Terrible experience. This store held my Louis Vuitton bag for months. Charged me $500 and replaced interior with low quality leather that did not match original finish. Added stiff cardboard interior which had to be removed after complaint on first attempt to pick up after months of waiting. Also added exposed metal under handles and after 2 attempts of me asking for them to be removed, he finally handed me my bag months, after multiple visits attempting to pick up, with the handle ripped and the metal still intact and visible (which he did not remove). Absolutely regret bringing a Louis Vuitton bag here and expecting professional service despite it the stores 90210 address. I would have had much better experience taking the bag to Louis Vuitton and waiting for them to do the repair. It took months for me to get my bag back and now that a non-Louis Vuitton repair has been done I cannot even have LV repair it properly. This is my first ever time leaving a negative review, but I hope to spare someone else this type of unprofessional sub par experience. read more

Loved how the embossed monogram turned out! Monograms add such a nice personalized touch to gifts. I called several places to get this leather duffle embossed and this was the only shop in the LA vicinity (does no one emboss leather anymore??). For this type of leather and 3 letters, he charged $35 which is reasonable. And he helped me choose the placing and color and was really nice about it. Even though store hours said they close at 4pm on Saturday and I arrived past 3:30pm, the older gentleman (I assume is the store owner) still helped me. I'll echo everyone else on here who has had a negative repair or restoration experience. I dropped off a vintage Gucci folio case that belonged to my grandmother and I wanted to have it restored to its former luster. I dropped it off at the end of December 2016 and Coco?? (is that his name?) told me it might not be able to be restored...it would be early January, likely the 16th or so, and it would cost $80. Great. I'm in no particular rush and it's worth the gamble to see if it can be brought back to life. So January rolls around but I'm busy and I forget about this until end of the month. Hmmm...shouldn't I have been called to pick up my grandmother's folio by now? So I stop in. Coco sounds like he's forgotten all about it. He looks up the picture of the item he took and says something like "Oh, uh, It will be here tomorrow" he says. So I call the next day and it's still not in. At this point I'm a little miffed and starting to worry he's lost it or something. He assures me that I'll have it tomorrow and he'll messenger it over to my office. The next day, Fedex delivers it...but it looks like nothing has been done to it. The water stain I specifically asked him to remove was still there. WTF? So I call him and he gives me a bunch of BS about how it couldn't be restored...blah blah blah. He tells me to forget about the $80, like he's doing me some huge favor or something. So the next day I take it to the boys at Shoe Lab on Charleville Blvd and S. Beverly Drive. Can it be restored? Yes. How much? $100. When can I pick it up? 2 days...and it looks brand spanking new! This guy might be a Rimowa whisperer but a leather expert he is not. I didn't appreciate him wasting my time and causing me undue stress. I didn't give him one star because he didn't lose the piece. I took my Rimowa Topaz luggage in after last years travel of 100,000 miles hoping to have a single lock that was broken fixed. I had not noticed the extensive damage other than the lock not working. Apparently the frame was bent and I had lost a rivet in the corner protection. Coco had removed the dents, straightened the frame, replaced the lost rivet and replaced both locks on my luggage within an hours time. I was almost hesitant to go here due to the negative reviews but didn't want to drive 30 miles to another Rimowa authorized repair shop in case I needed to leave the luggage there. I'm glad that I didn't go to the other repair shop. Coco handled my warranty repair well. I highly recommend going directly to the shop with your Rimowa luggage for any Rimowa luggage repairs. read more
