Amazing servers, great food, good prices! I believe Tina was our server. We just moved here from VA via Bend and just wanted a break from unpacking and contractors and dealing with move in stuff. It really would not have been the ambiance I was looking for in a (bar) but it really was great. People, even other diners, were so friendly and smiling it makes me feel like this is my type of place. I think they had barstools, like four, but if they had more this would be my "Cheers". I had the cobb salad(totally delish) we shared the Artichoke dip (the bread was great) and the hubs got fried seafood sticks- he's not a healthy eater, but we loved it all. We have been coming to Boston's for years. We have always had great service. Then we met Alicia!! She is hands down the best server EVER! She has taken care of us only a few times but remembers what we eat, drink. Her personality is what every server wishes they had. Alicia can read the table as soon as we sit. Comfortable neighborhood place for happy hour 3 to 6pm and 9pm to close, good variety of menu items. Welcoming, friendly, bustling staff including Jonny and Andy. I had a very substantial happy hour Cobb Salad for $8 (see photo) full of chicken, bacon, blue cheese and avocado. I've also previously enjoyed the crispy hot wings, breakfast items, and their huge burger dishes. Surprisingly busy on a Sunday at 10pm, with some people milling around the slot machines, others around the bar, and the remainder enjoying their food. Noise can be quite high in bar with talking and pleasant music (The Cars, Grateful Dead, Van Morrison), but the dining / grill room is fairly quiet. Bad service from the older server with short black hair. She was very rude from the moment we sat down.

The bartender is rude. He would answer the phone each time we ordered a drink and talk in the middle of our order. He has an attitude and he's not friendly. Maybe he was just having a bad day but unfortunately with customer service or not allowed ! I would never go back and it's tooo bad because the food is amazing! read more

The place was very busy. It was easy to get a seat though, as there are a lot of choices! We got a booth right away. They serve dinner later than other places! The staff were extremely friendly and very happy go lucky. The drinks were good, nice n strong! The steaks lacked a little flavor, but were cooked to perfection, which made up for it!!! Boston's breakfast does not disappoint! I tried the French toast breakfast sandwich and my other half had the salmon Benedict (phone did not eat first for him, he couldn't wait!) and we did not have anything left on our plates! The one thing I would say is I wish the Bloody Mary had a pickle or bacon to add Our server was busy but made sure to give us incredible service! We've been here twice so far. Staff is nice. Lots of seating. It's a pub, so it's a bit dark. The place is divided into 2 sections. The larger seating area is for 21 and over, while the smaller seating area is for parties with minors. There's also outdoor seating as well. If you want tater tots then this is the place to hit up. My sister ordered a whole plate of them. Their food is pretty good. Burgers, sandwiches and steaks were yummie. Nice place to hit after visiting Bullwinkles. read more

I was so excited they had many things on the menu that I like and happy hour 3-6 and 9-close for a lot of appetizer items. Our server, Madeline was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There's nothing compelling that would make me come here specifically, but if friends wanted to meet up here, there's no reason not to. ‍ Service has always been good, and the fries are the star of the show. First of all you must know i love pubs... i love little ma and pa places.... this is no different. Bathrooms are well used but it's a pub. So... yeah... The Happy Hour is 4-7 pm and it's a pretty darn good selection. Since we were here during this time we decided to just get a bunch of HH things and share them. My HH dirty Shirley was only $5... that's pretty darn good! And it was delicious. We got the cobb salad, chicken Caesar salad, clam strips with cheesy fries, halibut sliders, and 5 individual wings since they are hand breaded with the fresh chicken but not the crispy hot wings in HH... and then added Spinach Artichoke dip later... the server recommended it. Why not try everything?? Lol Clam strips were not their normal strips but my dad loved them. The cheesy fries that came with them were fantastic. Super thick and hand cut which i normally do NOT prefer... but these were good! Dad liked the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly and were very crispy good sized too not just the drumette kind. The halibut slides were yummy!!! Halibut is hand cut and battered here... it was cooked perfectly.. these sliders were very yummy. The bread to halibut ratio was off but i just take the bread off... so good. The HH Cobb and Caesar salads were very very good. Small but hey it was a good price. The toppings were generous and the dressings were good. The spinach artichoke dip is homemade and also very good. The portion was generous particularly for HH. It comes with chips AND grilled bread. Good addition. The HH drink was a generous pour. Enough said. The server, Madeline, was great and tried to find ways to help us try a bunch without ordering everything five times. Great local place with good food. The burgers are excellent. They make their own chips, so if you are torn between them and fries, get the chips. Others in my family love the crispy chicken wrap. It was a staple for them during the lockdowns. Staff are always friendly. The interior is ok, nothing special. Their is a full bar, always with a sprinkle of locals. read more

