The AC was a little strong in there. The waitress was sweet and mellow, a good listener and attentive. The Quesadilla was a bit overcooked but still delicious. I was running errands at westmount the other day and decided I needed to try the food at Boston Pizza because I hadn't eaten at one of their locations in forever. I took a seat at the bar and went for my go to choice of a burger and fries. Specifically the maple bacon cheeseburger. The meal was pretty much average at best. The maple syrup in the sauce dominated the burger's flavor profile. Personally, I think the burger should always be the star of the show with everything else providing support. But no, this was pretty much a burger flavored maple sandwich instead of the other way around. The fries were decent enough, but really: how hard is it to eff up a french fry? The result is I think BP's food is only average at best and there are better places to eat in Edmonton that aren't part of a national chain. Go local, people!! read more

Boston Pizza is always awesome and always delicious!!! Tonight I shared a Caesar salad with my wife, and then ate a pepperoni pizza. Service was very good and professional, and fast as well. Seating is limited, due to covid, but it's still possible to enjoy the restaurant and foods. Great day to pop into BPs. Didn't realize the Oilers were playing so that was an added bonus to our wonderful food and service. We ordered the Tuscan pizza and found out you can do half periogy pizza and half Hawaiian (you can half almost any pizza except thin crust we were told) and beers and a peach margarita. This is a great Boston Pizza. Even though it is in the middle of a parking lot, they have a very nice patio with umbrellas, plants, and heaters. The staff here are always friendly and seem like they're having a great time. On our last visit, one of the servers told us that she was subbing in from a different location and loves when she gets to work at this one. To me, that speaks volumes. The menu is what you would expect from any BP location and they've always served high quality food. No soggy crust here! My pro-tip for any vegetarians is to order the spicy perogy pizza and ask to substitute the plant-based crumble for the bacon. Since it's a direct substitution, they've never charged me extra for it. Trust me on this: it is delicious. I'm also a big fan of the spinach & artichoke dip. I like that they serve it with pizza bread rather than standard chips. read more

An update. We went here with a party of 9 for a birthday dinner. You basically know what you're going to get when you go to BP. The pizza is really good. Get thin crust, less filling but same good taste. A few people had pasta and all was well. This location has ample parking. There's televisions all around. It's comfy. I was surprised you cannot get air miles anymore and there's no scene points. It just seems that for such a mainstream restaurant there would be some loyalty program. read more

Come here often, slots pay well have won about $15,000 and lost about 4000 over the last year. Food is pretty great, the meteor pizza is pretty is delicious.. Waitresses are pretty good in the lounge. They look exhausted most of the time but still manage to work a lot and do a pretty good job. read more

I only give 2 stars and that is for the staff only most of them are great friendly and welcoming. Indie the manager is absolutely fantastic I would give 5 stars if it was based on staff alone. The food is not good at all it's the most local bar lounge to us so we have given it a go a few times and I have never enjoyed a meal and I am in no way fussy! The bar is open and feels cold also at the bar counter there is an awful smell at times we have sat there a couple times. Sometimes the dishwasher soap they use can be tasted off the glass.. There are lots of improvements to be made I haven't gone back in months even tho it is out nearest local I have let my partner go alone as I just can not stand that smell at the counter and it is the only good place to sit as you can have interaction with the nice staff there!! Well, I'm going to up my stars for this Boston Pizza. Although it's still not my favorite BPs in the city, it's pretty good. The server we got this time was cute and bubbly. She even made a joke about my boyfriend's dad being messy. He didn't catch it but we both laughed so she got extra points for that. She was a great server. We weren't left sitting with dirty plates for very long. She did forget my boyfriend's coffee though. She brought him an empty mug and then left. It was a little weird. Consistency in food prep and consistency in the venue itself, as major changes can greatly affect not just my dining experience, but my overall health. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at this Boston Pizza location, and consider it to be one of the best in the city. What?!? Only two stars for the premier started in Edmonton franchise pizza joint? How dare I? Boston Pizza has ok mid price range food, it isn't fancy it is consistent everywhere you go though and today was no different. However, the place were the restaurant can excel is in service. This is what I didn't get today. Two of us arrived during the lunch rush today and got the last available table, we were waiting for our third person to join us. She was just about ten minutes behind us. This shouldn't be a problem, we can get our drinks chat and peruse the menu. After sitting there for about ten minutes the server shows up with the food we didn't order and says you guys haven't ordered yet have you? We said no we haven't. He said I will be right back and took the mystery food back to the kitchen. Our third party arrived and our server once again shows up to take our order (almost 15 minutes and I can now order a glass of water. We ordered our food too, I ordered an individual "meat overload". Slightly less than twenty minutes later our food arrived and my "chicken pesto" pizza was placed in front of me. My comment was "what is this? It isn't what I ordered." His reply "it is the chicken pesto pizza you ordered" I said "no I ordered the meat overload". He quickly disappeared into the kitchen and came back to tell me they would make me one right away. In the mean time I told the others to go ahead and eat. Just under 10 minutes later my food finally arrived. The server seemed to think that touching me on the shoulder every time he came back to the table would be his apology. Did a manager check to make sure everything was ok, nope. Did they offer to discount my meal, nope. Did they take my pop off the bill, nope. Did they take my money without a smile or a have a nice day, yup! Now, I didn't want a discount, I didn't want free pop or dessert, I just wanted to be acknowledged for the inconvenience. Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of Boston Pizza, I haven't been in years. Mostly just due to their lazy predictable food and poor beer selection. However, When the heck did they figure out how to do wings? They actually have a wide selection including new flavors such as: asian 5 spice and chipotle BBQ. HORRIBLE. i ordered the bacon wrapped steak, took the 1st bite, and what appeared to be "sauce " stared leaking. it is so dark in there i could see what it was. I wiped my mouth and put the steak piece on my napkin. i tried looking under the light to see what the " sauce " was, and it was BLOOD. BLOOD was leaking of the steak, it was pure red on the inside, despite the fact i wanted it well done. I called the waitress and asked why was it medium rare, mainly rare, and she said because the bacon would burn if they cook it to well done .... my question is: why not cook the steak first for a little it and then wrap it with bacon and finish the cooking ? it is disgusting to have the blood leak out of your mouth or on your napkin, especially when your preference is WELL DONE ! read more

