I had low expectations as my previous technician with a different company from last year barely did anything and did not even check our drain line inside the home. McShane was our technician and he's the reason I'm even leaving a 5 star review. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. He was respectful of the property, used shoe covers before entering, and asked permission before moving things around. You notice those little things when you've had a bad experience in the past. I would say the value is also worth it. It was $85 for the tune-up. I was obviously looking for something cheaper but you get what you pay for. Overall great service!! I had Just Right Services installed a new unit back in November 2024 and waited 2 months to run the unit to give a full review. Initially, I met with Zach who was very thorough about what was needed. One thing I appreciated is that he didn't sell me anything. He began by listening to what I desired and informed me what they can do. He answered all my questions and even came back to answer more questions after I spoke and gathered quotes from 4 other companies. Their price was very competitive but what sold me was Zach's customer service. On the day of installation , the team came bright and early and were full of energy. They walked me through the installation and explained to me the difference I would feel with the new unit. They were very fast, efficient, and brought joy into the house when they were here. Once installed, I received a surprise visit at the end of the day from Zach who wanted to make sure everything was in order and operating well. I actually was referred to Just Right Services by Gemini AI. Of course, as luck would have it, my A/C died in the middle of a heatwave on a Friday after business hours. I contacted Just Right Services by phone and someone promptly answered. Quickly thereafter, Just Right arranged for Chris (one of their techs) to come out the following day (Saturday). Chris arrived on time and was professional, friendly and straight forward. After some quick but thorough diagnostic testing, Chris figured out that I needed a new heat pump fan motor. Unfortunately, the parts supply store was closed until Monday, so we had to wait until Chris was able to order and pick up the motor. As promised, Chris came out on Tuesday morning after retrieving the motor on Monday and replaced the fan motor which successfully turned on and worked like a charm! Chris was very thorough, checking all the vents in my home to make sure cool air was coming through. As a very kind gesture, he also cleaned out my heat pump unit of leaves and debris that had settled at the bottom over the years. Update.... The company credited the $98 back. All is good now. Very polite service tech. The challenge was that they were to fix a leak in the upstairs tub that was causing damage to the garage ceiling. The initial charge to diagnose was $98 and that would be applied to the final repair. They wanted to charge for drywall cutting, which i can do so I offered to have them fix it after I did the cutting and the wall was opened up. After the drywall was cut open, the Tech consulted with his manager and they decided that the leak was from the tub drain and needed a new gasket. Next a few later days water is still dripping so i take out the tile to really see the source. Tub valve is slowly dripping onto the tile edge and along the tub so valve needs replacing. So the outcome is i have them come back to replace the valve and they will not honor the $98 inspection fee to apply towards the repair. So... Just right couldn't diagnose the leak without me tearing it down and then not applying the initial fee to the repair. The only positive was the tech's demeanor. read more

Our furnace went out and needed to be replaced. We reached out a number of companies for a new replacement HVAC system for our home. Just Right Services came in at a good price for a new 19 SEER heat pump system. We are extremely happy with our system choice! However, we are not pleased with how Just Right Services left our new unit on a floating base. We were told during the install that we'll have to find a contractor to come out and build a proper base for the unit. This required us to have Just Right Services to come out ($$) to uninstall/reinstall the system so the new concrete base could be built. When the technician came out for uninstall, he also questioned why his own company left this new system like this. Why didn't Just Right Services build the base prior to the installation? Or, inform us prior to installing the new system that this what needed to be done?? This cost us almost an extra $1000 to have the system uninstalled and reinstalled. No Bueno. read more

When I called the business to confirm and set and appointment only a few minutes later the "lead dispatcher" said it was $400 for the leak detection and that I couldn't get the job done cheaper than that. They fixed a leaking valve behind the wall of our master shower. Ok, they got the job done, but had to cut a larger hole into the tile than expected and thus requiring a giant sized shower handle plate. Not asthetically pleasing. Minus 1 point for leaving debris on the master shower tile after the work, which I had to clean up. Minus another point as the owner assured me he would be at the entire job supervising, after letting me know the tech is on the newer side. Spoiler alert: That didn't happen. I have a shower leak and want to get it fix. I have used Just Right couple times in the past so I decided to book an appt on their website after getting no response from Yelp quote service. I have noticed the Just Right has grown and provides many other services. They even have a dedicated scheduler and web site for quotes and service appointment. I decided to use their web site since I didn't get a response from Yelp quote and it was easier to book. However, I got a call this morning from James who told me that they cannot service me today because all time slots are booked. I tried to explain that I book a week ago and time slot i want was opened. He explained their web site appointment system is broken and doesn't sync with their scheduling. This is the second time that this scheduling problem occurred to me. Last time James told me to call in for appointment but why don't you guys fix the online appointment or take it down. Even though James was apologetic but he continuously overstepped my conversation as I was venting my frustration. Funny thing is I got 2 text messages and 1 email confirming my appointment. James offered another time slot that wont work for me. This sounds petty but when you have to rearrange your schedule, it is very troublesome and frustrating. This makes me to think the company might be growing too big or having some internal problems. I suggest they take down the online appointment so it wont cause confusing and messing up people's schedules. Why is my review unfair? Your technician did not diagnose anything. He just looked at the unit and said he needed to call Rheem the next day. He didn't take anything apart to try to find the root cause of the issue. Are you saying that justifies a fee for "diagnosis?" And I understood it was a holiday and Rheem's office was closed. That's why I waited to hear back from your team the next day. However when the morning past with no update, my wife and I ended up having to follow up with you and your team instead, which had no update. I called another plumber and they came within a couple hours. They also charge a diagnostic fee, much higher than what you charge. But they came by, stayed longer than your technician did, and they didn't even have to call Rheem. They explained my options, gave me several choices, and I went from there. And guess what? They didn't charge me a diagnostic fee for their visit and advice. You messaged me privately to apologize for your team's missteps, which I appreciate, but your public response says otherwise by saying my feelings about your lack of customer service is unfair. You said in your private message that you'll "accept the critique and move on." Now why the contradiction? read more

This update is long overdue. After an initial scheduling snafu, I tried them again for a couple of plumbing issues.
