I wish I had seen the star rating and read reviews before going. The service was "okay", similar to other Boston Pizza locations. The food was below average. The decor is dated (will never be deemed retro ;-) My biggest complaint is the Appy Hour. The Chilliwack location doesn't offer it, but you don't know until the bill comes. What should have cost $42 at all other locations I've been to, cost $53. I think most of the 9 reviews of 5 stars are fake, but I can believe the 28 reviews of 1 star are real....Who takes the time to give a 5 star review (given the expectations) of a mediocre dining experience. This place is a joke! The food is some of the worst I've ever eaten out of this entire chain, and that's saying something. We've eaten before, and the restaurant is falling apart inside. Everything is dirty and grungy, and it's clear the staft and management don't care as their always too busy chatting with each other instead of actually working. 15+ minutes waiting for drinks, 10 waiting for the waitress to come back, and another 45 minutes waiting for a sandwich and a burger. Horrible service. We stopped by and waited 10 minutes for a seat and the restaurant was at half capacity maybe. We sat and the service to get just our 2 sodas and a lemonade took a while. And usually I'm pretty forgiving... didn't think much of it. But we sat ordered our food. An appetizer and a medium pizza... our 3 year old was actually really patient... but we waited for an hour and as we were getting ready to walk out... our server had the guts to come and ask if we needed anything else... we didn't even get our food! The single worst dining experience I have had in my life. I have only ever sent food back 3 times in my life and 2 of those times were at Boston Pizza in chilliwack tonight. My friend and I went there, her food was alright but not great, she got the dill chicken burger. I got the Big Dipper and the meat in my sandwich was cold, and I'm not talking luke warm, I'm talking cold cold. so I sent it back. Then it came back and one half of the sandwich was so hot it burnt my tongue (much rather that then cold) and the other half was just as cold as the previous time. So I sent it back again. Now this alone wouldn't make this my worst experience ever, but the fact is there were only 4 tables, 5 including us and neither of us could tell you who our server was because NO ONE was around. We watched the person we thought was our waiter walk to her car with her bag and drive away after we had asked for our bill... We waited 20 minutes after saying we just want our bill and to leave and still no one brought us our bill. We were not the only table who had to hunt people down to pay. We finally got tired of waiting and went up to the bar where a very rude bar tender finally gave us our bill so we could pay and leave. I honestly have never had a dining experience where there was not a single good thing about it. Terrible staff, terrible food. read more

Tonight the service was terrible. I had lip marks on my glass and they only have one server? Quite an interesting night. The food was alright a little bit on the lower side end of things. Been to several Boston Pizzas, but have never had more poor service than at this location. There is always something wrong with the orders, the staff is slow, the kitchen is slow, the management doesn't seem to care. Tonight, not only did they serve everyone with a five minute delay in between first plate and last plate coming to the table, but baked into one of the dishes was a hair that was very clearly not from the person eating it. I go here every few months to see if they change, but enough is enough. read more

