They are full of the aloha spirit, super friendly, and helpful. Make you feel right at home. I really like that they have a variety of items that are wearable not only if you're visiting Hawaii on vacation but also things that you can take back home especially if you live in California or have a coastal beach style. Their jewelry selection is so cute lots of little island themed type jewelry that is sophisticated and dainty and not overly priced at all - very affordable. They also get new inventory quite often so it's great to be able to check them out if you're staying for a longer period of time to see if they have new items or if you're like me you may just be tempted to go back to make another purchase. Mahalo for the aloha Mahina!

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!…read more It's unfortunate because our experience started off so well. Around 9:30 a.m., I found a really cute dress that I decided to wear for dinner. The girl who checked us out was incredibly kind and helpful, so I want to be very clear that this review is not about her. She was wonderful. During checkout, she told us we had 14 days to return the dress if we decided we didn't like it, so we felt completely comfortable making the purchase if we didn't end up changing our mind. At around 3:30 p.m.--only about six hours later--I tried the dress on with the strapless bra I planned to wear and realized it was cut much lower on the side than I had thought. Unfortunately, it showed way more side than I was comfortable with, so I made the five-minute walk back to the store. I brought the dress back with the tags still attached, the original shopping bag, and my receipt. I was then told that returns were not allowed, but they could offer store credit instead. We explained that we had specifically been told we could return it within 14 days. The employee responded by circling the return policy printed on the receipt. The problem is that you don't receive the receipt until after you've already paid. We relied on the information we were given at checkout. We asked if a manager could be contacted. The employee first texted the manager, and for a moment it sounded like an exception might be made. Ultimately, the answer was still no. We then asked if she could call the manager directly. Unfortunately, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive over the phone. We explained that we felt we had been misled and that we would be disputing the charge and leaving a review. Her response was simply, "Okay." There was no concern, no apology, and no attempt to make things right. And the manager was so aggressive. It's disappointing because this entire situation could have been avoided if we had been given accurate information at checkout. Instead, what started as a great shopping experience ended with some of the worst customer service I've experienced.

They are on Manaola pricing level and feel like making clients spend money on the only bag option they have.. then don't want to help with anything outside of that. I got a FE diaperbag as a gift but had NO IDEA how to use it - it's an older version with the bassinet attachment. It was from an aunty, NWOT, and I don't mind it didn't have tags, or that it's an older version. I've always been the kind of girlie to thrift shop because I'm not a fan of what the clothing industry has done to our planet. This is why we went to FE-Kapolei in the first place: for someone to help us figure out how to use this thing. Read my review for the Kapolei location to know what happens next. Anyways, since that first visit, I visited FE a bunch of times because of their baby clothes. One reason I'm also not a FE person is the prints are too much for me. Put it this way, the only print I would kind of consider wearing is the simple fish print in black, no other colors! And then next thing you know, there's also a baby section as well for my son! Having a baby changes you, I'll still thrift for my clothes, but I wouldn't mind getting my son the newest clothes from a locally owned, woman ran business. Also, I LOVE being able to text the store and reserve items, no driving all the way to find out it's not there! And the quality of the clothes is definitely there. Decided to buy a baby onesie for our family photos and another baby onesie for our friends who are pregnant. I know baby clothes don't last long, but I just couldn't help myself! Overall, I may only like a couple things from FE, but the fact that it's supporting local is a big plus for me! Also, the quality of the clothing is so great considering the price.

Their online drops are legendary--beautiful, meaningful designs rooted in Hawaiian culture--but blink and you'll miss them. I've lost out more times than I can count, so stepping into their charming little yellow cottages on Monsarrat Avenue felt like a dream come true. The shop is small but thoughtfully curated, with just one of each size available--so every piece feels extra special. There are a few parking spots right out front (a gift in itself on Monsarrat!), and the whole experience feels intimate and intentional. From the hand-printed fabrics to the cultural storytelling woven into every design, Kealopiko is more than a clothing brand--it's a celebration of place, language, and identity. Super adorbs and totally worth the visit.

I saw the reviews of others saying that the service isn't super friendly. I get it. I live with some pretty angry Hawaiians and I get that it's hard to be happy all the time living here and working in an area filled with tourists. The few times I've been here, service has been a mixed bag. But they all get the job done. They'll usually try to give you a new item (instead of the display items) if they have any in stock. I think they are card only. Ofc the most difficult thing about kealopiko is how exclusive it is. They make their clothes in small batches and hand print the material. It's good quality items and honestly less expensive than some other locally owned stores, so I like shopping here. It's just sometimes hard to get your hands on things. I'll definitely be back. I try to follow them on Instagram so that I can head to the store when they do a drop. It was definitely easier when I lived in town.

The line was long, but it wasn't that bad (approximately 20 minutes). Once we got in line, we were handed these tickets for entry. The store is cool and the staff is friendly, however the prices were outrageous. My kids bought a total of 4 items (2 shirts, a purse and shorts and the total came out to $300!!!) What in the world?? My daughter was happy she was able to grab one of the Stussy Honolulu shirts, but it was yellow. Anyway, I guess if you're a Stussy person and want the exclusive Stussy Honolulu shirt, this is the place! From what I hear, people line up at 6am to get the Stussy Honolulu shirt in black or white, so I guess that's why the yellow ones were the only ones left at night. Despite the wait, I appreciated the helpful staff and efficient service.

The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. Overall, Stüssy Honolulu is a great stop if you are into streetwear or want to check out one of the well-known global brands located along Kalākaua Avenue.
