Linda was very sweet and informative. She gave excellent advice and wasn't pushy at all about products or services. I loved how direct and realistic she was about costs, products, and services. I needed a massage because of a lower back strain, so I decided to try Atma. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The peaceful music and dimmed lights provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation; the staff member who worked with me was kind and even started the massage several minutes early for me (I arrived early). Staff is skilled and friendly. However, I wanted a lower to medium pressure massage and was placed with a masseuse who preferred a deeper massage. She explained her style of massage and was attentive to me every step of the way, stopping the pressure if I said anything was uncomfortable or hurt. The problem was more with me than the massage, as I don't always speak up about the pain or discomfort. I feel sore today, and felt sore several hours after the massage. It's nothing intolerable, but I would have preferred a lighter massage and a bit more focus on the area of discomfort (lower back). I can't really complain, as the employee truly was skilled in providing a massage which left me feeling entirely relaxed immediately afterward, a massage where she focused on arms, legs, neck and back. read more

I have been seeing Sarah for my facials and she is the BEST aesthetician with her attention to detail, extractions, and relaxation! I refuse to get facials done anywhere else while traveling because I kick myself regretting it because it's not the same as Sarah's! Give her a try with an exfoliating facial or a dermaplane. I've noticed a significant difference in the appearance and texture of my skin from having so many marks and discoloration to now being so confident that I don't need to wear concealer/foundation when I step out of the house. My appt was with Roxanna G., once she was done I asked her when my cupping would begin.. she then says "oh sorry I forgot, I can refund you for that part because I have another client" she gave me $20 back and sent a new email showing as if I canceled the cupping session. I love this place, idk how I've never been here before. Brought my mom for a mother's day treat for both of us. As soon as we came in, staff were nice. Offered us water, mimosas, candy. We had a 1 hour massage with a 30 min foot treatment add on. It was amazing! I had Roxanna, and that was probably the best massage I've ever had. I asked for medium pressure, and she was perfect. I could feel the knots loosening in my shoulders. She had great firm pressure without digging into my skin which was awesome. My mom was massaged by Alyssa, and she loved her. I'm pretty sure when Alyssa asked my mom to roll over, she was asleep lol. This was also my mom's first massage so I was nervous she wouldn't be able to relax enough to enjoy it. 3 hours later and she's still raving about how good it was lol. This was my third or fourth massage at Atma but I've had many in the past. I had a one hour, deep tissue accompanied by essential oils, hot towels and hot rocks. By the end, I was in La La land. By far and away, the best massage I've had here, and likely ever. Sunny! Tiny woman, tremendous strength! I can't speak highly enough about my experience. I will recommend her again and again. First time here and place is nice and welcoming. I had my massage with Tina. She was very nice however my massage experience wasn't what I expected. The first few minutes she first asked me how the weather was. This isn't a bad question to ask but already being in relaxation mode it wasn't what I was expecting, as it gave me the impression that this was going to be a more "casual" experience rather than a relaxing one. The massage itself was decent. However if im being honest it felt like lotion was just being put on my body. There were also a lot of "pausing" moments that had to deal with my bottom (I'm assuming it's a massage technique) but I've never had that in my previous massage experiences and was kind of annoyed with how long the pauses would take and how often she would go from pushing down on my butt and hips to going back up to my back. I really had hoped for a more consistent back massage. I also wished there was more pressure and that she would at least ask me how the pressure was. When it came to my arms and hands, I would say I enjoyed this part (and the neck) the most. She really did a good job relieving my neck tension and the arms felt good. However, while she was massaging my hands she went on to ask me another question and said, "What's with people wearing white nail polish? I've seen so many people come in with white nail polish, is it a tik tok trend or something?" Now, before coming in I was already self conscious about my nails because they weren't done. So when she asked me this it really made me feel more self conscious because now I'm getting the impression that she's observing me and (possibly judging me). It really made me feel more tense than relaxed to be honest. Lastly, when it came to being faced up I did feel weird about not having a blind fold or towel to cover my eyes (as my previous experiences with massage therapists would usually put this on). If my experience was good this probably wouldn't have bothered me. But I did my best to try and enjoy my experience since I did pay for it already, and overall thanked her because she was a nice person and either way I'm grateful. I just hope the professionalism improves and that this doesn't happen to the next person. read more