Service was very slow and inattentive for the quality of food we were given. The burger ordered wasn't even cooked all the way, and wasn't hot either. My friend asked for no cheese and with mayo, but there was cheese and no mayo. There was also something floating in friend's drink, which the server did switch out quickly. Still, gross... Poor experience overall we were greeted and sat at a booth that hadn't been cleaned yet. It took 30 minutes to get our first two drinks, and an additional 15 for the third. Two other groups left before getting there food and said they had been waiting for over an hour. They recommended we leave but we wanted to give it a chance. It was not busy whatsoever there is no excuse for being so slow. The our looked very bored and was not very helpful. The people at the booth next to us ordered breaded chicken, but revived grilled. The customer complained but did not receive a replacement. The cutlery was covered in water marks. My sisters pizza was burnt, my pizza was decent, my dads spaghetti was good but lacking sauce. We arrived around 8pm. Staff took several minutes to acknowledge and seat us. Once seated, it was too dark for me to read the menu with my contact lenses, but with my phone light, I could read it. Service was reasonably efficient after we were finally seated. Food was okay, I probably enjoyed it more because I was hungry, having skied in the Okanagan that day and only had a few light snacks in-between. Went for dinner for our friends birthday. Our friend tried to make a reservation for 25 two times yesterday and two times today only to be told, don't worry just walk in. After the group of us arrived we were told that they needed to clear tables and that we would be in shortly. 30 minutes had passed and they still made no attempt to clean tables and seat us. All 3 employees were standing behind the bar chatting. The restaurant was pretty much empty (there were 2 small tables of 2 people in the entire restaurant) but seeing As I've been a server for many years I know that sometimes things get busy or backed up and sometimes they need a little help so I asked for a cloth and went up and tried to help clear and clean the table so our group could sit. Instead of one of the servers coming and helping, she told the supervisor/manager what I was doing and he came up, scolded me for trying to help, told me it would get done and to just wait and escorted me away from the tables. I went outside to wait with my friends. 15 minutes later, they finally escorted the group to the tables. After everyone went in I stood outside to finish my smoke and noticed one of the guys in our group was leaving and the server that had got me in trouble for trying to help was also leaving.. I proceeded to ask my friend why he was leaving and he said him and the manager don't get along so he wanted to leave as to not cause any issues for our friends birthday. Within seconds of him saying this, the server turned around and went to the manager and proceeded to point at me and tell him we were threatening to harm him, even tho that wasn't the case. As I went to our table I told my husband that I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave and explained the situation. As I'm explaining, my husband looks towards the front to witness the server smiling and waving at us. We grabbed our things and left without another word. As we got into the parking lot, the same server decided to tell us what awful people we were, called us a bunch of names and profanities, jumped in her car and drove off. Now normally I would just let this stuff go but I was absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism by the staff. The fact that the manager allowed this to happen and allowed his staff to treat paying customers like this is absolutely appalling. I hope the owners of this establishment take what I'm saying very seriously. Hire better staff and when you do, train them properly. There was absolutely no reason for them to treat anyone this way let alone paying customers who did absolutely nothing to deserve it and when a group of 25+ call for a reservation, don't make them wait 45 minutes for u to "prepare" especially when there's 2 tables of 2 in the entire restaurant. Make sure its set up properly. Thats why people make reservations in the first place.. Do better. Treat people better. The behavior from the manager and staff was UNACCEPTABLE!!! I hope you learn from this situation and get your acts together quick. If this kind of behavior and lack of professionalism continues, I assure you your restaurant will close permanently.. read more

