I am now on my 2nd Bottega bag and I think I'm a Bottega girlie . I love their selection, we have always found the salespeople here to be very friendly and helpful. In fact, this last visit I walked in with one bag in mind and went home with something completely but pleasantly unexpected. I would love to branch out and buy more than a bag here next. Had such and amazing experience here! Jasmine is the absolute best!!! She greeted us as soon as we walked in and was so helpful. This store is beautiful and has more stock than any other location I have seen (I believe it's the flagship store). It looks amazing inside. I wanted to see a bag in a color they did not have and Jasmine had someone bring the bag in that color over for me from a warehouse within 30 minutes! I ended up deciding to go with a different color after comparing it with a bag I had looked at in the store. She opened two different bags that were box fresh so I could pick the perfect one! I live in the Bay Area but I plan to come back to this store to see Jasmine for my next purchase when I'm in town! Thank you to Jasmine and to the store for such a great experience! I am still in shock of the staffs behavior! I have been shopping on Rodeo Drive for years, and I never had such an ugly experience. In contrary, every store there has extremely nice staff, warm welcome and they are helpful, making shopping a beautiful and exciting experience. In contrary, the staff at Bottega Veneta on Rodeo Drive was snobby and rude. First, I entered the store, three sellers were talking together at the end of the first room, no one came to welcome me or even care to ask if I needed help, which I clearly needed. I said Hi first, smiled to them and walked to the group of which seemed to be the store staffs, when finally Jasmine, one of the sellers, decided to walk towards me looking very annoyed. I came to the store, after being advised to do so twice over the phone via the customer service to fix an issue on one of my favorite bags from Bottega Veneta. As for every purse I own, I take highly care of each bag I have and carefully keep them in a closet with their dust-bag. Although, I do care a lot to my keep my purse in a great shape, the bag has clearly a leather defect that need to be fixed. While, I was explaining this issue to Jasmine, hoping for help to fix this. She extremely rudely behaved towards me! She started intimidated me while accusing that I have caused the damages on the leather probably getting the bag wet! As I told her, I didn't get the bag wet because first, I live in Los Angeles, and fortunately there is no much rain in this area of California. Second, this bag is a bag that I find to be more suited for summer because of its color. So even, it might rain sometimes in LA during the winter, I do not wear this bag during this period of time or even more on a rainy day as it is clearly not suitable. Of course, she didn't have to believe me, but she could and anyone else who would see the bag from the inside or outside that this bag did not get wet (also because the suede leather would have been stiff and brittle if it got wet, which mine does not!) and is in a great condition if not the leather unsticking itself. After she accused me of being the cause of the damage, and had a very nasty attitude towards me, saying that she would not get me a new bag which I never asked for, but just to be repaired, she also told me that I would have to pay for this bag defect even the Bottega Veneta bags are supposed to have a lifetime warranty! I understand, if the problem was caused by me and I would have accepted the charge, but in this case, it wasn't and this expensive, luxury bag should be under warranty. She just decided to be very rude, aggressive and unhelpful. I decided to take the bag back with me as even I want to fix it, I didn't feel comfortable and in a trusted environment to do so. She told me the manager would call me, but of course no one did! I still thanked her for the help, and decided to leave. She did not say goodbye and while leaving the store there was another staff person, an older lady that I looked in the eyes hopping for a goodbye at least! But turned her face on the other side and did not say a word! The only educated employee in this store was the security guard, who welcomed me and politely behaved saying goodbye. At least! I would not recommend to anyone to shop the brand in this particular store ever, and definitely would never step a foot in it again. read more

After just a little browsing (had a pretty good idea of what I wanted), I left with a beautiful wallet. PS, the smell is beyond, just beyond. Received an item from here over the holidays, tried to exchange second week of January and they said it was outside of the return window. That's less than 30 days! For an item that is thousands of dollars? Yikes. I'll just resell it. read more

