The Hilton Garden Inn is a great stay option in Boulder! I stayed for two night while in town for a work trip and had a great experience. It's a modern hotel with a large Lobby hang out space which I always appreciate. There is also a really great outdoor space with umbrellas for hot sunny days and string lights to set the vibes for night hangs. It's also in a great location, just a quick 5-10 minute drive to all the happenings on Pearl Street. The room itself was a decent size with double beds, but it didn't feel overly crowded. The beds and bedding were so comfortable after a long day! In the morning there is a buffet style breakfast and complimentary coffee. The coffee was actually so good! Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and it's a great budget-friendly option! read more

Check in was easy, but the front desk person seemed stressed out making sure she had all her papers in order. Pros: The room was really nice. We got the corner unit top floor with a snack bag. I'm glad we purged on the extra. I was pleased with the room overall. I liked how the parking is underground and controlled. Cons: The front desk person did not tell us where the pool is and the elevator "directory" also did not say. We found out the pool is on P2, where parking is. Also we weren't told the bar will be closed, this is on a Thuesday night at 6 pm. We didn't think breakfast ended at 9:30, I thought I read 10. When we went down at 9:28 we were told very rudely to get away from the breakfast buffet. When I went down earlier the "buffet" consisted of potatoes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Oatmeal was also provided along with maybe 5 different cold items.l I could have paid $16 for 2 pancakes and 3 pieces of bacon. Not worth it in my mind. Those pancakes though would have to have very special ingredients to make it worth it. Recommended? Maybe. I enjoyed the room and they do have room service. I didn't do it. But I would stay here again just for the room and the location. read more

I still like this hotel on my second stay, but might consider another next time around. The good: bed was comfortable, shower was nice, and you can prop the window open for a little mountain air. I also liked the lobby where we could all cowork a bit. The average: the cost was manageable for a work trip, but it's still pricey like all things in Boulder. It's the value option but would be a high end price point in a lot of places. Location? Pretty good. Not a walk to the farmers' market or Pearl Street, but certainly very close to many things (including breakfast at The Buff across the street) and a very short drive to many things you'd want to be near. The main issue this time was they only had one working elevator the entire weekend we were here. It's the only way to the parking garage and there were times I was waiting 10-15 minutes per session which was insane. Staff sort of tried to play it off (what are they supposed to do?) but it was a thing. The parking garage was also jam packed on this weekend, which wasn't the case last time. We struggled to find spots multiple times, and if I hadn't committed to already adding the $27 parking fee per day, I might've tried for some street parking to save time and money. It can be very tight turning into it as well. A couple other nice touches: I liked that they had decent coffee available in the lobby during the mornings, and a cold filtered water station. The bar wasn't open which would've been nice as we all unwound after an event, but it is what it is. This one hit most boxes the first time around, but didn't quite pan out perfectly on round two. I'll consider it if traveling to Boulder, but will probably look elsewhere first. read more

Solid Hilton. We were in town for work, and spent an enjoyable two nights here. It's walkable to shops and restaurants, and a very short drive over to the happenings of Pearl Street. So as far as location goes, this was great. I thought this hotel to be very clean and well kept. It has updated, modern decor (especially the lobby with funky furniture, CO-themed climbing ropes, hanging swings, etc). Plus their outdoor patio space adjacent to the lobby is very welcoming, with fire pits and plenty of seating. Room itself was nice and spacious. Again, certainly updated in terms of furniture, fun wall air, and decor. Comfy beds/bedding, bathroom was nice, and the tv had tons of streaming options. The elevator here could probably use a tune up, but besides that everything about our stay was seamless. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for a future stay. read more

