I can speak for the service or ambience as this was a pick up order. I was at work and was craving a wrap, so I found the chicken Caesar wrap from here and ordered it. The food was prepared quickly, but when I opened my box at work to eat it was a huge disappointment. The wrap was extremely skimpy, the ends were even rolled right and all the filling camw fling out the backside as soon as I picked it up. The lettuce and chicken were drenched with so much dressing I couldn't even eat it. It was literally dripping everywhere. My coworker ordered the same thing, with the same experience. This is a great local shop for a solid sub sandwich! The shop is extremely small, and is counter service. When we walked in, unfortunately we were not greeted and ended up waiting by the register for just under 10 min before one of the female workers acknowledged us (she and her co worker were busy making an order). When we were finally greeted, she was pleasant and we put in an order for 2 sandwiches to go. There were only 2 people working, and a handful of guests waiting for their subs. It appeared that they were understaffed, or weren't expecting the demand. None the less, after about 30 minutes, we had our subs and went home to eat them. They were WONDERFUL! It's sad to see that the quality of the subs isn't there anymore. Price gone up (I know everything has gone up) but you should remain quality. I ordered a medium ( 9 inch) chicken parm toasted with fries and paid $15.25. It smelled good but my first bite was soft bread and tomato sauce. When I opened it up it looked like the chopped up a chicken nugget pored some sauce over it and sprinkled some cheese to call it a parm. Went I went back to the store and showed her the pics she said that this is how they do it and that she can see cheese on top of the sandwich. If I wanted more cheese I should have said something. Everytime I've ordered here the food has been on point. As a New Yorker that grew up with the best sub shops in little Italy I'm picky. So there are 4 components to address with subs- bread; meats; toppings and the finesse that makes it stand out. I will say they use a great quality of meats; bread and toppings. The only thing I could say I wish they had a little more variety on is the toppings I.e., olives; hot peppers. This place is small but filled with greatness! I have to say starting with customer service this place is top notch. I called ahead to order a wrap and sub for me and my hubby. I customized each of them to my and my hubbys preferences. The lady on the line was so patient and helpful during the process. I arrived and my order was ready to go! I ordered a spinach turkey wrap with veggies and my husband ordered a steak and onions sub. Both were delicious. The prices are affordable which is always a big plus. I drive past this place all the time but never stop. I went grocery shopping at Aldi's and was hungry when I left and noticed that they were across the street so I drove over. Very small place only two people working. I went in at about 1130,No one was there but me so it didn't take long.There is a sign saying they're not a fast food restaurant so it will take time. I ordered the Italian and it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I asked for spicy peppers, but they only had jalapeños which in my opinion does not work on an Italian sub, but I must say the sandwich was delicious. I went here today because I was craving a cheesesteak. It had 5 stars. All the reviews raved about it. And now I'm scratching my head. Is it because of the quarantine? Are they not getting ingredients and supplies? I ordered a cheesesteak. They only offer steak and onions. Most sandwich shops offer mushrooms and peppers but not here. I always add all the toppings so I got lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, sweet peppers and hot peppers. As you can see in the photos, no tomato, no pickles, no onions, one brown pepper (not sure if it's sweet or hot), a few sad yellow lettuce pieces, AND NO CHEESE! This is supposed to be a CHEESEsteak! Even if the toppings are bad or soggy the meat and cheese should shine! But I got grey, cold, sad meat. And literally no cheese. Boulevard Subs epitomizes the meaning of "little hole in the wall" places. There are no tables, no chairs, just a small counter with stools. For the size of the place, the menu listing larger and more encompassing than you would think. And, with the size of the place, you might know that they offer takeout as well as delivery which I might venture the guess constitutes the majority of their business. Boulevard Subs has been around for years and local area favorite especially with local police who often stop by to grab a quick eat. Of the subs they have, I ordered a size Italian with everything for dining in house. As is typical it came atop a piece of grocery wrap paper in one of plastic basket dishes, but what wasn't so typical was that it was really loaded with ingredients which ingredients tasted exceptionally fresh with the lettuce and tomato even have a nice crunch to them. I thought what I had was very good as well as reasonable in price, better than you might get in most places, but I have to admit I am rather bias because as far as hoagies and subs go, my heart belongs to La Spada's. read more

Tucked away in the corner of boulevard plaza lies this hidden gem. No bigger than an oversized closet, this sub shop is producing some delicious quality subs packed with huge flavor. I ordered my default sandwich - the Italian combo - filled with Boar's Head quality Ham, Salami, and Capicola. Along with this heaping serving of delicious sliced meats, the soft sub roll was packed with fresh crisp vegetables, mayonnaise, and a vinaigrette. Although not as stuffed as some other sub shops, this sub was exceptionally delicious and had the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, toppings, and bread; something many other sub shops fail to achieve. All in all, I paid $7.25 for a 9inch sub, which I believe is a great price compared to other sub shops in the area. This is not some typical franchise sub shop. Quick service and great prices. I usually get the tuna sandwich for lunch since it is down the street from my job. A 6inch sub is usually enough for me since they are generous with their ingredients. The rice pudding is also a must. The only downside is that they only deliver very close by. My office is about 9mins down oakland and they dont deliver there because they have to do a u-turn, so I always have to pick up. I would definitely order more if they delivered. read more

I put this place on my radar based on fellow Yelper Marqus's review and knew I needed to give it a try. Its sort of a hole in the wall joint in an old strip plaza on Oakland Park just before Dixie Hwy. Theres not much parking in front but plenty along the east side. I arrived around noon and they were hustling. 4 or 5 guys ahead of me, most seemed like regulars which is always a good sign plus they were also getting some delivery orders ready to go out. I ordered a basic ham & turkey on a sub roll. Available in small, medium or large sizes. I opted for mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and swiss cheese. I waited 8-10 minutes while my sandwich was made, about average. I paid while waiting, $5.75, not bad. When I got home and unwrapped my sandwich, it looked pretty normal. When I took my first bite I was like "wow"! Pretty tasty blend of fresh meat, veggies and bread. I loved every subsequent bite, truly delicious! I'll definitely repeat! I was delighted with the quality of the food honestly it was one of the best subs I've ever had. No lie. My fiancé who isn't really into subs actually fell in love with these and was literally raving about them all the next day. I had the Italian and the steak sub. The bread was one of the things that really made it special. It was fresh and perfectly soft and fluffy. The Italian sub had Italian dressing which is seriously to die for. It made the sub one hundred times better than other Italians I've had. On top of that the toppings were fresh as was the meat and it was the perfect amount. The steak sub was also great, with fresh meat and fresh ingredients. I would recommended both. They have 6 inch, 9 inch and 12 inch subs. 12 inch is pretty big, enough to share but you probably won't want to. They also serve salads and sandwiches and various sides like chips and potatoe salad. I love that it's not a chain restaurant and the food reflects the authenticity a real owner who cares about giving costumers quality food.
