You can even find housewares here if you like vintage decor. I recommend this store to anyone coming from the city or out of state because it's the last vestige of the more wild and arty culture that used to thrive in Gloucester in the 70's thanks in part to the store owner himself. The place really should be a historical landmark because of how much it has improved the culture of Gloucester. There was (I'm sure it's gone by now!) a brand spank'n new coffee maker, neat stacks of jeans, generous racks of men's and women's clothing, rows of shoes and boots, and the cutest sets of colorful tableware. It doesn't stop there, though. The upstairs houses an incipient collection of home furnishings, anchored by a gorgeous over-stuffed upholstered chair and an antique bamboo table.