The Hilton Garden Inn was surprisingly nice! Maybe my expectations were low or my mind was in other places, but this hotel made for a pleasant stay. The hotel lobby appears recently remodeled and has lots of space for seating. The outdoor patio is even bigger, with fire pits, and tons of room for sitting al fresco. Near the front desk is a grab and go store with various snacks, drinks, toiletries, medicine, etc. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. WiFi was efficient. The shower pressure was like getting hit by Niagara Falls and honestly I'm here for it! Only drawback for me was the loud air conditioning when it kicked in. Like, you had to increase the volume on the television, and then lower the volume when it stopped. I didn't take advantage of the amenities (pool, dining, gym) due to my work schedule. However we did hang out by the fire pits and these are a nice touch. Now, one of them wasn't working and the other was going in and out, but the fact they had them was a win. Personally not a fan of the parking situation underneath the hotel. It shares a lot with the other hotels and businesses, and the parking spaces are way too tight. Parking isn't included and charged to your room upon checkout. Pros are free coffee in the lobby, walking distance to The Buff and Twenty Ninth Street Mall, and overall an engaging staff willing to accommodate your needs. This was one of the few reasonably priced hotels in the area and it ended up being a great option for us! LOCATION Within walking distance to a few restaurants and shops, and a few miles driving to Pearl Street Mall. LOBBY I loved the lobby vibe: bright, lively, and definitely geared towards a Colorado audience with climbing ropes and such for decor! I really like the amount of seating available here, and the variety: couches, tables, swinging chairs, etc. They even have some seating around gas firepits out in the open-air middle area. We had some trouble with the firepits coming on or staying on, but the staff did their best to help us get them working! ROOM The room is spacious! I was a little weirded out by the decor on the walls: drawings of random animals and topics? It was a bit busy for me - not the usual serene, simple hotel room. Great shower and water pressure, with decent quality shampoo/conditioner/soap. The whole bathroom seemed recently updated! The bed and pillows were comfortable. I LOVED that they had an openable window - great for getting fresh air in! Wifi worked well both in the room and the lobby. Overall, a great option in Boulder that won't break the bank! read more

Do not stay here. They told us parking was covered and after we left, charged over $100 to my card for parking. When I called the hotel to get help, the front desk person was rude, then hung up on me, and no one would help me when I called back over and over. This is the only Hilton Garden Inn that has given my family such a horrible experience! I will never stay at one again. read more

This is the place I usually stay when visiting Boulder this time however there was a distinct lack of amenities in my room, two paper cups and one hot water paper cup, zero toiletries beyond one small bar of soap, our body wash is empty and there's not even a luggage rack to put my suitcase... so we had to fetch plastic cups for things like soaking retainers or having bedside water at night, glassware would have been nice. One major frustration that is not new is the coffee shop has incredibly limited hours and fairly high prices, after 10:30 coffee is unavailable which as a Seattleite I find bizarre, do people here never have coffee with lunch or in the afternoon? On my last night I slept very poorly, the climate control in our room keeps having its settings changed so I had to get up in the middle of the night due to it being 75 degrees in our room (in October) to fiddle with it in the dark even though I had previously set it to auto and was manually lowering it for sleeping and it kept being put back to or reverting to fan. Due to my lack of sleep in this very hot room I decided I was going to order breakfast in except you can't order room service while breakfast is being served in the lobby?? Why?? The food is right there, it's made, I'm exhausted from sleeping 3 hours and willing to pay a premium for you to bring it to me, I see zero reason for the lobby serving food to be a conflict with providing room service, their loss I guess since I won't be ordering breakfast at all now. Overall I found this stay to be more barebones than before and I find the room service issue to be needlessly frustrating. The last issue is they place a card in your room asking you to tip the cleaning service, which I did, but how about you pay your workers fair wages and don't rely on your guests to subsidize low wages? Our room was serviced 3 times over 6 days and much was just making beds and taking out trash, I appreciate that but is that "tip worthy service"? I don't think so but I'm also not willing to leave their cleaning employees high and dry if they pay so little they're forcing them to beg for tips. I think it might be time for me to find an upgrade. I'd still recommend the place but it's just not what I'm personally looking for. read more

Hilton - help your staff! Horrible experience at this hotel. Staff tries to overcome hotel shortcomings BUT it Takes forever to check in with the smallest front desk I've ever seen. The property has an ENTIRE side directly adjacent to a local highway- all night you will hear traffic, rumbling trucks and Sun will fill your room first thing in the morning because cheap curtains don't keep it out. We checked out EARLY after not sleeping for reasons explained to find only one elevator working and the cleaning staff was stuck waiting for ONE elevator overflowing with guests because even that one was slow.. When elevator finally came We made room for one cleaning cart we felt so bad for them. Cheap beds cheap bedding, rough towels you may as well be at a cheap motel roadside. Spend the extra $35 - stay somewhere else. Splendid experience at Embassy Suites next door - more $$ but worth every penny! read more

Very bright nightlight that one cannot turn off. It lit up the entire room. We ended up putting luggage in front of it in the middle of the night. The kerig coffee machine did not work. Front desk staff simply said "there's a trick to it", even though we followed instructions. There was already water in it, so the last guest probably couldn't get it to work either! read more

