    World Cup ranch water
    Aruni G.

Dropped by to meet a few friends here last week to watch them play pickleball. They also had screens with the World Cup playing. I ordered one drink at the bar which was a fun World Cup ranch water with pineapple tequila or something. We sat outside and thankfully it was a bit shady with a fan nearby. It wasn't that crowded that day because there wasn't one of the big games on. It's a nice place to go for a chill snack and drink on the patio while watching a game on TV or watching folks play pickleball.

So this is our first time here and so far I'm lovin it .. the nachos are great and they have a footlong corn dog that has lemon pepper seasoning on it oh my goodness is all I can say! Who would've thunk it! Service is quite busy you gotta get in where you fit in.. but everyone is very pleasant and glad to see you.. very sporty atmosphere we're here to watch the US vs Australia in soccer so you can only image who everyone is rooting for

The compound contains CM Smokehouse and a separate indoor/outdoor (huge) bar area with covered outdoor seating and... pickleball courts. Great all around setup, and cool to duck in for some beers and brisket, burgers and fries. Food was excellent, they bring it to you at the table, and the bar was tight. Misters i. the outdoors area were the hot ticket. Cool spot off the main drag -- in fact you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't walk behind the building--- very chill and loose.

We came here to watch the UT vs Vanderbilt game! Parking is obviously a challenge, and don't park at the CVS/Office Depot lot a block away because you WILL get booted. I was surprised to find a little gift/souvenir shop when I walked in, but quickly realizing the party's behind the second set of doors! They have covered and uncovered seating options and several TV screens. Not all of them were on, so I wonder what situation would call for all of them to be on.... The food ordering is through a QR code sticker on each table. When we went, they had a cute fall display for photo ops and a photo booth that is more permanent. I ordered the brisket & egg biscuit as well as the sweet potato fries. Didn't finish the fries but they were decently good even a little soggy! They also were super generous with the number of ketchup packets - I got 3 but only used 1. My only comment is that the bathroom was not the best, but it's definitely miles ahead a porta potty! Also shocked at how small the bathroom was, given how large crowds can get on game days (of all sports).

Bouldin Acres nails the formula for a great day (or night) out in Austin. Whether you're showing up for the pickleball courts, the drinks, or just to hang with friends, this place checks every box. The pickleball setup is legit--well-maintained courts, plenty of space, and good energy without the pressure of a super competitive vibe. It's casual, fun, and great for groups or beginners looking to try something new. Booking ahead is smart, but even watching others play is part of the fun. The food and drink options are better than you'd expect for a sports-centric venue. Solid local beers on tap, creative cocktails, and a food truck setup with dependable favorites (burgers, tacos, snacks that hit the spot). The service was friendly and quick, even when it got busy. Ambiance-wise, it's classic Austin: laid-back, open-air, and dog-friendly with lots of shaded tables and places to lounge. Whether you come to play, sip, or people-watch, Bouldin Acres delivers a great mix of activity and relaxation. Pro tip: go early to beat the crowds and get a court without a wait.

This is such a great fun place. I like that it's a mix of indoor and outdoor. They have a bunch of TVs to be able to watch the games and then they also have the Pickleball courts to enjoy yourself and play. I do have to say that I love coming here for the food cause it's just delicious. It's a sit down place and order at the bar kind of place. But everyone that works there is always so nice and helpful. When it comes to drinks it's your typical bar so you just order a beer or any kind of mixed cock to let you want so don't expect fancy cocktails. As far as the food goes when I go, I love to order the pulled pork sandwich with tater tots it is phenomenal. My friend got the smash burger and I have to say it was delicious. I took a bite out of that definitely. And for the first time we ordered the giant pretzel which was so good but it is so much you can definitely share that with at least 4 to 5 people. We also got the chips and queso, which was pretty good. I just wished the chips were more of the traditional thick ones versus the thin ones. But honestly, I've been there so many times and tried so many different things you can't go wrong with the food make sure though to always try the pickles there they're delicious.

Interesting place on Lamar. Pickleball, live music, a ton of TVs to watch sports, outdoor seating, and indoor seating. This place has it all. The menu is via QR code. Drinks are around $10 each. The food is ok, truck food. You order via an app, and then it's all delivered to you. The parking lot is oversized for Lamar, but on a busy night, it can be hard to find a spot. Limited exchange with employees per the model, but this place is a well-oiled machine.

