The chicken Cali wrap was good and the hot sauce was delicious. I was very disappointed with the kids Mini mezze meal. I ordered this for my son and it isn't at all like the picture on the website menu. First the bowl didn't have the compartments as its shows Online so each item can be separated which made everything mushed together and messy especially with the hummus. The chips were crumbled into tiny pieces and thrown in which made them soggy and inedible for my child. Since our daughter is helping us eat better, we came here for some takeout. All of us got a create your own salad bowl. Everything is so fresh. You would think the farm was out back. I hate to do this because this place is usually good with getting the orders correct but this past Sunday was totally different. I have an avocado allergy and their Miso Salmon bowl comes with it but gives the option for it to be removed. I ordered 2 of those bowls through doordash and even selected the option to remove the avocado. When I got my delivery, you guessed it, both bowls had avocado!! I spoke with doordash and they issued a redelivery. No avocado was also selected on this redelivery. I didn't expect it to happen again but I was sorely mistaken. Ooh a new veggie friendly place - let's do this! Okay salads are pretty easy to navigate, but their menu doesn't really explain very much as far as what's a bowl, a plate, and a warm bowl. The more I looked at the menu, the more I got confused (I feel that way at Starbucks though too, maybe it's just me??) What initially threw me off is that the foods with the "G" are not gluten-free, instead they contain gluten! I'm used to seeing the "V" means vegetarian or vegan, but it was the opposite with the G. But once I figured that out I decided I'd "Build my own Bowl" (that later ended up being a warm bow) and started asking questions. I wanted to get the salmon but it is cooked with a miso glaze and the pre-designed salmon plate has a G, meaning it is not gluten-free. The staff thought that that was because of the crispy onions in the dish (which I don't have to get if I build my own bowl), leaving the salmon itself gluten free. I really give props to the server because she was very diligent and trying to help me find out if the salmon was gluten free or not. The official documentation at the restaurant didn't confirm one way or another, because I guess they assume you're not going to order salmon unless you get their pre-designed plate with all the toppings? If it sounds confusing as you're reading this, it's because it is. After exhausting all the pages in their ingredients book, Both the server and I were searching on our own phones at this point to try to figure out if there was some information online about what's gluten free at sweetgreen. We decided the best plan was to not get the salmon and swap it out with tofu instead. So I did. I taste tested a couple dressings and ended up with the goddess dressing. I added a few toppings like carrots, black beans and chic peas. The Parmesan cheese was extra. (You get 4 free toppings and cheese is not free). Overall it ended up to be a tasty salad but the ordering process was a little cumbersome. I was mentally exhausted by the time I ended up eating it. Pricewise I was not too impressed either. Almost $17 with tip! Nice outdoor seating area with little umbrellas. They have inside seating as well, but it kind of looked a little naked. All of their tableware was compostable including the utensils. Props for that as well. If I go back I may try a different dressing but I'm not even going to go down the salmon journey until I can get some absolute confirmation from corporate that it's gluten-free. read more

Good news is the issue of the overcharging has been fixed overall, although never directly addressed. As I said before, sweetgreen has lots of fresh ingredients and a chalkboard on the wall of the location displaying which ingredients are local, organic, and not specified. I feel like this list really helps people choose the type of ingredients they want to consume and I love sweetgreen does this. Here are some of my preferences and why: * Quinoa instead of wild rice because the wild rice is a rice blend and not pure wild rice (hello starch). * portobello mix because the safest way to consume shrooms is cooked (look up agaritine if you want to know more). * chickpeas * lentils Wish these options were organic: * Cucumbers * Tomatoes Recently sweetgreen made some changes I am not fond of. Hopefully they see this and change it back: *no longer able to pay with the app. This makes the transaction not as smooth, especially when you still have to scan for the membership discount. *herbed quinoa is a no, I had it and would much prefer plain quinoa because of all the flavors already in the bowl. * black beans replacing lentils is a hell no. Black beans are everywhere. Lentils are a much healthier options I'll have to switch it up a bit because a few staples are gone, but I still recommend this place. MONEY SAVING HACK: If you get more than 3 salads/bowls a month, get the sweet pass membership. You save $3 each day you get a bowl or salad. The other day I had a $5 reward. The membership is only $10 so it pays for itself in savings. read more

I don't know what power exists in their wrists when they're mixing salads but they always create a perfect balance between the dressing and everything in the salad.
