Every issue has been addressed thoroughly and correctly the first time. When my previous vehicle developed engine problems (now part of a class action lawsuit due to faulty cylinders), Mark and Jared explained that while they could replace the engine, they didn't recommend it. They were upfront about the risk that a replacement engine might suffer from the same defect and could fail again in as little as 5,000 or as many as 50,000 miles. I have an older Cadillac Escalade that was leaking oil like a sieve. Was so embarrassed as I could not park it in anybody's driveway knowing it leaked oil. I had let my car sit for a year during the pandemic because I simply didn't need it. After replacing the battery and pumping up the tires myself, I wanted to take it in for an oil and fluid change and to also make sure it was running okay and nothing was messed up from lack of use. Bothell Way Garage took my car in and gave it a thorough inspection. It came out with a clean bill of health! It would have been so easy to just add something, anything, as a "must fix", but this shop didn't do so. They gave me a nice price for the inspection and oil change as well. They did let me know one early maintenance item that I could do while it was in the shop, but emphasized that it was currently optional and could wait until later. I had them take care of it while it was in just for the peace of mind. It's been a couple of months since then and the car is running well! So looks like they didn't miss anything. This was the best experience I've ever had at a repair shop, no doubt. I pulled up with what I thought was a blown alternator, and Mark let me know that they're booked until July 8th (I came on on June 22nd) - but after talking for a moment he decided he would just do the repairs for me! He tossed me the loaner car keys immediately and said something to the effect of "don't break it." Hahaha He got to work immediately and found it was something else, just the contacts on the battery were loose. So he was only going to charge $50 for new contacts and labor. But since he also did a full inspection, I decided to get everything I needed. He replaced my spark plugs, pvc valve, brakes and rotors, air cabin, and a few other minor things for about $1050, very fair price, especially considering I got my car back by noon the next day (had to wait on parts). You should take your car here for repairs, they're total professionals in an industry where I've only seen people who didn't want to be there. I recently took my van to the auto shop to check out a small noise that showed up at cold start but disappeared after warm-up. I was impressed by the excellent service I received, particularly the service advisor at the front desk Jarod who was very friendly, knowledgeable and down-to-earth. I left my van at the shop on a cold day and they did a thorough check the second day and even test-drove it. They honestly told me there was no problem and they couldn't reproduce the noise. They didn't even charge me a penny for the inspection! They also gave me a list of recommendations to fix for a van at 110K mileage. I've now taken my 1972 Chevy Truck to Bothell Way Garage twice. The first time was for a post-purchase inspection where the guys did a complete vehicle inspection and handled a bunch of items to get my truck running great. The price was fair and everything was completed within just a couple of days. The second time around was for the installation of a new heat and ac system which took a lot of time and refabricating of the cab and glove box areas. Bob was great about keeping me updated on the progress of the job and being patient about answering my non mechanic guy dumb questions as the project came along and concluded. Avoid this shop if you care about the safety of you and your family. I replaced my tires here a couple years ago and everything had seemed good until a week ago that I got a flat tire right after a freeway driving (so lucky!!). After checking the tire I was shocked to find a few large cracks on the sidewall of the tire. The tires still had good tread depth and appeared having several more years to go. Accidentally I noted that the tire was mounted backwards, with the side being supposed to face inside facing outwards. So I checked the other 3 tires and found that another one was also mounted in the same wrong way. It seemed that they randomly mounted the tires to the wheels, not knowing that the tires are asymmetrical. These two "backwards" tires showed numerous little cracks but the two correctly mounted ones had none. So it seemed clearly that it was their fault that had led to the premature failure of the 2 tires. "It was such a stupidity", as my tire tech called the unprofessional mounting. See pictures. Even worse they did not respond to my messages at all. Since we have moved away from Bothell area, I decided that it is not worth the time and energy to argue with them about the issue, instead with an honest online review. These "mechanics" did not care about the quality of their job and lacked necessary knowledge about cars. I just wondered where their good online review come from?? This is the worst experience I had while repairing my BMW for a simple oil leak. To begin with they charged me $1200 to fix oil leak. The fix didnt work from day 1. They kept delaying the fix for actual root cause. My garage floor has oil leaks all over place. Its been couple of months back n forth and they are conveniently blaming some other part for oil leaks and asking for $1100 more Never heard of $2300 for an oil leak.
