top coat. However, this was an impromptu stop. Aside from this the experience was nice. Sandy did my half leg with sugar wax. I was skeptical about sugar wax. I'm very meticulous. She got the job done. Results are what they should be. I've grown accustomed to the hard wax where no cloth is needed. Im a new mom and when my husband offered to give me a day to myself, I knew that this is where I wanted to go. Bossy nails had been on my list for a while and it was the perfect time to check them out for a day of pampering. They were playing the jams (Mariah Carey's concert in Vietnam) when I walked in and I was immediately greeted by their welcoming staff. I was coming in for a pedicure and there are 3 offerings - Basic, Deluxe and VIP. The difference between deluxe and VIP is the addition of a hot stone massage. Both include paraffin wax which is uncommon to see in a pedicure package -- it's usually an added service on top of a pedicure. Since it was Mama's day out, I went for the vip package and it was worth it! They really take their time with removing cuticles and massaging worn out calves. At the time, they had a 15% promo if you're getting both a mani and pedicure. Tip: Call them to make an appointment. Although the option to book is available on their website, the timing isn't accurate. You're better off calling for availability. read more

Just moved to the area a few months ago tried a couple different places as I'm very ocd about my nails and toes I came here today and got my toes done for my baby shower on Saturday as I am 7 and half months pregnant it's hard for me to get to my toes I was so beyond happy with the service and how my toes look huge thank you! I don't have a nail shop that I am loyal to. I'm trying out different locations. This location was on my errand running route so I dropped in. No appointment. The shop is located on e14th but they do have a parking lot. I went in on a Monday, early afternoon. There were only two patrons so I didn't have to wait long. The place quite large and is pretty nice. They also have two private waxing rooms. I was told to sit at a nail station that had obvious signs of prior use. File dust all over. No biggie. I assumed she would wipe it down. She did not! She put down a sheet of, for lack of terminology, dental bib. She filed off my gel polish and soaked my fingers in a bowl of COLD WATER (with no soap) to soften my cuticles. She cut my cuticles, and at this point the dental bib is full of file dust and cuticles. She didn't clear it not once. My hands are also dusty at this point for obvious reasons. Now, from my experience, this is the point where the manicurist tells you to go wash your hands. She did not. She threw away the bib. Put down the plastic price menu (pictured), sat the uv light on top of it and began painting my nails. I asked her for a towel to lay over the menu (under the light). She said the menu was clean and It was ok to put my hand on it. I then asked if she could place down a paper towel. She did with no hesitation. She was never rude. Both ladies working were friendly. When I put my hand under the light, my fingernails burned. I hadn't experienced that before. Did my nails come out nicely? They actually did. I am pleased with them. Even better, I was in and out! The thing is, they charge the same price as other nail salons who don't cut corners. Will I go back? Truthfully, yes. All in all, the location is perfect and the service is fast. read more

The nail tech made me bleed on two fingers. When she cut my quick the first time she tried to pour cauterizing powder, I said no, she grabbed and pulled my hand back and did it anyway. On my ring finger she pushed so hard while scraping she caused a white pressure spot, by the time she cut the quick on my pinky I asked her to stop the manicure. The tech had also continued to use the dremmel when I asked her not to (look how bad the scratches on my nails are), now my nails fold! back when I work with my hands. The owner or manager at the end of all this comes up to me and says since she cut you ill give you 10% off... I don't know about you but I don't want to pay for a painful bloody unfinished! manicure. read more
