Really nice hotel in a great area with views. Very close to a lot of things. I was in town for work and this was a very pleasant stay. The WeWork was conveniently located right across the street. There's also a Sprouts supermarket and a lot of good options around the way. The steak and risotto in the downstairs restaurant were amazing Bar tender was a really nice guy too. 5th floor balcony with a Mountain View.

Solid Marriott with really friendly, to the point they are cheerful, and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, quiet and showing some signs of wear. But clean overall. Lots of shops, restaurants and grocery just outside the front door.

Nice easy weekend at The Boulder Marriott! Classic Marriott style, fireplace, great coffee, American breakfast, and Super Bowl banter in background!! Lobby is full of lounging spaces, low and high top tables, comfy couches, and personal dining trays. Staff is attentive and personable and quick with a conversation! What a great American Weekend - Valentines and the Super Bowl!! Marriott is celebrating both!!

I had to go to Boulder for a family emergency. Staying here was my respite from what was happening. Everyone was so nice, they are practicing very good Covid precautions, my room was spacious and clean. I asked for a room with a view and she gave me one. I was able to use the pool all to myself by reserving it. It just could not have been better.

Stayed here recently for work. From the outside, the hotel looks a little dated, but once inside it is clear it underwent a great remodel to make it more modern. The new rooms are nice. I loved that the glass doors towards the outdoors opened to get fresh air. The showers are great. The lobby bar was ok. Nothing special, but an open welcoming space with a pool table and several TVs. The club room was nice and large. Plenty of places to hang out and work while enjoying the free beverages and breakfast. It is centrally locates. Strangely located in the parking lot of a grocery store and some other shopping that has clearly grown up around it, but a short drive or bike ride to Pearl Street, CU and several local breweries.

The property itself seemed recently redone and was pretty nice. The DETAILS, however, left a lot to be desired. The front desk people wore casual out to dinner clothes (while everyone else was full Marriott attired). There was a pile of puke in the garage for at least 24 hours (and mandated $20 garage parking even with the restaurants closed and all the ground level spots were open). Stains on furniture and garbage in the halls that never moved. Could be a star, but needs some serious polishing.

I didn't get a chance to stay here, but came here for a conference. They were nothing but great! Starting from walking into the door, the concierge desk was courteous and helpful right away. The lobby has two fruit-infused waters that became my weekend addiction (you guys gotta try it)! The restrooms were clean and we each stall had a private sinks in them. The bar and restaurant were very friendly and served us free coffee until 10am everyday. The lounge area in the lobby was relaxing and inviting. The service and amenities here piqued my interest in staying here in the future.

Probably one of the worst rooms I've had in quite some time. Like many of the other complaints the rooms are gross. Maybe it's because it's only $100 a night for the most basic room and I guess you get what you pay for, but I feel like a hotel should feel like a hotel not a motel! The shower curtain was disgusting, the sink didn't drain, hair and fuzzies on bed sheet, stains on floor, cracks in the ceiling, and the outer side of the toilet looked to have dried up urine next to the bolts of the toilet. I can't express how unhappy I was! We were only staying a night so we made it work, but I will never go back. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

We drove thirty minutes to boulder and she had the alpine massage which she raved about and loved but I had the mountain lavender massage and it was average at best. We had called the day prior to reserve the crystal mat for me and when I arrived they didn't have it. The lady doing my massage went out from the room, went to talk to some people and then came back and told me it was "in use". She then said she'd add on hot stones at no charge. They also cut my massage short as a result of it and yes we were about 4-5 minutes late but they were a bit disorganized. I paid for a 50 minute and really only got about a 30-35 minute and it wasn't all my fault. My therapist was alright but flustered and didn't ask me about pressure etc. It felt very rushed and I wasn't relaxed so for the price I paid I was honestly was pretty unhappy about it. Facilities were nice though- there is a sauna and steam room and you do get to use the hotel jacuzzi and pool. Again, to that add however the facilities were being taken up by a large bridal shower group and they were using all of the two personal change rooms and get ready space. It was very inconvenient to say the least and for someone paying, it felt like I was overlooked and maybe even a little in the way. I wouldn't be back based on the experience, for such a high end price tag I really felt service and experience would have been better. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend either.

