Given that the BC Club is a membership club, we had to wait till Restaurant Week in order to get a looksee at the place. To enter 100 Federal for our lunch, we had to show the security guards our IDs. Then up to the 36th floor we went, and were offered an unmanned coat closet for our convenience, and directed to the dining room at the end of the hall. Unfortunately our view was initially obscured by the fog, but that cleared up some before we left. Service was good despite the fact that they had forgotten to get me the hot water I had asked for early on. The bread basket was filled with an assortment of crackers and breads with some softened butter. I especially enjoyed the white flat water cracker, which had its own simple flavor. We had the soup selections for our appetizer. I had the NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER which was an extremely brothy version with rather large chunks of potatoes. It was tasty, but my personal preferences lean towards the creamier thicker version. For our entrees, we selected the FETTUCINE Tomato duck ragu and the ROASTED SALMON Mustard crusted, lentil stew, broccoli rabe. The fish was very well prepared - cooked through yet very tender, with a nice crisp on top. The fettucine were tender ribbons laced with shredded duck sauce. For dessert, we ordered the LEMON BUDINO and the CHEESECAKE. The cheesecake flavor of the day was a peanut butter and jelly. The roasted grapes garnishing the cheesecake faked my friend out as fig, but they were very juicy and interesting. The lemon budino was very light and refreshing - most definitely a repeat choice. The BC Club is open to non-members several days a year - according to their website, the next Open House Reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Apr 6, 2011, 6:00pm - 7:30pm It isn't a cash establishment. Not only do they require your credit card in order to make the reservation, they only take credit cards for payment. And the dress code is business casual. 3.5 stars

So obviously you can only go here if you are with a member. We went during the lunchtime hours and it wasn't very crowded, which was nice. I had the swordfish and it was pretty decent but nothing special. Overall, the highlight of this place is the great view of Boston. The atmosphere is kinda old, a bit snobby, and very Caucasian so I felt a bit out of place, but the staff were friendly and quick. I would say that if you want a better dining experience, some place like the Top of the Hub is better.

The BC club is a wonderful venue for networking and dining. It is a member only venue but you can bring guests. When you dine, the servers are great and cater to your every need. Always bringing a smile to my face, they really know how to make you feel special. In addition,5he view from the top is spectacular. It is a great way to see the city, especially as sun sets.

I've been fortunate to have attended meetings here. The views are spectacular, and the food is wonderful The simple plate of eggs, toast, and bacon are truly wonderful. The prices are a little on the higher side, but as they were business meetings, it wasn't my wallet that took the hit. If you have the opportunity, JUMP on it!

What a view! and what great food! Just had lunch with a colleague. The Clam Chowder - a Boston classic was a unique twist - lighter, but much more flavorful than I had anticipated and the tomato Mozzarella reminded me of Capri - Italy! If only there was an outdoor deck as Matt C mentioned! For Boston, for Boston....!!

It was dull, uptight, and inclusive. Boston Toastmasters could not be farther from that! I attended a few meetings as a guest initially in May 2013, and much to my surprise, it was a youthful, upbeat, and incredibly diverse club. No dress attire (though it doesn't hurt when you're giving a speech), job (many clubs are only for certain companies), or experience required. Most meetings draw crowd of 40-70 people, including a plethora of guests. People of all ages, races, statuses and styles, yet everyone is incredibly supportive of each other and their respective journeys to improve their public speaking skills. Many come just to listen to speeches! All the club officers are very welcoming and run the meetings and club smoothly and efficiently. There are opportunities to socialize after the meeting when a large group heads to Cornwall's in Kenmore Square, as well as informal group dinners and picnics open to members and their significant others. Whether you are looking to nail that wedding toast, give a great presentation at work, or even just work up the courage to speak for a single minute during Table Topics (a portion of the meeting where even guests can participate), then Boston Toastmasters can be, and wants to be, for you.

Took a few looks through the menu and pictures of the food and this was the spot. The staff are incredibly friendly, we had a server who was from Honduras and shot out to him for being super friendly to us. He recommended us this big brunch meal that came with everything to share and we also had some fried yuca tacos. Everything was incredibly savory and a very fulfilling meal. La lenador came with carnitas, eggs, cheese quesadillas and churro. It was enough to share with 3 people along with an order of tacos that I did not get a picture of sadly. But every thing we ate was amazing. I also had the Paloma cocktail and it was a great drink to complements the meal and the vibe of the restaurant. Their bouncer checked my ID, wished me a happy belated birthday and said I could either be seated outside or find an open seat by the bar. I opted for the second option. I came in and told the bartenders I was already buzzing and trying to enjoy my last night in Boston. From their recommendation, I ordered the steak quesabirria - top knotch recommendation because as someone visiting from California, I really enjoyed this plate. I also had two rounds of the Broken Heart margarita, and got some calamari to go. Vibes are immaculate here, music choice for the nightly setting was on point. Customer service was superb. And for a restaurant/bar as crowded as it was, the restroom was so clean.
