Worthy Girl is my favorite consignment store in Beverly. They cater to a younger demographic and the clothes reflect that. I love how the clothes are organized by style and size here. I've been shopping here for years and always find cute stuff. The employees are always nice and helpful, and I like that there's dressing rooms to try everything on. Prices are more expensive than a thrift store (like Saver's) but that's to be expected. For pants I've paid $13-21. read more

I had to update my review just because Felicia is a fabulous manager of Worthy Girl and I loved her on IG Live, so I HAD to come in and meet her. She is great at sales and extremely personable. She helped me when I was trying on clothes and needed a second opinion, which makes shopping when alone SO HELPFUL! Worthy Girl has got some GREAT second-hand treasures. Their shop is super cute and filled with so many clothing + accessory options. They have 3 large fitting rooms and are more than happy to let you try before you buy, which is needed with all of the online ordering and nothing fits quite right. I've been here a handful of times, and I was told that they put out around 100-150 new items a day, so every time you come in, it's like coming into a new store. I've been lucky enough to find a few great additions to my wardrobe at more than half the price that they would cost brand new. I love this consignment shop and it's only right that a store as fabulous as this has taken the location of the old Casa De Moda building. They accept items that are in season only, understandably so. If you can't make it in, they do hold IG Lives for first dibs on the best new clothes. The staff is helpful, but the last 2 times I've been in, they have rejected 100% of the items I've brought in. They were cute items similar to what I saw on their racks, so not sure why they didn't take them. Their clothes are definitely on the younger side, and not too many items 12 or larger. read more

I have purchased everything from DVF, Zara, Vince, Anthropologie to JCrew at a fraction of the cost. For example, i've paid $15 for a brand new $200 dress! They are also a killer store to consign with! I drop off my items at least once a month and always have a credit to use when I shop. This is not your grandma's consignment shop. Pam offers everything from the dainty pinks and floral to the more grungy and edgy apparel. All of it super stylish and not tacky or cheap looking by any means. What would I describe that I like best about Plum Consignment? The deals I get when I shop here. I've bought items that cost $100+ retail (designer skirts, shoes, jackets) and paid 25% or less than the retail cost. All of the clothing she features in the shop is either new or almost untouched if worn by the previous owner. No smelly clothing, weird residue, or ripped pieces. The BEST store. Ever. Period. They have all shapes and sizes and styles!! The staff has AWESOME style and love to help you pick out outfits. Sometimes I buy the whole outfit off of the mannikins they just styled minutes ago (sorry lol). Prices are really fair, and the quality is always great. I even heard Pam say once on a virtual Instagram sale "I'm actually not going to sell this it has a stain" how TRUSTWORTHY?!? Amazing. Always looking out for her clients. I sell all of my clothes, bags, and shoes there and I've never felt more comfortable handing over valuable items to someone. They are extremely organized and always price fairly. They treat their buying customers and their consigning customers with respect and are very fair with there prices as well. As far as I'm concerned they are a class act and I will continue to consign and shop at worthy girl. After writing my initial review, I decided to go back to Plum since some time has passed after my first visit and I assumed that they would have more inventory as the store just opened when I visited, and yes there was a lot to choose from. Alot of very nice items, all in great shape, many of them appear as new without the new price. I decided to upgrade to 5 stars since the store now has a decent sized inventory all reasonably priced. The store is immaculate and spotless, with beautiful hardwood floors. The woman working there, whom I presume to be the owner, is very nice and friendly. They have VERY LARGE fitting rooms. I have been looking for a place to do consignment and found Worthy Girl on Yelp. I messaged them on IG to get info on the consignment process which they were quick to respond. I came in today with my clothes. When I walked in the staff member working there was friendly and knowledgable about the consignment process. While she went through my stuff, I looked around. They had a good variety of sizes and styles. High end and mall brands with everything on trend. I bought a sweater for a very reasonable price. One of my absolute favorite consignment shops! The first time I went in the shop I fell in love - even walking up to the shop - the logo/sign of Plum is unique and draws you in. The decor is great It's incredibly organized and clean. Nothing feels crowded - which is usually common in consignment shops. I also like that they carry accessories - used and new. They hold events and sales which are great (I got a blouse for $3 on memorial day) The employees/owner are all friendly and welcoming. I recommend this shop to anyone and everyone that will listen. What a wonderful shop. Easy to shop, organized by size and style (jeans, sweaters, active wear) I was in the area visiting for work and decided to stop in. The store is so cute and comfortable. They have name brand both low and high end. I was so happy with the prices since a lot of consignment shops tend to have really high prices. I Purchased a pair of Madewell jeans for $19.99, a brand new pair of gap denim jeans with tags for $19.99 I also purchased a Lou and gray cardigan for $11 and a Victoria's Secret pink long sleeve hoodie for $11. I will most definitely be back!! Madewell jeans normally retail for around $100-$135. All of the clothes were in great condition. I wish I could work at the store LOL that's how much I loved it. They had a decent selection of shoes and a great selection of handbags that are very fairly priced. I saw a leather Kate Spade bag for under $50! If you haven't been here you should go!!! read more

I've been to every consignment shop in the Salem/Beverly area with the majority of my wardrobe coming from consignment shops. Up until June they were all the same. Cramped, clothes everything, racks stuffed so full you can't even see what's hanging on them. It became exhausting just going into a store. When Plum Consignment opened in June, my consigning life changed forever! When you walk into Plum, you quickly realize that it's not like most consignment shops. Stepping through the door is like walking into an upscale boutique. It's spacious and airy, but with plenty of inventory. I've been in several times and each visit, I find that there is a lot of turnover, with lots of new items. And the prices can't be beat! I love Plum! Where else can you find a consignment store that has clothes for both a finicky teen and her Mom. The location is great for me, I can walk right in downtown Beverly. Pam has really designed the space well so that it is fun to browse. It is easy to find clothes since everything is so well laid out, clean and neat. I love the funky feel. Comfortable dressing rooms as well. I have also dropped off clothes and shoes (both mine and my daughters) and found it to be an easy professional process. This place is pretty neat! The first thing I noticed was the dog greeting me from the window, and although I'm allergic, he was a very friendly, calm dog since he was old. The clothes were all good quality, and there were many cute things in my size, which is unusual for me since I'm an extra small, and have had trouble finding smaller clothes in most consignment shops or thrift stores. The staff was friendly, but not overly friendly! There was also a display of neat accessories that had been handmade by a woman who came in to check out her finished setup. The changing rooms were very clean and had multiple hooks to hang clothing, and there was no limit on how many things you could bring in with you. The racks were all organized by type and size, and it was very easy to find what I wanted. The clothes were a bit expensive, but the price was worth the quality of the items and the cleanliness of the store. read more

I just made my first purchase from Plum and I love it! I got a brand new-with-tags zebra print dress for $14. The owner jumped through hoops to help me make the purchase after I "liked" the dress on Plum's Facebook page. I love how they update their Facebook page with some of the best latest finds and allow customers to set things aside. It's a very different shopping experience than most consignment stores - very personalized and shopper friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for really nice stuff that isn't ridiculously priced. This is a gem of a consignment store! It honestly feels more like a boutique because everything in there is in like-new condition, trendy brands and styles, and very well organized and displayed. The prices are just right, not too high even for designer items, very fair. I've consigned here many times, too, and they make it easy - you can drop off your in season stuff without an appointment and 40 percent of whatever sells is yours to use as credit (with a ten percent discount to boot) or you can get a check. If I'm looking for something special I will often go here before the mall and usually I find the perfect thing. LOVE thrift shopping and this is my favorite around! read more
