Car repair is never fun. It never feels good to spend a lot of money to fix your car. I did find that they got me in faster than other repair shops were offering which is why I chose them. I was renting a vehicle while this was being repaired and my only complaint was that the expected date of repair kept moving out. They used to be 5 star. Just had the Honda brakes redone after 4 years. My new mechanic observed that the pads were low quality, the springs holding the pads apart were never put back. And we had even gone back twice to make the brakes function safely. My truck brakes were messed up after Kenmore worked on them. It's sad to see a formerly great shop go downhill. Hope they can put the brakes on that. read more

I accidentally dropped my keys into my motor when I had the hood open. Of course they fell and wedged into a crevice there was no way I could reach. I stopped by and they got out their handy snake tool and fished them out in about 5 minutes no charge. I've been going here awhile with my vehicle for service/repairs, but it is nice we have a neighborhood shop that can help you out of silly jams too. read more

Later there was an issue with the flywheel that got installed (not their fault!), and they stood by their work, replacing it at no charge. The young guy at the front desk scheduled me for a tune up. He said $253 out the door. I said great. Schedule me. I bring my car, 04 Jetta. He calls later in the morning. I asked please quote me for shocks too. Later he calls and says the car is done. I get there. What had they done? Checked my oil and spark plugs and quoted me for a tune up. Sheesh. I had scheduled 2 rides to drop off and return. They charged $65 and didn't do squat. I had hopes but if they can't schedule you properly ... They wasted my time. Now I'll look elsewhere. read more

Had a good experience. Needed an oil change and they gave me new wipers (I know I could have gotten them from anywhere and installed myself) but they were $10 + tax. It's right by Jack in the box if you get hungry. Inside, the place has seating for just a couple of people, so I'm sure they are used to drop offs perhaps. Labor was cheaper than parts which was interesteing. Good job They vacuumed my floor for me - awesome, been lazy to do that. read more

Poor communications. You can request appointments as their website instructs, or email them at the address they say to contact them at, and my experience is that the chance of any response or reply from them is less than 50/50. Either call (sometimes) or show up in-person if you need service. I wouldn't think that is most efficient for them, but it's the only way to ensure that you can get your vehicle done. read more

Fast service and reasonable pricing. Very honest, I've been going to kenmore automotive since they replaced my radiater. When progressive let me down and tried to replace my radiater with a used one, kenmore automotive fought on my behalf and had them replace the radiater with a brand new one, by the way, this was a replacement radiater for the leaking radiater prograssive just replaced. If it wasn't for kenmore automotive I would have gone through two used radiaters in less then a year! read more

I've been taking my cars here for service and repair since I moved to the area back in 2005. They've kept my 94 Infiniti G20 running smoothly to this day and it's now pushing 220k miles. They've replaced and repaired all sorts of things on my G20 including the brakes, the fan blower, sensors, engine mounts, the alternator, the starter, and probably even more that I'm forgetting. In addition to the quality repairs, I've never felt like I've been taking advantage of and they are never pushy. If it's not necessary, it's not done. If it's a safety hazard, they fit you in to their very busy schedule ASAP. I've also done research in to pricing on many of the repairs done on my vehicle and the pricing is always within the range for the cost of repair and never over. I took my car to Kenmore Automotive to get my serpentine belt, timing belt, and water pump replaced on my Honda Accord. They were amazing. We scheduled a date in advance, and on that day I dropped my car off at 8:00 am and picked it back up at 4:30 pm. The cost was exactly what I was told it would be, everyone I worked with was very helpful, and there was no BS of trying to sell me fixes I don't really need. And the price was very reasonable. On top of that, they vacuumed my car floor, which is never really something I expect to happen, but is a surprise when I find it. They are honest, provide excellent service and very competitive on their pricing. They were able to get me in on short order and fix my issues both times while saving me money. I called and made an appointment with Spencer and he was really pleasant to talk to on the phone and helped me get in as soon as my schedule would allow me. Came in and Spencer was still just as nice. I sat and waited for my repair and it only took them about a half hour (they started working on it immediately) and Sean was incredible! Loved the service I received. Very professional and competent. I had my front brake pads and calipers replaced. They were efficient with my time and explained the work that needed to be done. Prices were reasonable. They even came and picked me up after service was done. About a month after the service had been done my brakes were making a squealing sound again. Turned out my back brakes were making the noise. I brought in my car and they checked/cleaned back brakes free of charge.
