Theresa is great! I have chronic low back & shoulder pain so I try to come see her every month. When she needs to, she works out my knots & stretches me out when my muscles are a little tight, which is often since I sit in front of a computer at work all day. I have a skin condition that excludes any facials so Theresa let me swap that for a mani/pedi ...... At no add'l charge!!! Janine, the nail tech, did an amazing job ....... Still going strong, looks like I just had it done, 1 week later!!! Theresa now has a customer for life! While laying relaxed on the massage table, my recently deceased mother visited us! WILD yes, but Theresa is gifted in so many ways!! I believe it truly was my mom based on things Theresa said & it was an extremely comforting visit! Aww, I really wanted to like this place, and there was a great deal on living social so I bought my mom a half off deal for a facial and massage as the birthday present Anyway, both of us got mixed up and missed the deadline -admittedly my mistake. So, I called to see if she would accommodate us since it was my mistake and not my mom's. NO, she won't unless we wanted to pay the full $140. My mom didn't even want a massage anyhow, she was particularly interested in the facial. So, far so good since the lady was well within her right to state that we can only use the $70 towards services but she can no longer honor the voucher. Anyway, long story short, she categorically stated that she won't let us use towards any service unless we got the facial AND massage which at full price is $140. This $UCK$, we don't want the massage at all. The whole phone conversation was just weird. I will write Living Social to see what they will say. I am sure she's a decent esthetician and masseuse, but we will never know! read more

My review is definitely way over due....I had my facial with Theresa on 5/27/17 and it was really good. I have complaints on the facial itself or the service that I received during my session. Theresa did seem pretty knowledgeable in discussing ways to improve my skin, brighten my complexion, and lesson dark spots. I have been using Clearasil pretty much my whole life, accompanied by Ponds cold cream because for me, those products seemed to do the trick, but based on Theresa's expertise, these products are filled with "fillers", meaning you get more fluff than product. Based on Theresa's recommendations, I purchased the Phytocheane face wash and face cream, 3 different Lira products (serum, polish, and face mask). I used these products as directed within the first two weeks and I just felt as though they were not a good fit. The cleanser didn't seem to do much for my skin and the face cream smelled so much like sun screen, with the same consistency. You had to make sure you blended the face cream in SUPER well, otherwise, you would have white residue on your face. I used the Lira products maybe once or twice, but found that it was just way too much, in terms of putting the mask on for X amount of time and then following it up with the polish, etc., etc,. I never knew that sooo many products were needed to achieve nice skin. When I reached out to Theresa to let her know that I was not satisfied with the products I purchased and let me just note that I spent over $200 on these products, she offered to replace the face cream. What a deal right? Like a fool, I ended up not only exchanging the cream, but I picked up a pimple spot pen for minor breakouts. Of course by the time I got home, the tube actually said it was EXPIRED! I reached out to Theresa and she said, "No worries, its good for another 6 months past date." RIGHT!!!! I tossed the tube out because at that point, I no longer trusted the products. Even in continuing to use the new face cream, my skin just became really irritated and I broke out in small bumps by my chin, under my left eye, and near my left eye brow. Don't get me wrong, breakouts happen, but clearly something in these products ( face wash and face cream) was irritating me. I had discontinued my use with the other... 3 products so that was no where near a factor in my breakout. Even still I reached out to Theresa for possibly another facial to help clear up my irritated skin and to let her know about the products. She recommended I discontinue use, she apologized for all of my issues with the products, and told me to put cortisone cream on the areas, which actually really, REALLY helped with the bumps. That was my last communication with Theresa. After spending so much money on these products, Theresa should have offered a better resolution. I was still willing to get another facial done, but unfortunately, I am just left feeling as though she sold me a bunch of useless products, none of which was based on my skins sensitivity, WHICH I made that known during our first session. I went back to my normal face routine and I have had ZERO breakouts since. read more

In terms of the facial service, it was the best facial I have ever experienced. The end to end experience with cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, massage and treatment was thorough and detailed. You can tell she takes pride in her work by her focus on every aspect of the treatment. My skin looked great afterwards, and I was also super relaxed. Her massage was top notch. Bella These Spa is like a perfect little oasis in the middle of a cow and horse-laden field. You wouldn't necessarily expect to find a beautiful, quality, professional spa in Fairfield but there it is! Theresa has done an amazing job creating a comfortable, clean, peaceful and relaxing environment. The treatment rooms are beautifully decorated and you instantly feel relaxed when you get there. The massage tables are super comfy and heated with soft, warm spa blankets. I went for two facials before my wedding and for my makeup trial before Theresa did my wedding make up. I'm usually not a big fan of facials but these facials were awesome! Her equipment is top notch and she definitely knows what she's doing. My skin felt amazing afterwards and my pores felt very clean too! :) My wedding make up could not have been more perfect. She did a wonderful job at excentuating all my best features and making me look my most beautiful without making me look heavily made up. All the women at the wedding complimented me on how beautiful my make up was and how I looked. Theresa was recommended to me from my hair stylist because I was still looking for someone to do my makeup for me for my wedding which was 3 weeks out and I was getting very nervous since it was nearing wedding season.
