I came here looking for a specific gold necklace for my husband for Christmas. This was my first time in a pawn shop. They had a bit of everything there. I told them exactly what i was looking for and my price range and i got exactly what i wanted. The quality of the necklace was good. The shop person was nice enough to try on a few necklaces for me so i could see the length. The person i worked with didn't make me feel like he was haggling or trying to get as much as possible for the item and he didn't force me to buy anything which i appreciated. I was looking for a gold chain, went to a couple other places that were too expensive. Then I decided to come here. The customer service was great. I was assisted by a gentleman named David. He helped me right away and sold me a really nice gold chain at a great price! Hands down the BEST experience ever. If you told me I would find my engagement ring at a pawn shop, I wouldn't believe you. But here I am today, proud to say I found the most beautiful ring at Boulevard Pawn Shop. Chris helped my fiancé and I along the whole way. Not only was the ring very affordable, we were able to pay in payments over a month, and Chris was so kind to take the ring to his jeweler to be completely polished and made it look brand new. I usually never write a review even if the service was horrible, but I think this deserves a review based on the unjust behavior by Chris himself and my Father in heaven does not like when people are treated in such away. 1st off i pawn my very expensive apple Imac 27 inch computer in January, I rec'd 200 something dollars for. True as Chris state its my fault not keeping up with my pawn, although I had stopped by the pawn the 3rd week of May to check on my Pawn, Chris told me i had time it wasn't due until June, given that he was so sweet when I went in to pawn and looking back on that day i dropped in his demeanor was a little deceitful and withdrawn (blew it off)...my pawn was actually due then...he knew exactly what he had in mind... needless to say I took a break from school and just stared back all my material was on it. I went back the 3rd week in June to pick it up...my grace period had ended the week prior...10 day grace period over...he knew i wanted my computer (if someone come to check on their pawn, I'm sure thats an indication)... He said he didn't know where my computer was, they have several locations, he took my number down and said he will try to find it...apparently there's no log of where he sold it or put this Mac computer (so he say... He got rude with me and said its my fault, he stated " I don't have to do anything, you are the one who didnt keep up with your pawn"...The true Chris had surfaced, I tht ok,,,this is true...I should have kept up better. This was a true learning experience for me. I went back several times and he was still saying the same thing he will try to find it in their warehouse somewhere. I learned Just because you are a good person and treat people fairly does not mean this world has the same morals as you do. Also, a true professional and business person does not be in the comments going back and forth with people that wrote their opinion regarding his true behavior...that's a tell-tale sign right there. I was truly disappointed that I didn't look at reviews before... God said bless people that trespasses against you, your enemies, ppl that treat you unfairly. with that being said!!! God Bless you Chris!!! Apparently you need the sell more than I needed my computer... I sure pray it was worth it...God said vengeance is he's says the LORD!!! He truly cares about his customer's needs when they are having a difficult time and their ticket is due to renew and pay the interest or pay off the loan and get your merchandise out.. in either situation he works with you and doesn't hassle you with phone calls or make you feel bad that you can't pay on time. This past month I was over 5 days past due and I could not loose my ring . Apparently HAS to have the last word...Doesn't remember what he tells customer...NO RESPECT, POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS, DOESN'T RELATE WELL TO PEOPLE.
