    Biscuit sandwich - bacon egg.
    Gary M.

I went here twice in a week, once for dinner, once for brunch. The pizza (17) was really good. We ordered two, the meat lovers, and the chicken pesto. The crust is thin and the meat lovers could have used just a little bit more sauce but we loved both. The servers were kind and attentive but we were almost done with our meat lovers pizza by the time our pesto pizza arrived at the table. Timing could have been better. For brunch, we had two biscuit sandwiches, one bacon and egg and one chicken and honey. The biscuits (alone) were delicious. Nice and buttery and fluffy, the way I like them. Both sandwiches were fine but it on the smaller side. I'm not sure the bacon and egg was worth $10 even though it was tasty. Maybe 2 for $10 would be a better value. Darcy, our bartender was awesome and the highlight of both our visits was the brunch Velo cocktail which consisted of tequila, St Germaine, passion fruit, and lime juice. It was well crafted, pretty, and most important - delicious! We will be back for the pizza. If we go back for brunch, we'll try the breakfast pizza.

Wow, what a stunning bar. The outside is reminiscent of a beignet spot in NOLA while the inside is reminiscent of an upscale speakeasy or cigar lounge. The inside of the bar is decorated in rich leathers and masculine tones while the bathroom is decorated in Emerald green tile and has clean lines. I came here with my partner last Tuesday after a concert. This upscale bar has craft cocktails, local beers on tap, three frozen craft cocktails, and a full menu featuring burgers, pizzas, and even warm cookies! I ordered four cocktails during my time in the bar, which included two double Hendricks and tonics and two 512's and tonics. Both cocktails were made correctly and mixed well. During our time sitting in the leather chairs across from the bar with my partner enjoying our cocktails, the owner came to our table and offered us samples of warm cookies. The stylish decor, expertly blended cocktail and level of survive makes this definitely a place to frequent late night. #supportlocal

What a beautiful space. Fresh and clean. Feels high end and homey at the same time. Bartenders are welcoming and easy to talk to. Regulars at the bar are chatty. The food looked good. Solid no frills options like BLT, chicken sandwiches, hummus etc. Katie the bar manager was so nice to chat with. Love the local vibes.

First time at Remedy. I went for some food, not drinks. I had a supreme pizza (without the pepperoni), and it was very good. The crust wasn't real thin or thick, and I liked it because it wasn't too bready. I'll have to go back and try some other food items.

Nice cozy neighborhood bar. I came here for trivia night and it did not disappoint (other than the fact that my team went from first place to last place in the last round...I'll be back). We ordered the tater tots and they were delicioso, perfectly fried and a good portion. Something to note is that their kitchen is small so the wait for food does take a while so put in your orders early! I recommend coming on tuesday for trivia night or sunday they also host games i think. Its a very interactive and friendly bar. I didnt order a drink but some people i was with did, and they said it was good quality whiskey.

Remedy was a nice surprise. The inside is upscale and the service good. We enjoyed cocktails and their house made frozen drinks. The biggest surprise was the sliders. More tasty than expected. Btw: Their patio is dog friendly. We will return. This bar is recommended.

Nice people. Great vibe. Local bar feel. They also take pride in their whiskey, bourbon and rye options.

Great space indoors and outdoors. Pretzel was delicious. I had a great old fashioned and my husband had a few beers that he loved. Bathroom is super clean and has fun wallpaper. You can smoke and drink outside on their patio if you want to. Staff is friendly and we had a nice time chatting!

First time in Austin witb my best friend for years, we found ourselves at Remedy while stayin next door at the Wyndam. What an awesome little gem, we are SO GLAD we found it and got to meet Seth & Bridgette, so sweet and attentive, and had us laughing all night! Hope to come back next time we are in Austin! Keep up the good work guys, this place is great!

The Kinda French quesadilla is probably one of the best things I've ever eaten in my entire life and the guacamousse sauce is You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches either (the Poulet Roti Baguette and the Parisian are my personal faves ) and of course the traditional Rotisserie chicken- don't skip on those potatoes either- they are SO good and really tie everything together. Friendly staff overall. The food fell flat for almost all of us. The salads were fresh and good. However, the ribs were below average. Cornbread was stale and not tasty. Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? Not sure if all the burgers are always cooked well-done, but that's how ours were made (and was never asked if I wanted otherwise). Also ordered a side of fried plantains that came with a small cup of ketchup. They were harder than I was expecting, and not to salted. Next time I think I'd just order the fries. Waited at the window to order for several minutes while the guy took a phone call, then had a hard time hearing him take my order since he was still on his call and had his mask on (pandemic issues...and maybe this is where he asked how I wanted my burgers cooked?? Who knows, couldn't hear him!). Then it took awhile for the order to come out. By the time I got the food and back to our table, our friends had already purchased and eaten their food from other food trucks, so that was a bummer. Good option if you're in the food truck park. Just be prepared to spend time waiting to order and get your food. Tip: ask if you can have your burger cooked medium or medium rare. If you prefer it that way, of course.

They were one of the few food trucks in this area that was open during the daytime. The majority of the other options are open later at night when the bar scene is crowded. The bad: The brisket sandwich tasted mostly of just BBQ sauce and the brisket was cut up in small weird chunks. There was melted orange cheese on it that was also unappetizing. We didn't want the caramelized onions so we asked for raw onions but the cashier/cook didn't speak English so the most we could communicate was "no onions." Also, the payment machine was all in Spanish (for selecting tip, signature, etc) so you better brush up on your Spanish if you're paying by credit card! There were cigarette butts on the ground and on the tables and a homeless person hanging out at the benches as well. I ordered fries at first but they were sold out. The interesting: The sandwiches are open-faced.

The parking is shared and gets packed in the evening or you have to pay to park if you are unable to find anything in the lot or on the street. Handsome Dans has a sign directing you to the back where they are located. The vibe is true to a bait shop/diner it's casual with a rustic feel, they have a large covered patio adjacent to Stargazer bar. I highly suggest sitting outside if possible because the inside does get a bit claustrophobic and smokey when it's packed and they are smashing paninis on the press with no proper kitchen overhead vents. The type of greasy smoke you get when you are making super buttery sandwiches on a hot press. The sandwiches are ok but not something I would go out of my way to have ,our kids liked the hotdogs and Frito pies which were also kind of "upper class" gas station quality. Most of the stuff here is food that probably tastes way better after drinking several beers. It's like any normal sandwich you could make at home and toss in a panini press to be honest. Really good beers on tap and friendly staff who seemed to disappear to the back quite a bit and came back confused. They didn't know if they had already given me my food because I was ordering and paying for extra food after more people in our party arrived. They literally saw my food I already had on the table from my previous order and thought they gave me double of what I ordered hahaha. I can't make a judgment because I have no clue what they kept dispersing to the back for but can just say the confusion was real, LOL. All together if I had to come back it be because someone I knew wanted to try it. Otherwise for me it's a one and done. I got the pictures I stood next to a sign ,I had the Signiture sandwiches, now I'm moving on. I can say I've been there done that. I'm guessing that a college crowd or just being a single person who just wants to be amongst people that this is the type of lowkey place to go if you're not into the typical Longhorn hangouts. You stop in ,have some beers, eat a low budget ingredient expensive panini sandwich and chill till you have to call yourself a Waymo cause the beer is good and strong.
