Kevin was the utmost professional and a pleasure to speak with and explained the testing process and timeline. In dealing with the water district the caliber of personnel and their knowledge regarding their specific discipline or trade is second to none. I am quite thankful for the quality customer service and technical expertise that the water district provides. Their goal is quality water municipal delivery and stellar customer service. Highly recommended

1 Star Moulton…read moreNiguel Water District shut off our water during extreme heat without any meaningful advance warning or phone call. We have an infant at home, making access to running water especially critical for drinking, sanitation, food preparation, and basic care. This is unfortunately part of a larger pattern of problems we have experienced. Previous grievances I submitted have not been meaningfully addressed, and it increasingly feels as though customer complaints are simply ignored. We are also concerned about whether we have been treated differently from other customers and have raised concerns regarding possible discriminatory treatment. If anyone else has experienced similar treatment, unexplained shutoffs, lack of notice, ignored complaints, or other serious problems involving Moulton Niguel Water District, please reach out. I am interested in hearing from other affected customers and am prepared to consult legal counsel regarding whether a broader legal action, including a potential class action, may be appropriate. We intend to pursue this matter through the appropriate regulatory and legal channels. Turning off a family's water without meaningful notice during extreme heat, especially with an infant in the home, is completely unacceptable.

At this…read morepoint, it became a part-time job for me to monitor my credit card statement and keep track of whether my bins were actually being serviced. I had a monthly service, but they did not consistently come every month while continuing to charge my card every month. My last actual service was May 21. On June 18, they arrived about two hours late and were then not allowed access to my neighborhood. I understand that things happen, but they had already been running behind, and I was charged my credit card on file for a fuel fee even though the situation was not something I caused or could control. They also did not attempt to service my bins. I contacted the company and requested a refund. I was told, "Our team will review the option to apply as a credit or refund and will follow up shortly." I was also told they were backed up. It has now been eight weeks with no follow-up, no refund or credit, and no bin cleaning since May 21. The lack of communication and the continued billing despite inconsistent service were ultimately too frustrating, and I decided to cancel. I shouldn't have to constantly monitor my credit card and service dates to make sure I'm being charged correctly and actually receiving the service I'm paying for.

What a complete joke and embarrassment of a company. Shame on everyone who works here, or is in any…read moreway associated with Irvine Ranch Water District. This is by far the lowest rated utility company I've ever come across, and after just my first month of having an account with them, it's no wonder. First off, I recently received my first bill in the mail. That's when I learned of a $30 service establishment charge and $75 deposit. Annoying, but not the end of the world. However, after creating my online account to pay the bill, I noticed the Amount Due was higher than my actual statement. No explanation on the website whatsoever as to why that is. Are they just hoping customers don't notice? After digging around the internet, it looks like they decided to charge me a 10% late fee for the deposit and service establishment cost, which I never received a bill for in the mail. I honestly cannot believe this company charges a late fee so quickly to begin with, and at such a high percentage of the bill. I have never heard of that before, and I've dealt with plenty of corrupt companies. Well, I guess this one tops the list. I seldom leave one star reviews, but Irvine Ranch Water District is well deserving of this one. I guess this is how Irvine's water utility company welcomes new members to their community. With a $105 service charge + 10% late fee (before any actual usage). What a shame and disappointment this company is.

I saw their…read morecompany van in front of my house, but since I wasn't familiar with them, I didn't realize they were shutting off the water. I walked toward the technician and kept saying "excuse me," but he completely ignored me and drove away. When I called IRWD right after to explain that I now live here and simply forgot to start service, they still refused to send him back without charging an $80 fee. I understand having policies, but there was absolutely no courtesy or understanding for a new homeowner who was clearly trying to communicate with the technician. The whole situation felt unnecessary and very frustrating.

I spoke with Cameron of C & C Plumbing to discuss the matter and hired them. They installed a quality pressure regulator, and it made an immediate, noticeable difference. Our appliances are happier, the knocking sounds that used to happen whenever the irrigation system turned on are completely gone, and our house pressure is finally back to normal. They showed up on time, quoted a very fair price, and were clearly knowledgeable about which quality parts to use. The clamping equipment and materials they installed are top-notch--built to last and give us years of worry-free service. It's obvious they take pride in using the best rather than cutting corners. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work. They were professional and reliable. We scheduled a follow up visit and they installed a Moen Flo unit as well that will give us further piece of mind. (the blue tape on the photo is covering the water-gauge since I didn't want it to get wet and collect water spots over time making it difficult to read). Thank you C&C Plumbing!

Everything was resolved quickly and instead of charging me a good amount for a one time service, they offered a twice a year tune up plan for less, and would include this visit as covered. I had low expectations as my previous technician with a different company from last year barely did anything and did not even check our drain line inside the home. McShane was our technician and he's the reason I'm even leaving a 5 star review. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. He was respectful of the property, used shoe covers before entering, and asked permission before moving things around. You notice those little things when you've had a bad experience in the past. I would say the value is also worth it. It was $85 for the tune-up. I was obviously looking for something cheaper but you get what you pay for. Overall great service!! This company will now be my go-to for my HVAC needs!