Bed Bugs...Need I say more. This hotel is filthy. I am traveling with 4 colleagues and we each had to change rooms multiple times for these reasons: Bed bugs (2 rooms), Toenail clippings, blood stains, hairs in beds, beds that look like someone slept in them before us, filthy floors. This place does not integrate with booking.com at all. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and Hilton told me they couldn't adjust the dates because it was through a 3rd party app. They wouldn't help me in anyway. Most hotels are usually reasonable if booking.com asks them to make a cancellation exception and Hilton wouldn't and charged me over $2000 to not stay there. No one on the phone at Hilton would help me. They told me they couldn't even see the reservation on their end because it was booked through a third party app. I was given constant mixed responses from not being able to help me to not be able to find the reservation to saying it was cancelled and then calling me to see when I was going to check in. It was an absolute nightmare and completely unreasonable. They were consistently rude on the phone, gave me pre-scripted responses about how I can't accumulate points if I go through booking.com which is not what I was calling or asking about, and refused to help me or work with me in any way. I had a lot of family who used to book her when staying in town and I'm definitely going to make sure none of them book here anymore. read more

I was in Boulder for business for a few days this week and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is only a few years old and in a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is nice and clean and there's service every day (in these post Covid days, not all hotels have that). The rooms are fine...comfy bed, large TV, and bathroom with walk in shower. There's a great outdoor patio with fire pits. When you check in, they offer you a free glass of wine or local beer. Hard to complain about that! Also, complimentary coffee in the AM! read more

In town for a Boulder wedding, this Hilton Garden Inn was one of a few options that was sent to us by the brides... It's new, conveniently located, moderately priced, and worked out well for our two night stay. It's worth noting that we had no issues at all with friendly service, hot water, water pressure, wifi, room keys working, etc... This hotel also has some complimentary coffee out in the mornings and apples / cookies later in the day. The fitness room is on the small side, but it does the job. I believe that as a hotel guest, you can also get access to the nearby Embassy Suites pool if you request it. This is a solid four star hotel and I would absolutely keep it in mind as an option for future visits to the Boulder area. read more

Stayed here for a wedding and the hotel lobby is unique, lots of vibrant art. They also offer you a welcome beer which is nice. The location is great too, it's pretty close to everything you'd wan to do in Boulder from Pearl street to some great hikes. The staff is also nice and attentive. However, the room itself wasn't that clean, the AC unit is incredibly loud and the soap in the shower made me break out. I came here in the summer so you have to turn the air on but that also means you probably won't get any sleep. There's also no water in the room and the water filter on the first floor they only have tiny cups. The pool is also not great, it's located across the street and it's TINY. Honestly, don't bother going over there. After 6 people, it's basically at capacity and unfortunately because of the size, it immediately doesn't feel clean when there's more than 2 people in it. If you're not planning to spend any time in the hotel, it's a good option but if you want somewhere where you can relax in the lobby or by the pool, this isn't the best option. read more