We came here after an evening of skating, the resteraunt side wasn't busy at all as it was a little later. The manager Indie was our server, which I thought was neat as you don't see alot of managers serving their customers. He's fantastic! Always made sure we had refills, friendly he made the experience great! We got a medium pizza half deluxe & the other half rustic Italian! Used to order from here almost once a week. Even after we moved to a different neighbourhood we went back to this location because the closer one was bad. Never again. They haven't gotten even one of our orders right in the last five times. We've taken to asking for a manager just to place an order because the staff that answers the phone was always getting it wrong. Usually minor things but in the past two months they've fed me meat in my strictly vegetarian order three times. Were horrible about trying to resolve the situation too, said they'd deliver it but didn't know how long it would take. Didn't want to give me a refund, only store credit. Will literally never eat there again, and we were one of their most loyal customers. I even told them how seriously ill I could get as a result of eating meat, they couldn't care less. Worst. No complaints here. I've only been here to the lounge area for drinks with friends. And the variety seemed to suit our group. My wife and myself were at BP / Westmount yesterday and had wings, beer and a prime rib burger . The beer was good and the wings were presented in a nice fashion . But , that prime rib burger tasted more like a spam burger and ,we thought didn't taste like a burger at all ! My wife wouldn't eat it ! Can't anyone make a hamburger that actually resembles an old fashion hamburger that isn't so loaded with crap that it actually camouflages the meat in the burger ? I always choose this Boston pizza now for pick up as its the most consistent with the food quality. It doesn't burn my pizza and the service has always been good. Today I picked up my pizza and when I got home realized two of the toppings were missing. I called right away and told them about it and asked if they could deliver as I didn't want to run back there again. Without question he said he would send out another pizza and delivery would be about an hr. The pizza arrived fresh and with all the toppings on time. I showed him the other one to confirm and he let me keep both. By far the best customer service I've had from any Boston pizza with no hassle. Thanks! read more

I've been going to this BP's since 2008 and I have one word for the five star rating - Manager! The manager that runs this place has always been one of the best out of any resturant I've been too. He always smiles and if you let him he'll tell you a joke or two. When I first started going here it was always a hour before they closed and he would make sure I was taken care of, and my friend, until the very end. Even it meant past closing time. Now I go during normal supper hours but I still get awesome service from him and the staff. Love the food too so that helps. I never go in the bar much but it is a fair size with lots of room. read more

