    Iced Blueberry Pie And Pretzel
    Steve A.

Classy yet casual is a good way to describe this place amongst several dive bars. It's hard to believe this bar is around here. One Eleven is for sure the most upscale place in Lemont. Even though it puts emphasis on martinis, there's much more to get. There's a variety of liquors as well as a few small bites and plates. After hitting up a dive, we thought to try somewhere better. It's a kind of cramped place. There's a long bar and a few tables. Got seated at the bar and we looked at the menu and had to make hard choices. The drinks all looked good. It's about $13 for most cocktails. Okay for the high quality. I got the Iced Blueberry Pie. This is made with house made blueberry lavender syrup, coconut milk, lime, pineapple, and vodka. Fluffy and sweet kind of like eating pie. The food menu isn't as prominent but there's a few things. It's about $5 for small bites. We got one of the soft baked pretzels. Good to munch on between sips, and keeps one from drinking too fast. The bread also absorbs the alcohol, so you can get more. For certain if having to choose the nicest place in town this would be it. If you particularly like martinis and wines, they'll have something anyone likes. The bartenders are chatty without being annoying, and most importantly make stuff that's good and strong.

Drinking pistachio martinis this place is a gem. Highly recommend the key lime, pistachio, chocolate, and pineapple upside down if you have a sweet tooth. Great service and ambiance. Perfect for a date night or a girls night!

This is my second year visiting during the holidays. The staff is so friendly and service is fast. There's a pour your own wine area. This year I tried the pistachio martini and if you like pistachios, don't miss out on this cocktail. The decor is dark and there was holiday lights as well. Would return 5/5!

Drinks were good, Atmosphere was good, Only complaint is the service. When I called to ask the hours the person who answered was rude and seemed annoyed by my call . She quickly answered my question and just hung up without asking if I needed anything else. When we got there we tried to order drinks and the lady serving our water just walked away without saying anything. Thinking she went to get a something to write with we waited. Instead, someone else came to get our order after a few minutes. This server was complete opposite. She was extremely friendly and pleasant. After I complained about the other person I came to find out the rude lady was the owner. So note to the owner, be friendly to your customers. We help keep your business going. If we're not rude, no reason for you to be either. A smile and a friendly response goes a long way.

Such a welcoming atmosphere with incredible drinks. You can get drinks anywhere but they just add a new level to the quality. Really cool feelings of a speak easy vibe.

This week's martini flight ... Cucumber Mint, Lavender Lemon Drop and Orange Crush!! I love this place so much.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

The food is honestly the best thing about this spot; the vibes aren't quite right for a special date night, but might be perfect for a birthday party or girls night out and service can either be hit or miss. If you come here, definitely make a night of it in downtown Lemont - there's lots to explore, whether for a nightcap or dessert after Barrel & Vine to turn it into a night.

We figured it would have been the perfect way to top off our evening. For first-timers it might be hard trying to find the speakeasy since at first I thought you had to access it from the Busy Street and walk up three flights of stairs. Actually you just walk inside of the Embers building, find the elevator that's kind of hidden and take it to the Third floor. I thought that the little trip up felt exclusive already. Once you're at the third floor you are treated to a beautiful array of scenery. Exit to your left and you were treated to the bar and some great tables with a cozy, intimate setting. I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. This one thankfully was casual though many people dressed business casual. We actually loved how the staff dressed as well. I have to try their Japanese sex drink and I absolutely loved every ship that I took. The drinks are fairly price. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. This place does have a lot of great events going on as well with their upcoming Valentine's Day event that looks really interesting. It does get pretty busy as well after 7:00 p.m. from our experience. Overall, I was excited and enjoyed our visit coming to the 933 speakeasy!

It just so happens that I visited the night of a holiday bar crawl in lockport so the inside wasn't set up how it normally would be. For being packed, we were still able to grab a cocktail table to enjoy our drinks at. The bar was decked out in holiday decor to get everyone in christmas spirits. My group got two rounds of drinks which included the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, Figgy Smalls, Christmas in a Cup, Happiness is a Warm Puppy, Milk & Cookies, and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. My favorites by far were the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned and Figgy Smalls. My group also loved the Milk & Cookies. The bartenders hustled to get drinks out and still took time to smoke the old fashioneds to perfection. I'd love to come back on a normal night and re-enjoy this lockport hotspot.

She was so sweet, service with a smile. We started with a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. Hubby had tonight's special drink, a Gold Rush. I had the sister to a Gold Rush, a Bees Knees. It's just a matter of bourbon vs gin. Both are refreshing cocktails made with honey and lemon. We shared the Spanish octopus to begin, a perfectly grilled octopus tentacle in a romesco sauce topped with pico de gallo and toasted almonds. We thoroughly enjoyed it. A generous portion and so tender. Hubby had the Saturday night special, the smoked prime rib. It came with grilled vegetables and truffle fries. He had this speciality last time. This time it was so fatty (see photo). I had the grouper puttanesca with couscous. I love grouper but I felt it was salty. With capers and anchovy, the fish didn't need salt as these things bring salt to the dish. However, our entrees were generous in size and tasty. We definitely like this restaurant. They have a loyalty program, plenty of seating inside and out, a nice bar area and a Vegas-style gaming room. Phoenix Kitchen even nixed using seed oil at their restaurant. We did miss out on the complimentary house-made limoncello this time. What's up with that?!
