I brought in a diamond necklace that didn't hang quite right, it keeps facing the wrong way. The girl said she knew just what new setting would fix the problem. I was happy. I waited for months until I got the call that it was ready. It wasn't right. The new setting just kept the diamond from sliding back and forth along the chain, it didn't keep the diamond from turning backside-front. And now the chain has been cut and soldered to a fairly plain basket setting, in comparison to the sleek and sophisticated original setting. You know the bumper sticker around town that says "Keep Salem Lame"? Well, I feel like now I have a lame necklace, courtesy of Salem's most visible jeweler. The employee insisted that "the misunderstanding" was on my part, not the store's. Whatever, I still can't wear the necklace, hundreds of dollars later. (I've been going to jewelers for decades without this kind of problem; I won't go to Vernon's ever again. Was told with demo that deliver would take 1-2 hours of my day. Because they had to send a 2n md person to actually do the demo, had to go back again for missing parts, it was 8 hours! My entire day! No apology. I ordered lights in mid July, told a few weeks, it's now mid October with no delivery date yet. I will say the tech who did come out to do the demo, and discovered the missing parts, was a great guy. Seemed to know his stuff. Too bad he is retiring. He took me in the back and we found Luke, the outside guru jack of all Kubota mechanic. I told him my problem and he took the time to tell me what I needed and walked me through how to fix my problem. Can't say enough good about these guys. If he did try to repair it, he would have to take it back to their shop and the labor/materials would be more than half the cost of a new unit. Master Appliance sells Speed Queens and the cost for the washer/installation/delivery/haulaway was much cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot to replace our current GE model. Plus, they delivered and installed it the next day. Family owned and local. Will not hesitate to recommend and refer.

Finally I took the unit into the shop and was told now that I had passed 30 days ( by 3 days) my only option was to sell it my self and buy a new one since I can't use the original one I offered to pay the difference in the models prices and $100 L and L said no. I then asked if they could help me out on the price of the second unit and was told no discounts were available When I returned home I found they have a 10 percent off coupon on purchases over $75 in a local flyer my weedeater was over $500 ! I have known both the previous owners and had a great deal of respect for Ted who recently passed away I am sure he would be ashamed of the way I was treated.
