And I've noticed that she had charged me different prices through out the times I have gone even though I have gotten same style and French tip and she has gone from "70" to "80" then "85" then back to "75" and back and forth on price. I also had another occasion in this place where she took me and left me half started and told me to wait for the other girl bc she had an appointment and had me waiting for 15 mins with my nails started and I had to leave so I had to pay 40 dollars for half started nails and I went back later so she can finish and charged me another 40 dollars ! We both left smiling and were excited to come back. Because of that great first visit, I brought my daughter and her friend back before school started. Once again, their nails turned out beautiful, but when I went to pay, I was shocked. The total came to $50 for my daughter and $55 for her friend. The odd part is, her friend's nails were actually less detailed than my daughter's. Just 11 days earlier, I had paid $35 for the exact same service for my daughter. What really bothered me was the inconsistency in pricing. I called the salon and spoke directly with the owner. She told me the nail technician was "confused" - apparently the $25 upcharge was for my daughter, and the $20 extra was for her friend. But I don't understand how there could be confusion when there were two separate technicians doing each girl's nails. Jackie is a perfectionist and I have never gotten my nails as evenly shaped until I met her. But Jackie's schedule and mine don't really align so I started to see Le. Anyways, I had an appointment for 5:30 pm for a fill. Le calls me earlier in the afternoon and asked if I could come in at 6:15 instead. At 6:10, she calls me again and asked, "are you here yet?" I was a little confused as to why she was rushing me when she was the one who moved my appointment back? The entire time during my appointment, she was not paying attention and chatting away with her coworkers. I asked for short white acrylics. She kept filing it to the point where every single nail was crooked, uneven, and lumpy. There were pockets of air and dust on every nail. I pointed it out and corrected her 4 times. She said it's because the powder that they have is soft and therefore thin. In the end, she applied white gel polish on top, which was streaky and uneven. I was honestly tired of correcting her because I am aware of how nicely she can get my nails when she tries. I paid and left but then couldn't stand how they looked so I called the salon and asked for an appointment for a removal + new set for the following day. Le said she will try to accommodate my appointment but will call me back. She returns my call and said she will have to let me know tomorrow morning- but never called. read more

I showed the nail tech a photo of the design I wanted and she did a really great job of making my nails look identical to the ones in the photo I showed her. However, it was pretty expensive for a fill. I paid $70 and there is still acrylic under my index finger and it hasn't been 24 hours yet and a lot of the little beads on my ring fingers have fallen off. Not sure if I would return. read more

So I had visited JC boo nail on July 1, 2022 and the accommodated me on a last minute. When I entered, I was greeted by the employees. They asked me to wash my hands and I sat down at a station and a male individual was going my nails, an acrylic refill. I could tell that he was new and was still learning the ropes of how to do nails. There was acrylic on the sides under my nail which made it stuck to my skin. He had very sharp nails and he dug his nails in the area to make my skin unstick from the acrylic which did make me bleed on 2 of my fingers underneath. He asked me what I wanted and I asked for a French tip. When he had first applied the white portion, he basically did a square shape on my nails, which I was very taken aback by. I asked him if he could redo it and he did with the help of another employee that was to the left of him. There are white streak marks on my nails and while it is just been over a week, my nail polish is chipping off and my cuticles and upper acrylic area are messy and undone.
