We had the fired up chicken wings - they were good but I didn't like that it was the whole wing connected and therefore only 4 pieces for $16 The Farmhouse salad was awesome! And the Fast Cow burger was awesome! We ordered it on the special BRGR bun instead of the English muffin. Service was quick and friendly, Thanks Steven!

Great atmosphere, the server was hustling and great beer selection. Smash burger is award winning and their most popular. Only issue with it was that it's a double which defeats the purpose of a thin burger in my opinion, but it tasted great. The salad was great too - the half salads are plenty big for one person. Great chips and dip as well. Would go back!

Catching early dinner downtown before a concert. Brgr Kitchen was near by and it is my first time here. We got seated right away since it was still pretty early for dinner. Casual atmosphere. They played great music in the background while we were there and our waitress was attentive. If you like burgers, this place is for you. So many different kind of fixings. I like to try them all. My friend on the other is just a plain burger kind of guy. So he wasn't too impressed. Pricing seem a little high seem high and Al-a -cart style.

Food was great. Very very filling and do not recommend getting the combo sides if you have two people. Cheese curds were fabulous! Service was quick and attentive and the ambiance is fun for a dinner before going out on the town.

We were a pretty large party and our waiter was speedy. Although he wasn't attentive, all of the orders were right. The restaurant is any burger spot and pretty typical. The sweet potato fries were amazing and probably some of the best I've had. As for the burgers I was not impressed. It was way too salty and I only ate a quarter of it. Nothing special but a good quick spot.

Had lunch here while in town for a conference by a recommendation from the hotel! Lots of different types of burgers to choose from, some with lots of flavors some are plain. There's also chicken options, salads, and more! The sides, you order separately, but they do have a combo where you can get three options for $13 we opted for the fries, truffle fries, and tots. I had the jalapeño burger, it was delicious. Not too spicy but very flavorful. Love that the sauces are homemade!!

Amazingly tasty burger despite the smashed burger being unsmashed. Beef aroma elevated the taste. Tots weren't very crispy and there was no truffle. Service was excellent Very nice dining room

There's nothing wrong with a classy burger, and BRGR serves just that- expensive gourmet burgers sans sides (sides served separate) so, just know that coming in. Do not be fooled even though there's no fancy frills with the decor, this is a casual restaurant, the food here is a step above normal bar food and traditional burgers and fries and the prices reflect that. The fun for me really comes in the special burgers they add to the menu every so often...once you've ordered every burger on the menu any variety becomes the spice of life. Sometimes they even host contests to see what burger makes it on the menu. As we know, pickles are having a mega moment, so one of the last burger specials had a pickle theme with fried pickles included. My favorite burgers (yes, plural) that are always on the menu include the Fast Cow, The Knob Hill, The Jalapeño Popper and of course, the classic juicy Lucy. If you feel the urge to splurge definitely add a side to your burger, or a flight of all three. But, if you must choose I say tots however, the sweet potato fries here are some of my favorites I've had anywhere- the house made ranch and ketchups are delectable dips for the fries or tots. Everyone will speak on the pig wings, but to me they aren't a must order instead I would say come during happy hour and order the cheese curds and the pickle fries, but maybe I'm a simple girl. What can I say? I love some fried finger foods with a brew. Anyways, back to the bodacious burgers because they're obviously what BRGR is all about! These are not your average hamburgers , the Juicy Lucy is a classic cheeseburger with a twist because instead of the cheese being on the burger it's inside it, just beware sometimes this burger can be MESSY, but the good kind. Nowadays you can score a summery vibe burger that has pineapple and teriyaki sauce on it, I remember having it last year and loving the sweet and savory combination of flavors. The Fast Cow is a creative sophisticated burger that uses an English muffin as a bun and crusts the patty in deep rich expresso grounds this is balanced out with creamy polarizing bleu cheese, it isn't a burger for the faint of heart. The flavors are big and slightly experimental but, they all work well together with the peppery kick of the arugula going with the bitterness of the coffee grounds and a creamy aioli to tie everything together. My only complaint is sometimes the English muffin bun turns out a tad soggy. The service here is usually pretty good, however, I sit at the bar solo so, I can't really speak on the table service. It can get pretty crowded so, sometimes the servers can get a little overwhelmed. Also, it doesn't stay open late so, it's not a past show spot it's a pre-show dinner place.

