As planned, a couple of weeks later they grinded down all 3 stumps and the day after they were back to haul away most of the grinding material. They left enough so I didn't have huge holes. It should settle down even further and I shouldn't need as much dirt brought in as I thought I would. The entire crew were experienced and cleaned up pretty well after each visit considering the mess trees make. I would use them again or suggest anyone else to use them. Jesse and his team not only offered me an affordable solution but do a beautiful job every time. INITIAL QUOTE Jesse came over the same day I contacted him. Because my lawn is so large he needed to measure it to determine a special price package for me. I opted to pre-pay, which provided me with a generous discount. On the whole, Jesse actually under-priced the job per the time it takes to execute. He preferred to err to the benefit of his customer, and he refused to increase the charge after he committed to it. We agreed that we would do less cosmetic trimming to cut down on time, but Jesse still aims at perfection and he never leaves before everything looks perfect. MY LAWN & PROPERTY NOW Jesse has a huge mower that cuts the majority of the lawn. This is done without a bag, which I have no problem with. Jesse comes every week during the lawn-growing season here in Minnesota, to keep the lawn beautiful and manageable. In addition, he uses a smaller mower to get to areas that are tight (as between my tree line and fence). He also cut down and cleared a path through the woods to a wild spot behind my yards, then mowed it. I saw him bumping like a boat in a storm because the land was so uneven. He had to change the blades after that initial trim. From here on, he will keep that space roughly mowed for me and my dogs so we can enjoy the wilder part of our property. COST As I've mentioned, Jesse's prices are very reasonable; plus, when how much time and effort he spent, I was really impressed. Called Travis and explained what we needed done. He got back to me quickly with a very reasonable estimate and took care of the problem within a few hours of the call same-day. I was hoping to remove limb above neighbors side of fence to clear some space over their yard, as well as trim the tree away from the house. Once he got there Travis was kind enough to explain that cutting the limb away would likely hollow that bit out and that I'd probably get the desired result by simply trimming away the branches growing downwards along there. He also mentioned that he could do that and if I wanted more done could always do that after I saw it and decide from there. Very pleased with the results, both of clearing a nice patch away from neighbors side and of trimming back away from the house. Will be using him again!

The first was a ginormous River Birch that was within 6 inches of my house (sagging over time). Not a job for the DIYer. MET brought an army and the right equipment and made that beast a memory in about 5 hours. In addition, they pruned branches from 4 of my other trees. The arborist did in minutes what would have taken me days. My neighbor got some firewood out of the deal. The second was a problem Box Elder (multiple trunks near the rear property line corner) that decided to drop a trunk on my shed one day and one in my yard the next. MTE came to the rescue and removed that beast one and all in quick order. My neighbors can now sleep in peace. They also took out a tree in my front yard that had been quiet quitting for awhile. Ask for Eric, He's a stand up guy.

From the very start these guys were the best. Getting a quote was quick and easy - they came out to the house the same day I called. On the day of the removal - they showed up on time with a crane, a semi-truck, and loads of equipment and workers. It was all business - they knew what they were doing - it took under 3 hours to complete the job - lifting sections of this huge ash tree over the yard and into the street to cut up and haul away. Everything was professional and expertly done - I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work.