The rooms are very ordinary, not as they appear when you are booking. It's also in a great location--very close to the University of Colorado Boulder and walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants. The lobby is definitely the highlight--absolutely beautiful with intricate details, a vintage glass ceiling, and a grand, elegant feel that gives you a sense of the building's history. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was also well-maintained. The surrounding area felt safe, which we appreciated. That said, the room itself was a bit dark, which seems pretty typical for many American hotels. The biggest downside for us was the required valet parking. It meant we never really had easy access to our car unless we wanted to go through the hassle of requesting it every time. Because of that, we ended up just using Uber the whole stay. Personally, I would much rather just pay to park and have direct access to my own vehicle. To be fair, the valet staff were always very friendly and welcoming whenever we came and went. We also ran into some minor inconveniences--there didn't seem to be enough robes, towels, or washcloths available during our stay. Overall, it was fine for a short visit. The lobby is stunning and the location is excellent, but the valet situation alone would make me choose somewhere else next time.

I also liked the lobby where we could all cowork a bit. The average: the cost was manageable for a work trip, but it's still pricey like all things in Boulder. It's the value option but would be a high end price point in a lot of places. Location? Pretty good. Not a walk to the farmers' market or Pearl Street, but certainly very close to many things (including breakfast at The Buff across the street) and a very short drive to many things you'd want to be near. The main issue this time was they only had one working elevator the entire weekend we were here. It's the only way to the parking garage and there were times I was waiting 10-15 minutes per session which was insane. Staff sort of tried to play it off (what are they supposed to do?) but it was a thing. The parking garage was also jam packed on this weekend, which wasn't the case last time. We struggled to find spots multiple times, and if I hadn't committed to already adding the $27 parking fee per day, I might've tried for some street parking to save time and money. It can be very tight turning into it as well. A couple other nice touches: I liked that they had decent coffee available in the lobby during the mornings, and a cold filtered water station. The bar wasn't open which would've been nice as we all unwound after an event, but it is what it is. This one hit most boxes the first time around, but didn't quite pan out perfectly on round two. I'll consider it if traveling to Boulder, but will probably look elsewhere first.

The room itself and the bed and linen were clean, but the floor of the tub was so brown that I could not take a shower in it. The TV did not work, and there was no air-conditioning. I was attending a conference in downtown Boulder, but looking for inexpensive, yet safe, accommodation. The reviews for Boulder University Inn were remarkably good for the price point, so I booked. When we arrived, I was a bit skeptical given the outside appearance. It looked like an old motel. Checking in at the front desk was easy and pleasant enough. It felt like a small, old school motel, which was different than the big hotel chains I'm used to, but it had its own kind of charm. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The real charm came from the service though. Samantha was at the front desk and when my sister and I asked about the safety of the area (in terms of walking to Downtown Boulder and back, possibly at night), she gave us great info and made us feel comfortable. I was thankful though that the bed and pillows were comfortable enough to sleep well in. The towels are rough and cheap or old maybe? The bathroom counter needed repair. Just overall not good. Upon first arrival to the inn we walked in to be greeted by one in tact and one half eaten small muffin on the food bar which I guess was the snack offering as it was on a little service dish not an individuals plate. Super uninviting. The parking was great though and appreciated. We did enjoy the Great Room a little while during our stay which was cozy. When we got back from our dinner on Friday evening just before 9pm we wanted a cup of hot tea for bed and there was no longer any hot water on the beverage bar. What a disappointment. I will also say the tea choices were worse than that at a Hampton Inn. Very basic and not even close to even what a mid level hotel offers. The breakfast was nice. Quiche looked amazing but by the time we came down to eat at 9:45 which I understand is 15 minutes before it ended - the warmer was off and the quiche was cold. We did grab a muffin which tasted like it was from Safeway or Costco but it helped as we were hungry. Instead we had to eat a light bite across the street at the cafe. Another disappointment. Overall what could and should have been a really special experience felt like a run down room with a mediocre breakfast experience. I came with my adult daughter to celebrate her 26th birthday and I have to be honest and say that I felt terrible that I chose this inn.
