Brought my G37 in for an alternator replacement. Job got done, car runs fine. However they tried to upsell a belt tensioner replacement at $350 for a part that retails at $165 -- I inspected it myself in person and there was no play whatsoever. Also charged near-OEM pricing for an aftermarket NAPA alternator without disclosing that upfront. Work quality seems fine but pricing transparency is a problem. Would recommend getting a second opinion on any additional repairs they suggest. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! My daughter's car service light engine went on so went in after previous year spent 3k "fixing everything". They said needed tuning and half fixed it. THEY LET MY DAUGHTER LEAVE UNFIXED RISKING HER SAFETY. A week later same wonky issues. Luckily a referral friend checked it out. He said everything on the itemized statement WAS NOT DONE! He also stated that only 1out of 4 sparkplugs were tightened and he believes that they did half-ass so she would have to return. Hubs called and they were so nice saying oh you have warranty bring it in. Of course 5 new things were wrong THAT DID NOT COVER WARRANTY. Fascinating how that works. Too add more insults they charge me an additional $180 for "diagnostics". We only took it back cuz they said UNDER WARRANTY. VERY SNEAKY AND SHADY DISHONESTY PEOPLE!!! They should not be allowed to stay in business. read more

I have a 2012 ford focus, transmission started slipping couldn't afford the 10 grand to put a brand new one in nor would I want to in this car because obviously it's an older model but I can't afford to finance right now so they said that they could handle a rebuild they ended up in Kahoots with some company that has used ones and this company comes down and brings a transmission. Put it in your car instead of being 10 grand this one they quoted five 5 1/2 and it ended up being over seven grand and then to find out that for two years if something happens or it breaks, BOULEVARD automotive doesn't even have any labor cost. This company pays them so they're not losing any money at all so I get it done. I know that there's something wrong with it which I told them that it wasn't quite right. They didn't understand what I was talking about so It wasn't even six months and it started slipping AGAIN!!! just picked it up today to find out that covered doesn't mean covered of course but they made me pay $214 for transmission fluid !! They don't even have to worry about any any loss because they're paid by this company that covers the warranty on the transmission so they're not losing anything and they still wouldn't cover my fluids even though It failed within 6 months??!! so I'm sure in six months I'll have to come in again and half to bend over again and pay $214 !!! I will never take my car there or recommend it to anybody ever. Screw this place!!! read more

The owner parked my car parallel so I could just drive off, and with a huge smile he opened my door. The lady who answered the phone her name was Maddi, was so kind and she found a way to book me the same day, when I drove up she came out of the office to greet me. My 20 year plus highlander did not pass the smog test. I went to the dealer and when I received the bid decided to get a second opinion. Whereas the dealer was extremely vague with lots of caveats with a very high initial diagnostic fee, Boulevard explained the process of how the diagnostic would proceed and a range of costs of the alternatives. They completed the diagnostic and fixed the problem at just a little more than what the dealer has estimated for the diagnostic. The staff kept us informed of the status during the process. When we called the shop we were told to tow it anywhere that offered Napa Warranty Agreement. That is the only reason we didn't tow it to you guys. Had you provided accurate information we wouldn't have paid to tow it somewhere that couldn't cover it under warranty. You clearly knew the employee that told us this was incorrect which is why you then offered to pay the towing to have it brought to your shop. We should've never had to pay for this since this was offered for giving us false info. Taking some fault for the part you guys played in this would be much appreciated. Also, I have multiple cars over the years that have been worked on at your shop and I've had two friends that have also had cars worked on your shop while living with me so to try and belittle how much I've used you guys is a huge disappointment. read more

They had great prices, and my car is back and running so amazing! I had a battery and alternator replacement, amongst other things, I felt like my car was in good hands leaving it with them. I really loved that they directly texted me a link so to check in on all the updates on my car! No more wondering what's happening, and how the timeline is moving, I just click on the link they sent me and I'm all up to date! And let's talk about the detailing service... I had never had my car professionally detailed in my almost 10 years of owning it. The drivers seat used to be dark brown I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it when I got it back! Ok. I reviewed this place 12 years ago with a 5 star and my review stands strong 12 years later.. if i could give a 7 star I would. They are the absolute best! I've brought a couple different cars to them over the years and they have always been able to help a girl out with whatever the issue. Recently I brought them my BMW X3 with a few issues (yes they could fix it.. DO NOT waste money on going to a BMW dealership) and they went above and beyond to make sure everything got fixed.. followed up, etc etc.. they even drove my car around to clear censors for me so I could pass a smog test bc I was stressed about getting it registered before a big drive.. I prob came in every day for like a week with different questions, things, etc.. they gave me a free loaner car & fixed it all. Went above and beyond.. Plus they are just awesome men. As a car clueless female, I don't always trust mechanics (generally speaking) bc I know nothing about cars.. and never have they made me feel stupid or taken advantage of.. if anything, I feel like they help me out bc they are good people & don't want me to fall into the hands of a shady mechanic.. these guys are just the best. I actually just like them as people too. The owner/manager, Atta, is the sweetest. I'm moving to another state soon and I even asked if they would just relocate their business to my new state bc I dread finding any mechanic as wonderful.. they are fantastic, don't hesitate just go to these guys.