Love the concept of Bouldin Acres. I will say that I've gone twice now, once a year or so ago and the second just recently. The rules have changed around kids so be sure to check that out before you decide to head out with your little one(s) and then can't get in. The space is huge, which is nice, and I appreciate the ease of scanning a QR code and ordering and closing your tab from your table. They have a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic options on the menu to choose from. My husband ordered the NA Mango not Tango and it was very tasty. We got the kids cheeseburger with fries and then I had been wanting to try the crunch wrap since I had seen a lot of reviews and advertising around it. I was a bit shocked when I saw the price for just the wrap with no protein ($19) I've been in Austin since 2009 and I know the prices of food are rising everywhere but it seems a little steep for a solo wrap with no sides. At least the portion/size of it was fair and it had good flavor but I most likely wouldn't order it again, paying $22 since I added pulled pork. (The brisket one that everyone talks about and is featured is an additional $4 on the $19.) Overall, I think it's a great option/venue for larger groups that want space and the ability to spread out and come and go but unless it's during HH be prepared to spend some $$.

This is my go to spot in Austin if I'm looking for good vibes, tasty food, and affordable but yummy drinks! I also love how dog friendly it is - they even have a small dog park! It's also a great spot to play pickleball or cornhole but can get really busy so plan accordingly. All in all, a 10/10 spot!

I give this place 4 stars for the vibes. Love that you can play pickle ball here or just have a chill night out with your friends while enjoying bar food/drinks. They are super dog friendly. As for food, didn't love the crunch wrap. The brisket burrito was too salty. I did enjoy the beef fajitas quesadilla though. Very cheesy and not too salty. Sweet potato fries were delicious and addicting. Quick service. Easy to order food on your phone.

Fun day with the teams and plenty of good vibes ;D The service was quick and attentive. The food was tasty too.

Beef Fajita Nachos and Loaded Waffle fries
    Janelle M.

Great place to chill with a ton of open seating! You can play pickleball if you reserve a court or you can just come in for the vibe and the food! It's open seating and it's incredibly easy to order food and drinks. Each table has a QR code you scan. Upon opening the link that QR is essentially tied to your tab and table. When we went we arrived our food within 10 of ordering it! The food was pretty good and decently priced. We got the lo In terms of service there really isn't much because you do everything on your phone and they come to bring that to you but that's about it. For food we got the following: Loaded Waffle Fries Waffle fries topped with brisket, BBQ sauce, queso, & pickled onions There were plenty of crispy waffle fries and the brisket was smoked and tasted amazing. The pickled onions added some acidity that went very well with the brisket and queso. The Loaded waffle fries were my favorite out of the two items. Beef Fajita Nachos Nachos topped with pickled onions, sour cream, chopped beef The nacho chips to toppings ratio was a bit off but over all they tasted good. The beef was sliced into tiny pieces so that you got some in the bites. The rest of the toppings were really good as well overall they were delicious. Great overall experience and hopefully next time we go with enough time to play some pickleball!

I'm very much a fan of Bouldin Acres, as it has just about anything a patio bar enthusiast could ask for: pickleball courts (2), parking, in-and-outdoor seating, TVs, food trucks with veggie options, frozen beverages (frose, pina colada, margarita), and it's dog-friendly with its very own little dog area for the fur babies to run around. It's also kid- and family-friendly. I like how they streamline the food truck orders - you place your order at the bar and it's added to your tab, so there's no need to wait in a long line. Y'all - they have totchos and cauli-wings. I've gone to BA 3-4 times and the service is always friendly. My only suggestion would be to ditch the plastic straws and cups.

Can you make a reservation for a table or is it only first come/first served?

It is way better if you do reservations. Lots of people do, so if you come in without one there might be a wait. The bar is open seating so you can seat as you come in that part of the restaurant.

For reasons that make no sense to any experienced summer festival-goer, the Q2 powers-that-be decided to make this a "no re-entry" event, meaning that attendees are basically locked in the stadium with very few options for relief from the heat. Thank heaven for PointsBet Sports Bar! PointsBet Austin is located inside of Q2 stadium on the north end near the Zebra Gate, up some stairs just to your right as you enter the gate. They have cold air-conditioning, at least one phone recharging station, a few table games, seating for at least 50 people, and standing room for a couple hundred others. Plus, there's a huge horseshoe bar serving plenty of canned and mixed beverages. The whole north wall is floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light. Lastly, there are 18 flatscreens around the walls showing various sporting events and during our concert, a couple were streaming a live view of the concert stage. As expected, prices were "high" (like everything else in Austin these days), but they were in line with pricing available at the other beverage stands outside in the stadium, so we didn't pay any more than we would have out there for the same drink. According to their website, PointsBet opens 3 hours before soccer matches on regular Q2 game days, and it's one of the few air-conditioned places where non-VIP attendees can get a break from the goings-on outside.
