Don't understand the negative reviews. I was at this airport bar/restaurant back at the end of October 2024. No wait for a table, and I quickly ordered my soda while I perused the menu. Place is comfortable and clean. The waitresses are friendly and prompt with their service. I went for some Boston dogs and fries. The fries were nice and crunchy, the dogs were juicy and flavorful. The Boston Bruins Bar is your typical airport spot. A nice spot to hang out at while waiting for your flight, but the food is below average. We had the ramen fries which are literally french fries with salt & pepper with a side of chipotle mayo along with the pretzel. The french fries themselves were good and the pretzel was kinda greasy and the side of dipping cheese was gross. We stopped and had lunch before our flights at the Boston Bruins Bar near Gates A13-A16 at Boston Logan International Airport. The food and service were OK. About what I expected. Run-of-the-mill, chain, frozen-type stuff, but not bad. It served its purpose. Boston Bruins Bar is located near the south end of Logan's satellite terminal for Terminal A. Logan is piecemeal. From the main terminal of Terminal A, you have to go through an underground tunnel to get to the satellite terminal. Many airports have bars/sports bars. This one happens to be Boston Bruins-themed. The black-and-gold color scheme is on point and there are glass displays containing B's memorabilia such as jerseys, hockey sticks, and photographs. Jerseys include those of Zdeno Chara and Bobby Orr. We visited on a Sunday around 11:30am. There weren't many people - customers or staff - when we arrived, but it filled up pretty good by the time we left. The staff took their sweet time with us. Good thing we weren't in a rush. Aside from that, service was fine. Our servers were polite and nice enough and our order came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food menu here was simple - fries, pretzel, chowder, Caesar salad, sandwiches, one burger option, one hot dog option, nachos, and flatbread pizza. A couple of us wanted the hot dog option, the Boston Dog (two hot dogs for $14.50), but they were out of hot dogs. That was disappointing. Three of us ended up splitting an order of the Ramen Fries ($13) and we each got an order of the New England Clam Chowder ($13). The Ramen Fries came with "ramen spice" and Sriracha mayo (two servings). They were satisfactory and par for the course. The New England Clam Chowder came with a side of Westminster-brand oyster crackers. The portion size was good and the chowder tasted fine. However, it definitely wasn't the kind of clam chowder you'd get at a proper sit-down restaurant. It had a cheap, "instant" quality to it. We had a view and were sitting right on top of a public street, Harborside Dr. I think that's rare for an American airport terminal, airside (inside security). This is a great option for breakfast food. I had the breakfast burrito, which was great. The addition of the corn, black beans, and avocado inside the burrito was a great touch. My meal was the worst meal I've ever had in an airport. The waitstaff was great, no complaints, but the chicken sandwich i ordered had chicken that seemed uncooked and rubbery. When i complained, the waiter seemed to understand my discontent and encouraged me to order something else. The diet Pepsi was horrible. the mixture of syrup to soda water was awful. Your typical airport restaurant with less than friendly staff and below average food. They know you have very few options so they don't need to make any changes to leave an impression. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the all American breakfast. The burrito was probably the best thing out of it all but it wasn't anything special. The potatoes are just the frozen French fries they serve with every meal all day. The bacon had a very weird taste, almost like dish soap to me. For a restaurant with as many staff available, it was awfully slow. Came to have breakfast before our flight. I originally wanted the frittata, because it was gluten free--they didn't have it any more. Opted for the three egg meal, with sausage and no biscuit. I got bacon instead of sausage. Found a hightop table that needed cleaning, and immediately a gentleman wiped the table off, handed me an additional menu and shared a short personal story about his early life in Alabama. He was pleasant and cordial even after admitting to having a bad morning. After waiting 23 minutes, a server arrived to greet, and asked if we were ready to order. Upon the return with beverages, I was informed the restaurant was out of fries but a salad could be substituted. I declined the salad, and asked if the entree would be the same price. The server, who has yet to give her name, says she'll ask the manager. Jermaine arrived and stated a discount would be applied to the partial meal. At 11:42a, one portion of my meal arrived, then 11:46a a plate of fries arrived. I was told 'they found some fries'. I was pleasantly pleased. The meal was prepared to my expectation. Atmosphere was typical airport activity. Missed the 5th star due to delay in service and lack of attentiveness of server (probably caused by guest count). Positive: Teamwork- heard Jermaine mentioned he was working on his day off. Saw a manager assisting in the kitchen cooking meals. We sat down today to order some lunch before our flight. We browsed the menu via the QR code at the table. We were ready to order and attempted get the attention of the male server, when my son got his attention he rudely said "I'll be with you in a moment" we waited a few minutes and he returned with the menu, we said we had browsed it and he snatched back the menus gave a cursory fake smile and walked away.