The wait was long, the food was cold (and bland), and we had to wait an hour and a half for somebody to refill our drinks. The staff here are lacking training and most are very unfriendly. The service is very, very slow and the food is sub par and exceedingly over priced. We have been a few times...once with a birthday party...there were eight people and we waited almost an hour for our food. When the food came two orders were incorrect and three people got no food at all. We were told the rest would be out in a bit...what?! We were there to eat together! We could not get a refill or some water to save our lives. I asked for a manager and told him what had happened and how displeased we all were. It's a Friday night and you're craving some cheesy bread and wings, what better place to get your fill of appiez than Boston Pizza. First time being to this specific location but I find they're all pretty consistent across the board when it comes to food and service. We were greeted and taken to a table in a reasonable time after entering, hostesses were talking for some time but no big deal. It was a little weird being seated at quite a large booth for only 2 but I'm not complaining as they give you a little more privacy and comfier experience overall. Waitress was very friendly and had a bubbly personality but she was moved to a different section shortly after taking our orders which threw us off a little because the guy who replaced her wasn't as personable. As I mentioned before I was craving a whole bunch of appetizers and tend to order the starting line up as it gives you a bit of everything. Asked to have the cactus chips made extra crispy which sadly were under cooked and covered in oil, as well the cheese on their garlic toast was rather cold. From my experiences with other locations the food quality was below what I normally receive when eating at Boston Pizza, and seeing previous reviews shows this is a constant issue. Honestly when it comes down to the price you can't go wrong but gonna have see if their pizzas are up to par because paying close to $30 for a large means it should be made with quality ingredients and not rushed when preparing. I come in with my mom constinetly and the service is always great! The hostess was super friendly and our server was extremely nice. Haven't ordered BP for about a year given anytime I would order take-out or delivery the meal would be missing a side or specifications for my order would be ignored. Mainly ordered due to specific dishes being a favourite, the Mediterranean Lasagna and the Grilled Chicken Clubhouse. The Mediterranean lasagna was my favourite but it was discontinued in order to add new dishes to the menu, and the toasted ciabatta bun on the Grilled Chicken Clubhouse dish, which in my opinion made the meal, was replaced with a soft tasteless bun. On numerous occasions, I would receive my order and it would be missing something. It might be the fries or cactus cuts, the cactus dip or garlic toast, it seemed to always be something. What was more disappointing was when the main dish would not include the ingredients specified on the menu. Something was always different. More times than not I would contact the restaurant to complain and a fresh order would be sent my way, sometimes with a complimentary dessert and an apology. The hostess was always courteous, apologetic and understanding. Today, more than a year has passed and I thought I would give it another shot. My oldest daughter strongly discouraged my choice, however my order was placed. The Parmesan Shrimp Alfredo with garlic toast for me and the Bugs n Cheese with french fries for my youngest. The order arrived, I paid the driver and I unpacked the meals. Missing the french fries that accompanied the bugs n cheese. The pasta dish was tasteless and dry. Did I call to complain? Honestly if there was a no star option I would choose that. Went there and we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Unprofessional staff at the front chatting. Finally got seated walked to our table, floors were a mess looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in years. There was 4 tables that hadn't been cleaned. Beer that was served to my husband was flat, waiter did not ask me if I wanted a refill on my ice tea, while waiting for our food I watched a waitress serve her what looked like underage friends a huge pitcher of sangria, she sat down with them WHILE she had customers eating and needing to be served AND tables needed to be cleaned. After our food was served I had to ask THE FOOD RUNNER for ketchup and a refill on my husbands drink and utensils. After he got his drink he did not ask me for a refill. He walked past us 4 times seeing our finished plates sitting there finally came up to us and had the audacity to ask "how's everything going" I said "just the bill thanks" he then went to go get the bill NOT taking our plates away. Came back to us and put the bill on the table once again not taking our plates and walked away to get payment from another table. I ate at this place about 2 months ago and usually I don't bother to write reviews, but the experience I had here was truly unforgettable. I would like to congratulate them on the 1 star review because of the young kid serving us was kind and welcoming. Otherwise I would give it a 5 . The food was probably the worst I've ever tried in the province of BC. I was trying to look for a picture of it but I think my phone couldn't take it and deleted it off of my camera roll. The "pasta" looked like soup. Tomatoes were cold.... though I've tried to erase these memories they come to haunt me. The food was way overpriced. I honestly feel I should be paid to give honest on how to make their food better. Even those drunk, high or hung over may not even find this food pleasing. My advice at the end of the day.... save your money and just eat Pizza Hut or McDonald's. Bless your brave souls of you decide to eat here after reading this. Went for dinner tonight and were in a group. The service was slow - the restaurant was basically empty - a reservation was made so they should have had staff to help. Undercooked food and zero apologies. At least they took it off the bill (which was at my request). No one asked if the meal was ok and no drink refills. My food was cold but I was hungry and wasn't going to complain. Three meals were completely missed in our party - totally forgot to cook them or put them in the order system. Drinks were forgotten, we had to request menus and ended up having to get them ourselves. We were all charged a 15% tip which I understand is normal in groups but I would normally tip 20%+ when service is great and less when its warranted. I have been here many times before and the service has been decent even when full and busy. Tonight, will likely be my last time at this store. I'll drive 20 minutes down the road next time I need my fill of BP. Sorry - empty restaurant and poor service - I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

I have ordered delivery from this Boston Pizza at least 4-5 times a month and always been satisfied. They had a manger name Crystal who was awesome and always took care of me. I always ordered the steak dinner. They usually said it was not recommended as it keeps cooking as it is getting delivered so I ordered it rare as I liked it medium rare and it was always perfect.Recently I phoned to order a steak and they told me that they did not deliver steaks anymore. I asked to speak to Crystal but was told she wasn't working there anymore. I spoke to the manager on duty and he basically told me that they didn't care that I had ordered it in the past. He was extremely rude and unprofessional I'm surprised that's what they have as a Manager he needs to be fired. I asked to speak to the owner and he said that they would call me back the next day. They never called me back. I haven't eaten there since and I don't eat at any other Boston Pizza anymore. I was spending several thousand a year at Boston Pizza but not anymore. They don't even deserve 1 star. Read all the other reviews this restaurant should be shut down These owners should be ashamed in running such a poor restaurant. read more

We were loolking forward to a friday nite meal at Boston Pizza. We arrived at 4:45 pm. We were greeted & seated very promptly. We waited a good 15 minutes & no one came with water or to take our drink orders. We noticed that staff was arriving at 5:00pm. There were very few in the restaurant at this time & the ones there were already enjoying their meals. A restaurant of this size should stagger their schedule to make sure there are enough staff on at all times. I know 5pm Friday is early but not everyone eats late & our dollar is just as good as any ones at any time !! We waited 5 more minutes & then got up & left. No one even noticed our departure. Bad bad service !! Another Chilliwack restaurant got our business & our food was at our table within 15 minutes of our arrival. Won't be back for a while . read more
