The line dances at G&C are also very fast-faced so if you are new to line dancing, definitely go on a teaching day. Thirsty Bull is on the opposite side of the spectrum. It is a smaller space with a much older crowd, TVs wrap around the place so it's a great place to catch a game, there's pool tables and other games I didn't check out myself and a mechanical bull for $5 a ride. The instructor at Thirsty Bull was awesome and all-around sweet dude. Unless they change the hours, line dancing lessons start Saturdays at 6:30pm. I couldn't care less for the drinks because I was there to dance. If you're visiting from out of town, Thirsty Bull is a MUST!

If you're a cilantro fan, maybe that's your thing, but for me it completely misses what a crab cake should be. The crab itself should be the star, not the herbs. The Food is good, it's mostly the same food with a few additional items in the menu. But is super slow. We've come to this location about 4 times since moving back to Kansas City and every time, service is super slow. We usually go on a weekday around 4:45-5 pm for dinner. And it almost always takes at least 40 minutes or more for our food to come after ordering. The servers rarely come back to check on us. We always have to flag down whoever we see to get our server to come back for ordering, or getting more dressing, or getting our check. We love coming here because it's close and convenient to our home and the food is good, but might have to come up with another option if service is always like this every time we come.

The only improvements I would make are allowing self-service sodas and having a better dessert setup. They had cookies and something else, but neither looked too great. Also, you have to go to the bar to ask for a soda, it really should be self-serve like the united lounges with the choose your own adventure Coca Cola soda fountain. It creates an unnecessary bottleneck and is likely a ploy to get tips for free soda or wine. Actually not even sure the wine if free, i'm confident that it's not up to snuff so I did not bother. Not worth the walk unless you are literally at the gate next-door and even then questionable. I have thought it might be worth a walk because the Priority Pass app said that this was award-winning and it took all I had not to guffaw upon entry.

The burger though was actually really good. Juicy, simple bar food flavors and exactly what I wanted. The fries were crispy and fresh, and it's honestly pretty easy to mess up fries, but they didn't at all. The sundae was the best part for us. Super rich with that hot fudge Ghirardelli brownie and just really fun to dig into with those two big scoops on top. I did feel a little limited on what I could order because I can't handle much heat in my food. If you like spicier leaning bar food, you'll probably have way more options than I did. Service was really good. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and on top of things. The whole Twin Peaks staff vibe is part of the experience, but they were all still super nice and professional, which I appreciated.