We received absolute CRAP service prior to the incident, which is why the server was ONLY getting 10%. If you put in the bare minimum effort, you get the bare minimum tip. Unfortunately, baby wipes really aren't suited to cleaning up vomit, and because she's a kid, it's not like vomit was expected. We requested cleaning materials, but weren't even given those. The benefit of the car, you can drive it home, where you have ACCESS to cleaning supplies. I've worked in the customer service industry for over 8 years, and the ATTITUDE presented at this location was unnacceptable. Obviously, you don't have children. Went there yesterday and was very disappointed. I've been to many BP's around town so I expected better. We went to the lounge and provided that it wasn't too busy in either the lounge or the dining area, we thought we would get our food at a decent time. We ordered our drinks, and we could see our waitress making the drinks and before she gave it to us, she was helping out others..AND she would go behind the bar counter and apply eye drops, scratch her face, her nose..it was very disturbing. We got our drinks and were ready to order but the waitress walked away and didn't ask us until we had to flag her down. I would understand if it was a busy night, but it wasn't. I asked her how long we would get our food, she said the kitchen is backed up. We paid for our drinks and left, and definitely not coming back to this location. It was GROSS seeing the waitress scratch her nose, apply eye drops and then serve us and other guests without hand washing. By the looks of it, not many of the other guests were impressed either. I ordered food for delivery for a friend and myself. I ordered a sandwich and fries, she ordered the rib and chicken wing meal. The food arrived in less than an hour and the delivery driver was friendly and polite. That's about the only positive thing about this experience. I ordered a Big Dipper sandwich which is supposed to come with Au Jus and io requested fries with it and ordered a side of gravy. When I went in the little foil bag to take out the containers of the Au Jus and the gravy, I didn't realize that the kids were not on them and half of the Au jus had spilled into the bag. When I reached my hand into the bag I got hot liquid all over my hand. Next, the sandwich was awful. The bread was soft and mushy and it was supposed to be crunchy and the inside of the bread was wet and soggy. There is supposed to be red peppers, sautéed onions and those little crunchy onion things. There was one tiny piece of red pepper in the entire sandwich, almost no sautéed onions and a sprinkle of those crunchy onions. It came with exactly 15 small French fries. My friend and I counted them. Exactly 14. What a joke. Had the gravy not spilled either, there wouldn't even have been enough fries to soak up even half the container of it. Cheap to the max. The fries were also Luke warm if that. My friend ordered vegetables with her meal, they were soggy and mushy with zero salt and pepper or seasoning of any kind. She compared it to eating flavourless baby food. The ribs were hard and dry, like they had been sitting. The fettuccine that came with her meal was bland and flavourless and there was no dipping sauce of any kind for the chicken wings. I called to speak to a manager and the guy that came on the y was rude, disrespectful and confrontational. We had him on speaker phone and we counted more than 8 times he interrupted me. I kept telling him to please let me speak and he kept interrupting. I told him he was being rude and he kept saying his staff are listening and know he's not rude. 1. His staff shouldn't be involved in a Manager's phone call. 2. His staff can only hear what he's saying, not what I'm saying. He offered me 50% off my meal only because we had eaten most of it. We did eat what wasn't thrown in the garbage because we are both diabetics and if anyone knows what it's like to be diabetic and starving, you'd eat just about anything. I told him we wanted a refund and he gave an excuse that they can't give refunds. I've never heard of a "no refund" policy in a restaurant in my life. We aren't refund seekers just out to have something and then get our money back. I don't usually take refunds or credits or freebies because I'm not that kind of person but this time I felt that's what should have been done. He kept going on about the 50%credit so finally we got fed up and said we were going to call head office tomorrow and just send some desert in place of the refund. He agreed to this and said it will arrive within 15 minutes. This manager or whatever he is brought the desert to us himself and when he arrived he wouldn't come to the door. He made us go to the main door because he couldn't be bothered to bring it to the door. He had his hands on his hips and was very confrontational and spoke in a rude tone of voice. He gave attitude to us and acted like we had done something wrong because the food his staff sent to us was garbage. When he finally left, we stayed outside for a couple of minutes and he sat in his car watching us. When he did drive away, he drove away very slowly and gave us very nasty looks. I had filled out a survey for head office for a manager to call us today. A different manager called me. He was very rude and abrasive from the moment I told him the story. He never apologized or took any responsibility on behalf of the restaurant he manages. He then proceeded to tell me that it's not true the containers didn't have lids because he put them on himself. I said to him, " So you're calling me a liar?" He said "Well, I put the lids on." I explained that maybe he put lids on but when it arrived to me there were no lids on so whether happened during delivery or there were no lids in the first place, there were no lids when it arrived to me. He continued to give me attitude and told me that I shouldn't order from there again and that is the solution. He did this in a very condescending and belittling manner. I told him I wanted his name so I could contact head office to inform them that one of their managers is calling customers liars. He gave me he his name and I told him that businesses like this ,run this way, don't succeed . The call ended. To sum it all up, the food is disgusting, bordering on inedible and the service well what service? Providing customer service means to treat customers with dignity and respect. None of which was shown to my friend or myself. If you want to waste your hard earned money on terrible food and appalling service, then eat here but I wouldn't recommend it. read more
