It's my first time coming here in this place cause the usual place I go to is closed on Sundays. After going here I have now decided, I will come back again. All the staff were nice and pleasant. Vee. Teagan. Van. Gigi are all very sweet. One thing I really noticed is was when Van was doing my pedicure and also with Teagan when she was doing my manicure, they were both very gentle and really taking time to clean your nails. You can really see how they treat your hands and feet with tender loving care. I just love Vee because she kept singing while doing her work and her bubbly attitude just makes me laugh. This Salon is just like most of the rest in terms of the space not too big not too small but they are clean and the staff are wonderful. I noticed how big the difference from the old salon that I used to go to. They just take your service and you kind of feel that they're rushing you. Sometimes it hurts my nails when they're doing it. To start, over the phone I told the lady I wanted a FULL-SET on my toes. When I got there a guy did a FILL on my toes with pink powder. The pink he used was not the same pink as the one already on my toes. I do not get any polish on my toes this is why I told him WHITE POWDER. He told me take off to do white I told him okay and he still proceeded to do the pink. If the pink was not SEE THROUGH I would have been okay with that but no it looks ridiculous. There was no massage chair, no bubbling water just nothing. Literally cried about this because it's ridiculous ! Want your money but not doing what you asked for. I have been coming here for years. They never fail! I typically come for the pedicures (I'm actually here as I type this!) which I have found to be the best. I get manicures every so often and realize I should probably get them more because they make my nails look incredible! ALERT!!! STAFF needs to change in the way they provide customer service They make you feel is MANDATORY TO GIVE TIP!!!! How ? one time i gave cash and they separated the tip first then saying i didn't give the whole amount i had a pedicure and manicure and first separated their 35 dollar tip. They talk about people while giving service. I took my mother for a pedicure for her first time , she was excited until staff were laughing about her feet , by lifting the foot in the air and showing to other staff , including other customers . I called in 30 minutes before to set an appointment and asked for a full set. I went and waited for about 5-10 minutes for the customer in front of me to be finished. It turns out that there was only one person doing manicures today so they could not take a lot of people at once. There were more people to do the pedicures though. I recommend calling in and setting an appointment so you don't need to wait a long time. I asked the man that was doing my nails if he could do the jade/ green marble nails. I showed him a picture too and he did an amazing job. It was exactly what I wanted. The shape to the color to the style to the gold was perfect. Wanted to try a new nail salon just for a change. I was greeted when I walked in and was attended to right away. I wanted to get a gel manicure with french tips. I asked if she could cut my nails just a little, she asked if the length was ok, which it was. Then she continued to keep cutting my nails even shorter! Fast forward, she took forever to do the french tips and it was a really sloppy job. I asked for a design, the flower looks like a 3rr grader drew it. The tips aren't even covering my natural nail line, it looks like I've had this manicure for three weeks already and I literally just got them done yesterday. I had seen QT Nails many times when I am in the area, but I usually would go elsewhere to get my nails done. One day, I was on a time crunch and could not get an appointment or even do a walk in without a long wait before I headed to work, so I decided to stop by here since there was no wait. The lady who did my manicure was okay, I felt like she rushed a bit, but I was okay with it since I was in a rush as well. Unfortunately she did such a sloppy job that it peeled the next day, so I had to stop by early in the morning when they opened. It was a different lady working and I tried to explain to her, after she fixed their mistakes, I asked how much it was to see if she will charge me (other nail shops never charge me for their mistakes), she thought hard about it and ended up charging me probably because I offered to pay - I usually tip even for nail shops fixing their mistakes, but since she decided to be greedy and charge me, I just paid the price she gave me and left. Plus, the nails she fixed ended up peeling a few days later. Yeah, I am never going there again and I will stick to my usual spots - my nails usually last at least 1 week and a half - 3 weeks and the service is way better. read more

I've been to QT Nails & Spa a couple of times in the last month and a half. When I first went in for a full set pink and white, I didn't realize my technician thought I meant a gradient effect and so after realizing what he was attempting on my pinky, I explained that I'd actually wanted a French manicure pink and white. It notably upset him and he said you should have just asked for white tips I told him no because my nails beds were really short. It was my mistake but the shape seemed ok and I appreciated him redoing the nail then completing the set so I tipped him $20. I noticed he didn't ask me to wash my hands after filing and figured maybe that wasn't protocol. My total including tip was $80 for a pink and white French fullset. Last Friday I went in for a fill and a pedicure. I told the same technician that I would want to put a pink polish gel coat on instead of maintaining the French mani. Despite this he still did a pink and white French fill then put the gel polish coat on top...and charged me for both services instead of just an acrylic fill with gel polish. I didn't feel like arguing so I just let it go. My pedicure tech gave a wonderful foot massage. I noticed the gel polish peeling and some toes were jagged. My total this time was $80 for a gel polish pedicure and what I think was a pink and white fill with gel polish on top? I tipped each $10. $100 out the door. It's less than a week later and the gel polish on my hands is chipping. I've also noticed that my nails are quite lumpy. I've wanted to get an appointment with another tech but her books must be full because she's always with a customer and somehow I wind up with the same techs every time. This place is okay in a pinch but I don't know that I'll be back. read more

The problem I see is, they take any walk-in so if you have an appointment beware! Halfway through my pedicure, one girl decided to start my fill. Never really got a foot massage, leg mostly. The polish chipped the next day. The one doing my fill she did not clean underneath where my natural nail is or put glue. And now the gel nail polish is peeling off. read more

I'll give him credit for trying. BUT out of all the design I'd show him, he did not know how to do any of them. At this point I was already over it. This was absolutely the BEST place I have ever gotten my nails done at! I highly recommend it to anyone! I walked a mile I believe from Bart just to get there. It was amazing experience, although I wish they talked more, it wasss a little too quiet for my liking to be completely honest until another customer came in. I decided to try out this nail salon cos the one I usually go to was miles away and their prices went up! This is my 2nd time here and this review might be too early to say that I like them but my experience has by far been great! I mostly go for gel nails rather than Acrylics. Compared to other nail salons, QT nails technicians work with you to get to your inspo nails! Other nail salons usually tell me they can't do certain designs with gel and force me to go for Dipped or Acrylic instead. Do not come here if u value the health of ur nails!!! I got my nails done here the other day The woman who did my nails cut me on both ring fingers while cutting my cuticles. Horrible experience! I went in on Friday at 6pm and the guy that did my nails was rushing. He did a horrible job. He didn't file them down right and he even cut me while he was using the machine smh.