The room I had was above average and the hotel overall was clean and well appointed. The food was also quite good. I had a grilled romain salad and fish taco that were very tasty. Hilton Garden Inn was almost perfect, almost. I had difficulty finding anything under $200 for the night. Hilton Garden Inn happened to be one of the cheaper options for the night, the room came to $198 before parking. I booked it and didn't think back. I pulled up in front, this hotel had a little driveway entrance that is directly across the street from another hotel, they sort of share a driveway and then split accordingly. I put my hazards on and went inside. I needed a bell cart and the gentleman at the front desk showed me where they were. The service wasn't as hands on as the hotel I stayed at in Denver, but to be honest, I was perfecty capable of unloading 3 bags myself, putting them onto a bell cart and bringing them up to my room. It saved me a couple bucks anyways. The man at the front desk was nice, he gave me some dinner recommendations for the evening and when he heard my sad story about how I was spending my 30th birthday alone he allowed me to park in the garage downstairs free of charge. I was very grateful for this gesture as I was spending a TON of money during this little vacation. Parking was actually difficult because making the right turn from the front of the hotel down into the parking garage was TIGHT. I mean, tight tight, I had to back up, do a little maneuver, drive forward, reverse again. It was scary and I am definitely a good drive. I thought I was going to side swipe the rental car into the ticket booth and that would have made for a rough night. I didn't though, eventually found parking and took the elevator directly up to my floor, very convenient after all. So lets talk about the hotel. What a gorgeous, gorgeous and I cannot stress this enough, GORGEOUS lobby. I probably could have hung out there all night and morning and to be honest, I did spend more time there than the normal guest probably does. I was in love. The lobby had jaw-dropping decor, right out of HGTV magazine, I mean, Joanna Gaines & Chip would be proud with a capital P. It was rustic, modern, a little chic, totally hip all the good decor buzz words. They had an electrical fire with a flat screen television flush to the wall, comfy chairs, a long dining room table with gorgeous centerpieces and succulents, a desk to do work, various other tables and chairs, a beautiful exposed brick wall with a super modern couch and coffee table lined with more succulents and table top pieces that just worked perfectly. Books on Colorado with fun things to do and see, swinging chairs from the ceiling, funky colored carpets. Stringing lights, a roaring fire pit outside with chairs and corn hole. Honestly could have vacationed in the the hotel alone for the day. Did I mention there was a full service bar with food and a super spunky bartender. Everything was just lovely, was having a great time. ....And then I clogged the toilet. Yup, me. I'll get to that in a moment. The bedroom door was annoying because I couldn't get it to stay open while I was trying to swing the bell cart in, that was a scene let me tell you. The room was enormous. Literally huge, could have done a workout in there, calisthenics approved king size room, for sure. They gave two complimentary 16 ounce water bottles, had a mini fridge, television, big bed, view was just the little shopping center across the way. This is just me, I have a pet peeve of the door between the conjoined room across the way. It makes me feel, unsafe, that's weird right, it's totally weird but there was a door to get to the room next to mine, obviously inaccessible to the guests but still, it's just my little thing, I don't like that. Anyways, got ready quickly and went down to the bar for a cocktail. Can't remember the bartenders name, so friendly though, he was great! It was a Monday night there were maybe 4 other people at the bar, solo, great hotel to stay at alone. Got back several hours later and needed snacks, the hotel had a little convenience area behind the front desk and I was able to grab what I wanted to put it on my hotel tab. No vending machines on the floors. Come morning, I clogged the toilet and there was no plunger in the room, embarrassing. So I called down to the front desk, a woman told me she was phoning engineering (so dramatic) and they'd be right up. Over an hour later, nothing. So I called back, same woman, I said hey the toilet is still clogged she said I'll try them again and hung up. Waited ANOTHER 30 minutes, no help. So I went down to the lobby to use their bathroom, they had complimentary breakfast set up, I grabbed a coffee and went to their amazing lobby and enjoyed it in one of their swings. So relaxing, so enjoyable, loved every second. Went back upstairs, still no plumber so I called the front desk, got a gentleman this time told him the deal, he had engineering to my room in 30 seconds. Thank you gentlemen, no thank you to the female who I thought would be sensitive to my issue. Anyways, LOVED this hotel. Hated the toilet. read more

I have to only give the HGI only three stars for not paying attention to detail. On the surface it looks great, very clean, and a decent staff. I say only decent because on Check in...two staff members were at the desk, & it was obvious one was being trained, but never acknowledged that I was standing there waiting...and I am HARD TO MISS...so I had to wait for the representative that was already helping a customer to finish before ANYONE would acknowledge me. The actual room is where I began to notice that details were overlooked. The shower handle came off in my hand on day one...I put it back on and took a shower...I thought they just had low water pressure as part of some Go Green campaign, but I found out from another guest that her water pressure was Great. So I thought it was just our shower but had low pressure in the sink as well. The handle to close the Shower Door was loose as well...I tried to tighten it but it requires an Allen Wrench. On my last day the whole shower handle assembly fell off in my hand...so I had to put it back on...not a big deal and a 30 sec fix, but by now I am wondering if anything in this hotel works the way it was designed. I was part of a group that stayed at HGI for the week and they did provide a decent breakfast, but by day two I gave up...the food was definitely heat & serve...the eggs, potatoes, pancakes, & french toast were all BLAH...no effort but effective. There were two toasters capable of toasting 4 slices of bread... NEITHER one of them worked, yet they were out there everyday. NOTE: When you Check in...if you have a vehicle DO NOT FORGET to get your room key activated for the garage entrance as well...this is important facts because NUMEROUS of us were t informed until we tried to park, but had to go back to the Front Desk. As a Hilton Rewards member...I was disappointed in the lack of attention to the little things...the Cover of the Book is beautiful, but the book lacks distance. read more