This place should be in Diner, Drive-in's and Dives!!! The food was great! The server was so nice, thorough, welcoming and friendly. We were not sure what to order going in but placed our order and were very pleased with all of the things brought our way. We ordered the cheesy fries unsure what to expect and WOW we were very happy with the cheesy deliciousness. Fries are made in-house not from frozen. Ranch made in house which we were extremely pleased with. They were out of the pastrami so hubby was a lil sad about that but he settled on the chicken cordon bleu and it was ok. I had a western burger. Both came with housemade chips that were again another tasty surprise. Again you get our vote for DDD~ somebody call Guy Fierri ASAP. Great spot right off the freeway. The food was great and the patio was perfectly shaded at noon. Only draw back, it's a seat yourself, which means when it's busy, it's hard for the servers to know who was waiting first. Food is great, service is mediocre and the pricing structure is seriously flawed. I used to come to this place 2 - 3 times a week and order the same thing every time. Every time I paid the price was different. This is a serious issue in my opinion. The amount is not the issue as much as the pricing consistency. The last time I went the cook looked at the total and said "this is not enough gravy is expensive." They charged me $8 for a large gravy, $3 more then i had paid the previous 20 times i visited. The waitress even said that it was more then i paid and the cook just turned around with attitude and when asked why I was being up charged I was ignored. This was the last time I was there and even though the food is good the experience has been ruined for me. Every item sold should be a set price in the POS and I should be charged the same every single time. read more

Classic dive bar in the burbs. They have it all! Friendly staff, great drinks and delicious food. I went for Sunday brunch to start my day right. I ordered a Bloody Mary, beer and the famous chicken plate. The 2 piece alone was a ton of food. Fries were battered and perfectly crispy. I had ranch and bbq sauces on the side which balanced out well together. When I'm in this area again I'll be back. I want to try one of the hefty sandwiches. Cheers! read more

Service was top notch! Jonathan was knowledgeable about the menu and was also our bartender. Drinks were yumm! Now the food. Chicken was awful, way over cooked and dry AF. I imagine a little Caucasian 80 year old lady named Betty who's allergic to seasoning in back afraid she'll undercook the chicken at the fryer. Hubby had the Boston Burger. The bun and veggies were fresh and good, but alas the burger was dry, thin and without seasoning. The shining star was our fries and the e cocktails! Side-note, it's called Boston's...I imagined some East Coast vibes: clambake? Lobster roll? Lobster Mac? Crème pie for dessert? Cannoli? A week long chowder special? Guinness roast? My husband and I came here for the first time a few days ago based on the recommendations here, and they were spot on. We walked in, and a table of what appeared to be older regulars greeted us as if they knew us. It was great...kinda like Cheers. We ordered steak, eggs, and potatoes for my husband, and he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were absolutely amazing, full of flavor. I had blackened salmon Ceasars salad, which is not on the menu as blackened, but I love spices, and they easily accommodated me. So delicious and HUGE! Our server was so friendly and nice, and we never felt neglected or rushed. All in all, we will definitely be back as the food, atmosphere, and staff were awesome read more
