I have been going here for years, and recently have been trying to get in every 6 months or so for a massage. My husband and I have always loved the soaking tub, the massages and the ambience. But recently I tried to book a couples massage for my birthday. I sent multiple texts and left a voicemail with almost no communication. I had to keep following up over and over and after over a week and multiple messages they still were not able to book an appointment for me. I ended up booking somewhere else when I continued to not get a reply. The communication has never been great, but this time was beyond unacceptable. Moe, my massage therapist was wonderful. I've been there like three times. I know for a fact that the Jets work in the spa the water was warm and we was told by the front desk that the jets were broken, but then she said she could get a manager end up getting a manager on the telephone, which I feel that she was very rude. She kept on talking telling me that the Jets never worked like I said I've been there more than twice and they worked that's why I go there to fill the jets on my back before I get my massage. so being in the spa after the phone call the Jets pumped up a little bit and the water got hotter that was very awkward but she said they never worked. So this time I was very unhappy with the manager service they did not have cold water to drink the water dispenser on the counter. I gave a cash tip when I looked at my receipt the following morning I had a tip taken off of my credit card. I've called still have not got a response. They don't have good communication at all. I scheduled a prenatal massage via text and was given a date and time to come in. When I arrived, the doors were locked, and I had to wait until someone inside noticed me. After explaining I was there for my appointment, I was told I wasn't even in the system. I drove 30 minutes to get there and had to arrange childcare for my son, so this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My massage therapist was excellent. My friend and I visited the day spa in celebration of our birthdays. Upon arrival, 10:45 for 11 am appointments, we were informed that they were running behind and that they had texted a note. Got the text at 11 am 15 minutes after arrival and at the time of the appointment. As stated above my massage therapist was fantastic. Unfortunately the aesthetician who gave me a facial was sub par. With the first application, product dripped into my eye and caused severe irritation. I was asked if "I wanted to rub my eye". it went downhill from there. No mask, no deep pore cleansing, no material difference to my skin health at all. Spa has no jets. Not recommended. read more

My friend and I drove from Sacramento for the 'half day' spa package. This includes a 30 minute soak in a hot tub, in a private room. The water was cool, so we asked to have it heated up and by the end of our time it was just about hot. Next was the 1 hour facial. This I give 10 stars for. Relaxing and it felt wonderful. The lady was super sweet and knowledgeable. Next came the 1 hour massage. It was ok (3 stars). I asked a few times for the focus to be only on my back and a little on my feet. More time should have been on my back as I asked. The hot foot 'treatment' and back exfoliation was done during the hour massage. I would rather skip that and just get a massage. It was my first time getting a massage and of course, my first time at this location. I booked the couples retreat package that was $175 online. Booking took a while, don't expect quick replies. You do have to text their number online to book an appointment. Once I was booked, my appointment time was changed about 3 times, that was a bit frustrating, but I was able to accommodate all times they were telling me. Day of, when we arrived, we arrived about 10 minutes earlier and were checked in quickly. They had told us we would be 30 minutes in the hot tub and then have our hour long massages. I do recommend you bring extra clothes since if you choose a package that requires you to get wet - in hot tub, then you will need extra clothes to change into after. The "garden room" where hot tub is was nicely decorated, looked clean and lighting was very dim for an intimate feeling. I got so hot being in the hot tub though, but that's just me personally I get hot quick so I had to be getting out every couple minutes as I was starting to sweat in there. Once it was time for our massages they did tell us to remove all wet clothing. You can be fully naked on bed for massages as you are covered for the most part during the massage in sheets. when they're massaging you they only lift sheets over areas they are working on. You can also leave underwear on if you're not comfortable being fully naked. They really massage every inch of your body so well, and if you ever experience pain you just have to let them know. Our masseuses Teresa and Lydia were so kind, professional and soft on the hands. It really did feel great and relaxing. When it was time to pay: the price was higher than the online price. In person massages were $85 per person plus $10 per person for Hot tub so that's already $190 (not the original online $175 price) and I did tip them but that's extra on my part which I didn't mind at all tipping them since they did an amazing job! I would definitely come back and try other services they offer. I do still think their prices are reasonable and it's a clean location with professional and friendly staff. read more

