In the face of rising prices Corinto is a go to delivering reasonably priced meals. It is a grill and you can order hot subs. Service is quick and you can get in get out quickly. The dive has its own atmosphere, something from the past. My steak sub had nicely seasoned steak. You can get fries or a salad with the meal and the cost is the same as fast food.

This place reminds me of a dinner I was blessed to frequent, as a child, with my grandfather. That was back in the mid '70s. Super clean, fast and courteous service, and fast delivery. From sitting down, to sliding the plate away...20 minutes, tops! My hash was beautifully cooked. Perfectly crispy on the outside without the middle being dried out and chewy. Home fries were more of the same...excellent. The eggs, sunny side up, were perfect (you'd be surprised how hard it is to find sunny side up eggs, cooked correctly, around here!) This is a small, local establishment that the neighborhood should gleefully support!

We had a decent lunch here -- it's not at all fancy. More like a luncheonette/diner frequented by many of the working guys from the local area. We came for lunch while my husband's car was being serviced nearby. The small restaurant was quite busy inside midday and the tables turned over several times as we ate. Although they specialize in Latin cuisine, we didn't feel like a big meal. They had a few blackboard specials in addition to their menu. My husband got a hamburger with house-made potato salad. It came with lettuce, tomato, and onion. He said it was a pretty good burger. I had their grilled mahi sandwich with crinkle cut fries. It was okay, but not a choice I'd get again. I've driven by this building many times as it sits on the corner of Dixie and Prospect. I'm glad we finally got a chance to try it. Now we know.

Went there for lunch/late breakfast with friends. It was raining hard, so the back of the parking lot was flooded, so I had to drive around slowly to get a parking space that was ok to use. The lady waiting on us was nice and friendly. This is what our group ordered: - Mahi Mahi salad - nice piece of mahi on top of a romaine lettuce salad with rings of raw onion on top and dressing. It was good. - Western Omelette - It was filling and large. - NY Strip with rice and plantains. Not good. I asked for a medium rare steak and it came to the table Well Done. The rice was good, but the plantains were not sweet nor ripe, they were hard and tough. Not a place I would go back anytime soon for Latin food.

This is my go to when in Fort Lauderdale and want a great breakfast. Ask for Lidia she has been serving me for years. Food is excellent, and restaurant is always neat and clean.

Small place but it was packed. Coffee was delicious and wait staff was friendly. Food came out hot and fresh and the hot sauce they have were very good. Wish they offered shredded hash browns instead of patties but it was good non the less. Overall nice coffee and good food that's cheaper than options on the beach.

I ordered this food while waiting at my mechanics. Never been to this place or herad of it. Food is really really good. I ordered the skirt steak with rice and plantains. It came with pico de gallo. It was very fresh and very good. Hate the cheap plastic silverware. Hard to cut steak. I will go to again if in neighborhood again

If you're driving a larger truck, be aware that parking is available but pretty tight. Once inside, we were warmly greeted by the host, who was incredibly friendly and escorted us to our table. Our waitress was just as wonderful--attentive, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. There was music playing everyone there was enjoying themselves. Since it was Tuesday, we both ordered the all-you-can-eat fried catfish special for $21.99. They start you off with hush puppies and coleslaw, and when your meal arrives, you get your choice of a side. We both chose the fries. The portions were generous, with plenty of crispy fried catfish on the plate. The fish itself had great flavor, was perfectly crispy, and wasn't over-breaded. The hush puppies were delicious, and the French fries were cooked just right. My husband, who considers himself a bit of a coleslaw connoisseur, really enjoyed the coleslaw. I wasn't as impressed with it, but that's just my personal preference. My biggest disappointment was the tartar sauce. For a restaurant that's been around as long as Catfish Dewey's, I expected a homemade tartar sauce. Instead, it came in a pre-packaged container and tasted overwhelmingly of onion. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me. If I were rating everything individually, I'd give the catfish a 7/10, the hush puppies an 8/10, the fries an 8/10, the coleslaw a 5/10, and the tartar sauce a 0/10. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, especially the friendly service and the crispy catfish. While it wasn't the best fried catfish we've had, it was still a good meal. As I always say, don't let my opinion make your decision. Everyone's taste is different, so go try it for yourself and form your own opinion. You might love it!

We had a couple of drinks at the bar and Joe was attentive and great. We used to go to the location in Coral Springs back on the day and it was good good. We were say at a table and it went all downhill. We were a party of 8. The server was very nice but I do not know why everything was so slow. We ordered our drinks and the wine glasses were brought out quickly. We waited and then awhile later the wine arrived. From the time we sat to placing our food order was a good 45 minutes. It wasn't such a big deal as we were all catching up with each other. Bread baskets were being replenished as we ate it and it was the best part of the meal. Finally the appetizers came. The broiled oysters were not good and tasted like a dirty wet rag. I barely choked down one. The Caesar salad portion was very small. My friend enjoyed his brussel sprouts. By this time our bottle of wine which we wanted with our fish was gone. Then it took a very long time to receive our mains. We had the crab and corn stuffed grouper. It was dried out and too salty. The salmon was slimy and had to be returned. The 12oz lobster tail special was the hit of the night. After we were almost done with our meal the server informed us the twice baked potato would be out shortly which we requested to be cancelled. Five minutes later it came out which we sent back as we were done with this meal. Then it took quite a bit of time to receive the checks. From start to finish we were there for almost 3 hours at the table. Considering the restaurant was not even close to full this was unnecessary. We all will not be back.

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
