I'm 32 weeks pregnant, a tube of croissants dropped out of my cart, it exploded, and no one helped me pick it up. I asked the bag lady if she could run and grab another for me and she looks at me and says "you can grab it yourself it's on aisle (whatever aisle is the biscuits and stuff I forget.) THEN I asked her not to bag the bags too heavy because obviously I'm VERY PREGNANT. And she's stuffing stuff into the bags at the end. I go to make sure they're not heavy before I leave and sure enough, some of them are too heavy for me to pick up. The only plus is the nice lady I asked for help. She helped me fix the bags and get them to my car. I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm overwhelmed. I love Fred Meyer but now I don't want to go back.

Not only was the "hot food" breakfast sandwich a better deal than the cold one, but it also looked more appealing! It had an herb biscuit, bacon, egg, and cheese; perfect for the morning. They also have a lovely produce section! I got a banana that was pretty good as bananas go.

When I walked in, the first thing that I noticed was the extensive bakery. In the bakery, there's a massive cookie dough case. I have never seen anything like this before. I think if I lived here. I would be a cookie addict. The pastries all look very wonderful and there was a huge selection. I came later in the afternoon, so most of it was sold out, but I can't even imagine in the morning when it's bustling with new bakes. The rest of this market was very clean and organized. All produce looked very fresh. The woman at the cookie counter was so nice and chatty with me on the cookie dough they offered. Love this type of wonderful service. We stayed out of the middle aisles, shopping on the edges. The last time we were in, the original sushi people were gone, replaced by some run of the mill contractor with fishy tasting garbage. This time, prices were unbelievable. We all know that Covid affected the supply chain and things got expensive. The supply chain has been fine for awhile, yet everything is ridiculously expensive. I am not poor. I think I have a relatively decent income. When I mentioned that I was likely to stop including this store as a regular option, I was met with death stares. Seriously? We were followed to our car and asked to not come back. Seriously? I actually went back inside and took photos of the staff running away from me. We weren't violent. We didn't cuss. We weren't loud. We just called you out for being a money-hungry conglomerate charging as much as the richest customer will pay. You should be ashamed at how exclusionary your store really is. Told him, he had given me someone else order and I told him this is not my order. He said, I have to pickup my son, he left telling me to keep the food. Problem I had with him, he doesn't speak or understand English. I reported him to Instacart Customer service.

It's located in a fairly large complex, so there's plenty of space for everyone even when it's busy. I came here because I had a brow tint appointment next door at The Lash Lounge and had some extra time to kill before and after, so I figured I'd wander through and check it out. I really liked this QFC, it's noticeably bigger than a lot of the other locations I've been to, with wide aisles and a solid selection across the board. It never felt cramped or crowded even while browsing around, which made the whole experience pretty relaxed. Overall a really solid grocery store, and it's nice knowing there's one this spacious right next to other spots I already visit. I'd definitely come back, especially if I'm already in the area running errands.

On my most recent visit to the QFC in Bothell in the Canyon Park shopping center/area, today Friday…read more17 November 2023, I came in and decided to go with a bakery item after doing a quick look through of the deli items and seeing the hot food was not yet out for the day. The bakery had a number of cake items by the slice and by the cake. In one of the baked good areas, I noticed boxes labeled for macaron (French cookie) pops (like a cake pop only with a macaron). There were a couple different color/flavor combinations available and I decided on the Meyer lemon macaron pops with pink frosting (like a pink lemonade of sorts). Self check out moved quickly and I was soon on my way with my item. Eating the macaron pops, the Meyer lemon flavor was strong and the frosting perfectly sweet. The item was texturally enjoyable and not hard/stale. It is a repeat item for me. The parking lot was large and the front of the store has been redone compared to what it was approximately 10 to 15 years ago. While busy, there were parking spots available.

I have been a customer of Town & Country for many years, and this was a deeply disappointing and…read morehumiliating experience. A security guard followed me inside the store and confronted me to ask whether my dog was a service dog, even though the dog was clearly wearing a vest that says "PTSD SERVICE DOG." He also told me that the dog was not allowed in that area, openly questioning my right to remain there in a public establishment. Additionally, he asked questions that went beyond what is legally permitted, including questioning my disability--something a security guard is not allowed to ask. What was most alarming is that, minutes later, another person entered with a dog without any identification, and no questions were asked at all. The difference in treatment was obvious. As a longtime customer, I felt singled out and treated differently--an experience that came across as discriminatory and racist. No one should have to go through something like this while simply shopping :-(