My kids gave me a $200 gift certificate and booked a My Retreat Special package, listed for $165. They told me the $200 would cover a 20% tip. Got done and the lady who checked me out, Theresa (also had done my massage) said it was $180 and asked if I wanted to add a gratuity. I told her it should be covered by the gift certificate, and she then said so $10 to each person? I said yes. Then I said that my daughter said the service was only supposed to be $165, and she said it doesn't matter. So, they got shorted in tips. But on top of that, facial was great, spa was good, but massage was horrible. She rushed and was rough,and I get regular monthly massages so I am used to it. She put TONS of greasy cream on me and then proceeded to 'massage' it into my hair. Yuck! Not good and I would not recommend her for a massage at all! read more

The hot tub is the perfect temperature and the room is so peaceful. The massage was the best one I've ever had. My mom has some chronic back and shoulder issues and while she said the massage could be a tiny bit painful at times, the massage ultimately "felt like it made [her] feel better afterwards so it was worth it." It felt like the masseuses genuinely know how to help remedy tight muscles and other issues rather than just relaxing you. If you need a firm hand to help with pain, they are great. I have came to this location twice, it is very relaxing on the inside. I've seen Skylar twice for waxing, she is super sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. It was my first time for a Brazilian wax and I was super nervous but she made me feel comfortable and she explained the process to me which made me feel a lot better. I wanted to do the couple/friend package and add the glow scrub which wasn't an option but they made it happen for me. Was looking for a nice place to take my Granddaughter for her 21st Birthday and found this hidden gem. I called to see what services they had to offer as she wanted to try a hot stone massage. The owner Jamie was so helpful and very sweet in helping me put the right package for my Granddaughter and Daughter. They had 30 minutes in the hot tub then both had 70 minutes of massages and we did hand and foot treatments for them also. It was such a great experience for them, they came out so relaxed and happy. They supply everything you need, fluffy towels and robes for after the hot tub. I am looking forward to this being my go to place for gifts for my family. Absolutely ridiculous customer service! My wife and I had a couples massage scheduled for our 7 year anniversary on 2/15/19. When we finally got to the building after driving an hour, the door had a sign saying they were close due to sewer issues. The least they could have done is let the customers know ahead of time that they would be close for a few days.. a week.. etc. and that they would need to reschedule for a later time. The bottom line is that we just wasted two and a half hours of our anniversary dealing with this. We also had to have someone babysit our two kids (which isn't an easy task). I would give this business zero stars for customer service and wasting my time, gas, and money! We will absolutely not be supporting this business in the future. read more

Booked a couples retreat for my birthday. Super easy to book by texting the number on the website. On arrival we were greeted and asked to sit while they prepped to bring us back. Once we were brought back to the spa room we weren't given much direction other then they will flip on a light when it's time to get out. Once we entered the soaking tub we couldn't figure out if there was a way to turn on the jets and could see some debris on the seat all the way around the tub and in the bottom so I was a little turned off by that. Some of the candles on the wall are out it just wasn't as nice as the photos. Once the light turned on we got out to some nice towels and realized there was some robes hanging on the wall. They then took us to the massage room which was nice I liked the hanging decor on the ceiling. Our massage therapists were really nice and did a great job. Once checking out they ask you how much you would like to tip and then email you a receipt. After checking the receipt I noticed that the price online and the price I was charged was different. I was charged $10 more then the advertised price. So I would recommend confirm the prices before getting your service completed. Other then that it was good. I think they should do some upgrading to the spa area and around the entry and maybe give some better direction with the spa area. Still not a bad experience. read more
