took my jeep in for several small issues, i was informed that there was a charge of 165.00 for each issue for diagnostic before fixing anything. Then i was told they would at the brakes for free, so i said ok let me know. So i got a call back informed me that i had a rear end issue. it would be 365.00 to check it out. but fix nothing. i picked up my jeep took it to another shop. then I found out everything i was told my boulevard tire was wrong. the jeep was fixed for 150.00 total. I put a suspension lift on my truck with all new components. The alignment was out of wack which is normal for changing suspension parts. So I took it to boulevard to have it aligned. The tech called me and told me the ball joints were bad and they would not align it unless the ball joints were replaced. I had just replaced them the day before, brand new ball joints, not cheap ones either. But giving them the benefit of the doubt asked them what they wanted, they quoted me $1000 for ball joints plus alignment. Alignments are $150, ball joints are $100 a piece at a local parts store (shops get even cheaper prices) so they wanted $700 in labor to replace ball joints that wouldn't even take an hour to do. They just didn't want to do the alignment. I get that the alignment was way out and it would've been difficult, but why lie to me. I took it to tires plus in eustis, they aligned it same day and found no issues with the ball joints. Do not go to boulevard. Luckily I knew enough about my vehicle to smell the scam. Went in to find out what was wrong with my car and get an oil change well wrong oil filter and looks like someone use a power tool to put my oil drain plug in now I can't get it out and I'm having to replace the whole oil pan honestly I'll never go back idk who in the right mind would do that now I won't go in for replacement of any part and now I'm completely down a car which was already in rough shape also they said my egr ehr tube gasket and egr plenium intake needed to be replaced but it's all in good shape I work in a diesel shop this would never happen there read more

Had a vibration in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma front end when braking today. Brought in and found front rotors when warped. Had both front rotors replaced and brake pads also !!! I went here to get four new tries when I was 9months pregnant. I then had to drive to Orlando, on my way back I had a flat tired on the turn pike. So when I got the car to the closest auto shop, they told me that whoever put my tire on had put it on wrong, which caused it to come off the rim. Which being 9months pregnant and due the next day with my 3year in the car, this was the last thing I wanted to deal with, not even mentioning how unsafe it was. When I went back to Boulevard tried in Mt. Dora they gave me a hard time, but did end up replacing it. I am now having another issue with one of my tries and they have been no help at all. So I will not be returning to this shop and will be replacing my tries somewhere else. read more

I went there because of a flat and they were the closest place, I was told the tire couldn't be repaired I needed a new one. So I went for it. I even bought 2 to keep wear and tire style the same. Price wasn't bad. My big complaint is that I had a new Smith & Wesson 9mm under the seat when I got there and when I got home and went to remove it I found it missing. Judge for yourself! After purchasing four tires at Boulevard Tires, in Mount Dora, they gave my car a "free" alignment "check", which I did not ask for. They then came out and told me that my alignment was out. Mostly one of my rear wheels. Even showed me a print-out. The tires I just got replaced all showed no abnormal wear, plus what they did not know was that I had just gotten an alignment done at my car dealer, by the technician who is a friend, that I trust very much. So as not to argue with Boulevard, I told them that I did not have time for an alignment at the moment, and would return at a later date. They were putting pressure on me, and the more pressure they put on me, the more I told them I could not do it at the moment. (I had no intentions of having them do an alignment). A couple days later, I visited my friend at the car service department, told him what Boulevard tried to pull on me, and showed him the print-out they gave me. He then put the car on the alignment rack, and fould that the alignment was all in specs and the Boulevard print-out was a bunch of BS. When I sold the car, many many thousand miles later, the tires still did not show any abnormal wear from "being out of line". The good was that Boulevard did sell me the quality tires I wanted at a reasonable price, but I don't need them to try to up-sell me things I don't want. If I ever buy tires from them again, I will make sure my car does not go on the alignment rack for a "free" alignment check. read more

I came in for an oil change and they came out and said I needed a brake job, needed new rotors, that they couldn't be ground. I left with just my oil change because I wanted to check reviews on line and take my car for another look. I took it two more places and both places said there was plenty of room for being ground out, which of course costs less. I don't know if they thought because I was an older woman, that I was an easy mark or he was just incompatant, but they just lost a customer. read more

I would not use this company....I only dealt with the one in Tavares. I might have gotten an ok deal on tires, then they told me my car need a part as they could not align the last tire. The part plus the labor was going to be $583, they could not get the part for a couple days... Thank goodness! Took it to my automotive mechanic where they could not find anything wrong with my car. Been using Boulvard for tires since late 1990s. They have always done well by me. I haven't been pressured into additional services as some reviews suggest. Stay away. I witnessed an elderly lady with a newer car being told that in addition to the tires she was buying she desperately needed new brakes and " a complete brakeline flushing". When the lady balked, the salesman tried intimidating her by telling her that there was only 10% remaining on her brake pads. When she held her ground the salesman then went on to tell her that her rotors would need to be replaced if she didnt replace the brakes today. My immediate thought was that this was another snow job on an elderly person. Next I was up for a front end allignment. Well I knew that he wouldnt try that tactic on me.....but I was wrong. Shortly after putting my car on the rack, the same salesman came in to give me the bad news. He took me to my car and showed me. I too desperately needed additional work that I did not ask for. This time he told me that I needed a new inner tie rod. Well little did he know that I had the same inner tie replaced the day before. That is why I was getting a front end allignment. But I didnt tell him, I just told him to go ahead and do the alignment. Well at that point he started refusing to do the allignment because it would be "illegal" for him to do the work and a danger to myself and others on the road. Well at that point I had all I could take and I told him that the inner tie rod end that he wanted to replace was brand new. Well he couldnt believe it so he and his mechanic shined a flashlight on the inner tie rod in question and they both concluded that it was brand new. At that point it was a huge embarassment for them. They started trying to back track and both stated "we arent trying to sell you anything you dont need". When I told them that they did just that, they denied it. Anyway, long story short ... DON'T GO HERE. THEY WILL LIKELY TRY TO INFLATE YOUR BILL BY ADDING WORK THAT ISNT NECESSARY. Most of the workers are young kids. And that tells me one thing. The mature people had ethics and morals and couldn't work under a management policy the clearly focuses on driving up sales at the expense of customers who trusted them. read more

My Mother, 93 years of age, went there to have the tires rotated and they scared her to death by telling her she needed a $763.83 brake job, new pad, rotors, calipers. Because I had driven her car I knew the brakes were fine. They told her it was dangerous to drive it the way it was. She was almost crying she was so worried, so I went right over and took the car to my mechanic who told me that she had at least 10,000 more miles on the pads and maybe even 15,000. the calipers were fine as were all the brake lines, hoses, etc. This is a pure scare tactic they use on people, especially the elderly and they should be stopped. Do not go to this place. By the way, my mechanic spent about 45 minutes, taking off and putting the wheels back on, inspecting everything with a flashlight and charged me $20.00!