Stayed here for a few nights. I had items left for me at the front desk and called them soon after (like 30 Min from leaving the hotel) to see if they could send them to me. I would pay the postage. 2 different clerks told me straight that they don't send out items...umm...ok. If I had left something expensive, then I would be out of luck? I had bought a few items for my partner and nephew. They meant something. Mind you, Hilton Garden Inn website says they'll get you your stuff back but this place told me they don't do that? After being transferred to a manager, they finally said, go to this website and fill it out a form. We'll reach back out to you. Days go by. Reach out again, they didn't receive it. It's backwards that as a guest they don't care about customer service enough to return items. The items were left at the front desk when I checked out with the same clerk that took them. Hands down the nicest Hilton Garden Inn I have ever stayed at. This hotel is very centrally located and so close to so many things to walk to just wish I would have more time to explore. My room was super nice and super modern (this is a newer hotel) not like in HGI I have stayed at and I stay a ton with Hilton properties. Walking in huge open concept with bar area, bathroom and really nice sized living room with all the normal living g room amenities and a pull out sofa. In addition the bedroom really nice sized as well and another adjoining bathroom complete with 2 showers. This hotel room would be perfect for anyone traveling with kids because everyone can have their own space and no one would be bumping into each other. They also have a very nice bar area that we took advantage of at night and the bartender wish i would've caught her name she was so friendly. In the morning they have a breakfast buffet or they also have a chef that will pretty much make you what you want. I took advantage of a perfectly made omelette and crispy bacon. Both were perfect and all the staff especially the chef was super nice. I absolutely loved the experience here and if and when I am back in Boulder I know exactly where I am staying. read more

The male clerk lacked customer service skills. And seemed to be bothered by reasonable requests such as a bottle of water. The room was nice and clean. It was difficult to have a good night sleep either very loud AC equipment noise. The main lobby has LOUD music all the time. The hotel does not have a business or office area. When asked, they pointed me to a corner in the main lobby with a desk and a chair where it was impossible to do anything due to the loud music. read more

Nice, newer hotel in this price range. Great location. The young lady running the bar was very nice but the check-in people could use some customer service seminars. Between 5-7 pm there are half price drinks at the bar. Several lounge areas to relax, nice courtyard. $20.00 night parking fee (underground parking.) Restaurant attached, no complimentary breakfast. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Our room faced 28th st and bt1-2 am people race their loud cars and motorcycles up and down the street! That woke us up. I would highly recommend. Things to keep in mind: - overnight parking is $18 - breakfast is $16 If price is the same as in the Embassy Suites that's located right near -- stay there instead: breakfast is included there. Suggestions: - even though breakfast is really good (with omelette station), do NOT order coffee, just use drip coffee. I am passionate about latte, and the baristas here .. are not really baristas. This is a new facility and it has been built for comfort from the moment you walk in to the moment you go to sleep. I really feel that Hilton has taken notice of the Boulder area and has incorporated a local feel into its presentation. Since staying here I walked around to compare other hotels just out of curiosity, and I have to say that I would choose this hotel all over again, based on reception areas and ground floor decor. The staff is much more than pleasant and extremely helpful. I asked numerous questions about the surrounding area and everyone I accosted was very knowledgeable and willing to help me. Pros: Nice decor at the lobby, the fire pits are nice outside, quick response at front desk with friendly staff, you can adjust ac and heat to just about any temp in the room, spacious room, bed itself is comfy, bar in hotel available from 5-10pm, lots of places to shop/eat around the hotel, lots of light available in the room (lamps, overhead lights), the microwave and small fridge in the room are very useful, the room is clean and smelled nice, you are given plenty of towels, there is a free water and ice station on each floor which is very useful also Cons: The ac and heat unit is loud all day and every night and sort of makes bang sounds every 20mins when it kicks on (I suggest turning on the fan throughout the night to somewhat drown out the loud unit), starting at about 8:30am every morning you will hear the staff cleaning very loudly in the rooms next to you (slamming the toilet bowl down and the small fridge door closed, cleaning in between small wall spaces, vacuuming, etc), no hand soap given in the bathroom, you are only given a sheet and a very thin blanket on the bed but at least you can adjust the heat while you're cold throughout the night, the food at the bar is subpar to say the least, there is a pool but located at the embassy suites across the street and you have to go there to ask for (the pool is not even worth the trouble but it is heated!) the electronic keys to get to your floor/in the room/to get to the pool are just frustrating bc they only work here and there..I ran into multiple guests that spoke to me about their frustration regarding the keys and we laughed about it read more