Went to buy a new bag and possibly shoes. Was asked to scan my temperature at my forehead which I politely declined and said I would take a wrist temp instead - was refused and told that it was mandatory to scan my 'brain' for my temperature. Came here on vacation while looking for a wallet and I had never previously owned anything from Bottega. I did not plan on coming here so I was pretty much dressed in workout clothes but I only had to wait a moment outside and they let me in very quickly because there was a line. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but I was met with a client advisor right away but unfortunately I don't remember his name but he was helpful in showing me some options regarding what I had wanted. I wanted something small because I have bigger wallets from other brands so he showed me some pocket organizers and their smaller sized wallets in various color ways. I did not once feel judged even though I was not dressed up whatsoever and I'm also a young client. I decided upon a dark brown pocket organized because it was slim, held everything I needed it to and felt nicely in my pocket. He had it wrapped up for me and I was in and out quickly. I really like the product I've almost had it a year now and it still somewhat smells like new leather, it's extremely durable, there has not been any color changes and the quality feels so good, I prefer it over my Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Off-White. I'd highly recommend this location if it's not too busy as a huge line formed outside when I was leaving. read more

Why do I love BOTTEGA VENETA? Other than the fact that their buttery-soft leather in woven patterns remind me of my heritage (i'm Filipino), the staff here have ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS made me feel welcome. A former employee was my go-to shopper for items that he knew fit my taste. Here's the cool thing: When he left, he assigned me to Annie K, who has taken THE EXTRA STEP of emailing me for a meeting, so she could go over my preferences and what I tend to look for. Fast forward to my awesome shopping experience this morning, where I purchased myself a pre-birthday man-bag. While I was at it, I figured why not FINALLY set up a birthday registry (I've joked about it before, thought I'd make it a reality this year). With that plan, I didn't just have Annie helping me, I had Catherine assist in looking for various pieces that fit my taste and varied in price range. Oh BV. How ridiculously baller are your weaved leather goods. If you have the money, then this is where you'll go for your stuff. Don't mind the walk on the way down Rodeo, cause the payoff is greater than the walk there. The store itself isn't tremendously big compared to all the other stores on Rodeo, but it gets its job done. The staff here is pretty friendly, but one of the sales associates didn't really know what she was talking about. She said that they did not make a certain coloration in the zip wallet style, but when we called the Costa Mesa location, they had it in stock. First time that's happened to me, so I'll give her a pass. Nonetheless, you should know your own goods. Aside from that, the service is pretty damn good, considering the average cost for all the things here is higher than the usual brands (LV, Prada). read more

I've been hitting up this store for almost 10 years now. They recently moved from the north end of Rodeo Dr. to a couple blocks south into a bigger and more modern space with light wood floors and Venetian plaster. Pretty serious upgrade from the dark and smaller space they had before. One of the things I've always really liked about this store is how friendly everyone is. You can walk in, check out some serious $$$$ items, and it just completely lacks pretense and there's never any pressure. I've had days where I bought nothing or left with a small key-chain and days where I've dropped serious cash on a bag and the treatment is stellar every time. The staff here don't just remember your face, they remember your name, style preferences, everything. I hadn't been here in a few months and was still recognized immediately and given a tour of the new store by Robb, my go-to guy (hit him up, he's super awesome). read more

People misjudge this italian brand a lot because of its simplicity, it doesnt show off the brand label on the outer leather and it is expensive! If you don't own a BV(Bottega Veneta) yourself, then you dont really know what you are talking about. I personally love BV primarily because it is ULTRA light weight!!!! Im a mother of two small kids and carrying my BV purse is a breeze! It doesnt add a burden to my shoulders. I can carry the purse all day and stuff it and still, it wont give me any redness on my shoulders. The staff at BV Rodeo are so friendly too. One of my favorite stores at Rodeo. read more

I recently bought two coats here and worked with West and Christy. Both were super great to work with and made my experience very pleasant and welcoming. I like that throughout my entire experience, I never felt pressured to purchase anything and both encouraged me to try different styles. One of the coats I eventually purchased was shipped in from another store and West kept me up to date on when it came in. West also texted me immediately when all alterations were complete. They also have a few parking spaces in the back of the store which is great! read more

this is my least favorite of all italian labels....i especially hate their women's purses (that look like woven baskets made out of brown leather- k'mon, u know what i'm talking about) &shoes....but i did reluctantly (very reluctantly) have to get a belt&purse for someone as their birthday present a while ago, which they later returned for cash value (which u can do at a lot of higher retail places) &got something entirely different, which i KNEW they would do.....anyway, end of story. read more

If you ever need a perfect bag for you, I would personally trust her recommendations. The staff are very accommodating. They will be there to answer any questions or accommodating repairs. I love BV because the brand stands for reliability, if there is something wrong with the bag the boutique will do their best for you.