Seems like a popular place but again, BEWARE !!! You better check your reservations several times before you show up to confirm it is still on their schedule, so as not to be disappointed when you arrive for a relaxing massage, you dropped off their schedule. Two months prior, I was called 30 minutes before appointment and was told therapist had cancelled. No offer of re-appointment just left hanging to try and get another appointment when I could. Roxanne has zero follow-up. Final straw, spoke specifically to owner Roxanne two times on same day to book a couples appointment for my wife's birthday. Even spoke about the specific therapists who were scheduled for the appointment. Showed up for our appointment and learned my appointment, that I booked from the owner, was not on their schedule. Ruined birthday plans. Therapist at the business was very apologetic ( Not her fault ), was told Roxanne would call me. Guess what folks, No Call !!! fool me once - shame on u fool me twice - shame on me Never Again! I booked a 60 min lymphatic massage and upon arrival, the massage therapist said for head/neck they recommend 30 mins. There was nothing noted about this on their website that I saw, but I said no problem, figuring I'd just save the other 30 mins for another session. The place was really nice, very relaxing and clean. The therapist was very friendly, and the experience was relaxing, but I didn't feel the experience was worth the money. I've had lymphatic massages in the past & have always felt the need to use the bathroom afterwards from all the drainage, however, I didn't feel that with this experience. After a few days I decided to cancel my second appointment. After several back and forth phone calls and a couple of emails that were mis-directed (wrong email on the website), my therapist finally got back to me & said she would refund me, but it was only $20-$25 because the 30 min session apparently was more than half of the 60 min. I would have no issue with this had the therapist been upfront about the price difference. It would cost more to do 2 30 min sessions than 1 60 min session, and I fully went in expecting a 60 min session. While this place is really nice, I wouldn't recommend them for a lymphatic massage. I'd rather travel further and pay a little more for someone who is certified in manual lymph drainage. Unfortunately this wasn't a positive experience for me given the circumstances. I tried this place today for the first time because it was recommended by a friend of mine. Their website is extremely user friendly and provides information for the services they offer. The website also allows you to book an appointment online which is easy to do. I booked a 60 minute lymphatic drainage massage with Roxanna. Roxanna walked me to the room to get ready. The room was beautifully decorated and so peaceful. The music playing and dim lights set the mood for self care. Roxanna worked her magic and I was in a chill state, which made me doze off to sleep a few times. I felt so refreshed afterwards and grateful Roxanna had water ready for me when I walked out of the room. Always good to hydrate after getting a massage done! I bought a gift certificate for my friends birthday & as I had purchased it i unfortunately typed my email in wrong. (One letter was off & it ended up sending the gift certificate to a different email that wasn't even mine.) As I played phone tag with the receptionist for a few days (hard to do since I'm in the military so I work 13hour days without a phone) I was finally able to leave a message with her & she told me her manager would give me a call back. When walked in, the receptionist was not wearing her mask(under her chin). The esthetician's plastic mask was sus. It was a hard piece of plastic attached to her glasses which didn't allow for a proper seal. The worst part of my experience here was the waxing itself. I left with wax burns, wax residue on my shorts, and hair still in places where she waxed. This esthetician seemed unsure of which wax to use on my face. She waxed over parts of my face multiple times with multiple waxes, which probably led to the burns. As she lifted a strip, it didn't come off. Don't know if she lost her grip or if this was a result of using the wrong wax. At one point, she pointed out that parts of my face were oily as a reason for why it seemed that the wax was not lifting all the hair. I've had multiple facial waxes. Esthetician have never had an issue with my combo skin. While she was waxing my legs, she'd use a strip to remove wax then reuse the strip with the wax side down to lift more wax. This over time, led to more and more painful waxing. This also just seems unhygienic. While she was waxing my legs, the wax would build up on the strip and fling around everywhere which is what led to the wax getting in my shorts. She insisted on putting oil on the wax which landed close to my crotch, which was sooo awkward! I feel bad leaving a poor review considering that the esthetician mentioned it was her birthday and that she was going through personal issues with her divorce and family, but I'd feel worse not doing anything to help prevent this from happening to someone else. read more

TL:DR; amazing place, worth every penny, ask for Jane! I came here for a prenatal massage and was lucky to have found Jane. My issues were my shoulders and lower back. I work full time in an office at a desk, I'm a full time student, and I have a 3 year old toddler; I've a lot of built up stress. I came here looking for some relief and I definitely found it. Jane found all of my tense spots and I left 20X lighter than when I arrived. She knew exactly how much pressure to apply where. It was very obvious that she has a ton of experience with prenatal massages. She constantly checked in with me to make sure the pressure was okay and if the massage was okay and if she needed to adjust anything. I was a little skeptical at first because my last experience at a different place really left me disappointed so I did a ton of research before settling on Atma. Just walking in I knew it was going to be different. The atmosphere is so calming, everything is so clean, and everyone spoke in soft gentle tones. I'm not sure what they used whether it was incense or an essential oil but the aroma was amazing. Everything from the moment you walk in was designed to create the perfect relaxing atmosphere and they were most definitely successful in that.