Lots of seating and in the heart of downtown! We were seated quickly but took awhile to get our order in/the food itself. I really enjoyed my breakfast burger and fries but a bummer that the fries are to be ordered separately for an additional $5. Overall good burger and cool spot if you're out and about downtown!

Impossible Burger Sweet Potato Fries

Seated quickly but took forever to get a waiter/waitress to take my order. This was around 4:30 pm. Considering it was only 9 people in the restaurant, I'm not sure what the problem was. If you're short staffed, let the customer know before seating in order to avoid wasting time. Seems like the manager had to get, what seemed to be the only waitress working, the waitress attention that she had two other tables. Despite this, when I finally got a waitress she provided great service. The impossible burger was good and the guacamole on top was a nice touch but could've used more flavor. The sweet potato fries were really good! Not sure I would visit again, but if I did, I would hope that I pick a better time when the restaurant is fully staffed.

Hawaiian seasonal burger

We had a pleasant experience here. A beautiful patio with fun views of the old architecture of downtown KC. We got the Hawaiian burger, Brussels to start, and the salmon sandwich. All 3 were satisfying, great choices. I did feel like the Brussels could use some more flavor - it felt like the only strong addition here was the blue cheese.

We stopped in here after a day of volleyball at the KC convention center. Our server was fantastic and had the best suggestions for us to try. We got the popper dip for the table and really enjoyed it. I also had the steakhouse burger with truffle fries and holy moly it's incredible! We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

I did some research beforehand and saw that The Town Company received a James Beard nomination and had numerous glowing reviews, so I made sure to make a reservation a week in advance. The previous night, he had treated me to The Restaurant at 1900, which was fantastic, so we were expecting a meal of that caliber. That was not the case. To begin, the ambiance was fine. It was your typical, trendy upscale hotel restaurant that is dimly lit and has an open kitchen. We ordered the signature rolls, beef tartare, apple endive salad, and short rib-filet plate. After the rolls, everything went downhill, which was a huge disappointment. As for the rolls...who doesn't like a buttery, shokupan-like bread? The cultured butter they came with had a nice tang, but the carrot spread tasted like a salty, carrot-ginger soup concentrate. Not my favorite. After the bread was served, all of the other dishes were served so slowly that we wondered if they had forgotten us. While we were waiting, a server brought us the wrong dish and wordlessly took it away when we politely told them that we hadn't ordered it. Now that I think about it, the waitstaff here reminded me of the employees at Le Labo--same brand of aloof. The apple endive salad could have been delicious, but the amount of dressing overpowered its contents. All I could taste was a sweet, overly-acidic poppyseed dressing reminiscent of a store-bought bottle of Brianna's. I rarely complain that food is overseasoned, but that was the case with the salad and the next dish, the beef tartare. The beef tartare was so overloaded with lime, ginger, chili, lemongrass, and other spices that we couldn't really taste the beef at all. It reminded me of larb, which I wouldn't be mad at if I were ordering a LARB, not an overpriced beef tartare. The most disappointing plate of the night by far was the short rib and filet plate. Upon asking our waitress how many plates we should order, she told us that three small plates and one main dish would be more than enough, since the main, protein-centric dishes were "substantially larger." We were very wrong. We each got a small bite of short rib and one thumb-sized chunk of filet, which was served with--you guessed it--an overly salty, uninspired red wine sauce and giant, salt crystals. The parsnips and brussels sprouts were just...there. By the end of the meal, neither of us could hide our disappointment and decided to opt out of dessert. They brought us a complimentary after-dinner "truffle," which, to me, tasted like artificial fruit cereal and Pop Rocks coated in white chocolate. It was extremely underwhelming and gimmicky, and frankly, I haven't left a restaurant feeling pissed in a while. I was expecting a lot more from the Leach team and probably won't be back, but happy for the folks who enjoy this restaurant.
