There were no vehicles in the service bays, but I was told they couldn't even property inspect the tire with soap and water because three appointments were arriving in about 20 minutes, and the next available appointment was 2:00 p.m. Since I had to work, I couldn't wait. I had an oil change and when I came back home the glove box where the cabin filter was not installed properly. The filter cover was not installed and was just laying in side the glove box and the top cover of the glove box was dangling in side the glove box. I live about 10 miles away so instead of driving back I watched an online video on how to reinstall it. If there mechanic didn't know how to do it he should find out and not try to hide the repair. I had to get my a whole part replaced and the labor was almost double the part not including the diagnostic charge which he did discount a bit but it just felt like I was being scammed because I'm a women. They did it the same day and the service was fine but it just felt wrong how much they charged. If you're looking for a repair I would go more local to be honest. I love this place! I recently visited this location with my Toyota Rav 4. There was something sticking out on the bottom underneath my car.A service man took a look at it in the shop and after 30 min he came out and explained that he could fix in 2 different ways. He recommended the way he thought was best for my car and I say OK Came out 15 min later and said I was ready to go. I was prepared to pay for his work and he said HE COULDN'T CHARGE ME! He said it was not something he could charge me for! I realized that he had spent his time fixing my car ( and they had more customers waiting) He was so kind and I know in the future this location will be the first place I'll go. They were GREAT! My red 1986 350 Nissan sat on his lot for 6 years Had it towed there  and back still not running Gave him 2 payments. never ask for more so I told him no more money till he gets it running he then tells me he gets 250.00 an hour so I had to get my car towed back. Ours is a Buick; Encore GX. How many of these SUVs do you see daily? 30 - 50 is my best guess; they're prolific in and around here. So why wouldn't the GOODYEAR tire dealer have my size IN STOCK?!? Ok, so you have to order it. "Tampa has it," they said. Ok. Sold. When? "Should be here Wednesday," I was told, along with, "we'll call you!" -- ok fair enough. I told my wife to make an appointment for Friday, just in case. Great, all set for Friday 1300, and leaving the rim so they can mount it when it arrives (again, presumably Wednesday) from Tampa, and if it gets in earlier, alls the better. Right? Wrong. No call on Wednesday. No call on Thursday. Two calls to them on Friday and, "oops" along with questions my wife doesn't know the answers to; fellas, the gearhead of the family is the MALE... my wife is there to pick up the new tire on the old rim, and that's all she wants. Turn the key and drive. Oil? Tires? Brakes? Dammit, ask ME; not her. "Ooops" and "I'm sorry" and excuses drive my wife nuts. Me too. So, the tire finally arrives sometime Friday (after the appointment) and my wife (fuming) gets it done 10 minutes before closing time. If you guys can't stock tires, and can't communicate effectively with your customers, and can't deliver service on time... why would I go to you, again?!? These two are honest mechanics, I mean that considering good trustworthy mechanics are hard to come by nowadays. Sooooooo I went here before I took my vehicle on a cross country trip and ADVISED these people of this. I had an oil change done, alignment & a tire. Upon checking out , I was told my brakes looked brand new ( I've had my car almost 4years at this point with no new brakes ) immediately once the trip started I noticed my car shaking. Now getting another oil change and Volkswagen says whoever did my last oil change put the wrong oil. So not only did y'all mess up my shit, y'all lied and said my brakes were brand new, now they're in super bad conditions. What a rip off. How dangerous knowing I was traveling from FL to CA. We recently moved to The Villages and needed an oil change. Scheduled one at a "popular" auto shop in the little town of Wildwood. But when I pulled in to the door by the bay, the guy rudely yelled to park somewhere else; plus the place looked like a dump. So I left and drove east and stumbled upon the Goodyear Store. They got me in right away and did an excellent job including tire rotation while we conveniently shopped at the Costco next door. Very professional guys and very clean store. I asked for a simple check on the level of my refrigerant that took these guys over an hour. I do not know how many breaks these mechanics get but they seem to take several in one hour. Also I did not ask them to add refrigerant but they did and charged me for it or they said they can pull the .5 pounds of refrigerant out and not charge me. The typical rip you off garage techniques. We were towing our 40' 5th wheel toy hauler when we had a blowout. Cheap Chinese tires were on the trailer. After getting it changed and to the campground we decided to replace all 4 tires plus the spare. This happened over New Year's. My husband called this Goodyear Service Center and explained our situation. This was on Thursday and we were leaving the next day. They recommended the best truck tires for our toy hauler because of the weight we carry with 2 motorcycles in the back. They had to get the tires from another store but we were out of there within 5 hours and safely back on the road. The waiting room was clean, bright, had coffee and tv. It took them over 2 hours to change my oil and flush my radiator.... if you don't know, that's a long f*ckin time...I did them both alone with hand tools in 1... I only came here as I'm from out of town. Then I watch this guy talk a poor old lady out of bringing her car to the dealer for a warranty alignment, and into getting an alignment at the Goodyear, for 170$ because there's a 3 year warranty.. Yes the old lady was dumb for not making the warranty correlation but the tech shouldn't have even made that suggestion. When the lady said she couldn't pay that much he tried selling her a Goodyear credit card.. These people probably only have 5 starts because of the abundant elderly community that doesn't realize when they're getting screwed. I will say this, they give free air for tires if you pull up. No stars, well one because it makes me select one Update: turns out they even left the oil filter loose, which I figured out when I had a big oil stain on my drive. read more

I've found my auto service center from now on. Up North I've had a continuing problem with the serpentine belt on my car for years. Arrived down here and it slipped off again. (I'd just had it replaced a month earlier) The guys at Goodyear went out of their way not to just replace the belt but to find out why it kept happening. They kept the car for two days, thoroughly examined it, found the cause and repaired it at a VERY reasonable price. They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. Only a couple of days after visiting the store, I was back again this time with a nail in my tire. I changed to the spare to avoid damaging the tire further when driving to Goodyear. The good news is that the nail somehow went in sideways and did not puncture the inside of the tire. So they took the nail out, made sure the tire was not damaged, remounted it on my car, put the spare/lift/tools back into the space in the trunk and turned over my keys. My total cost - $ZERO! Update!!!!... Corporate reached out to me, we had a nice talk over the phone... Adam will take care of the issues.. That one phone call from Adam took care of my bad experience and I will be back... Customer service is key... And they proved it by reaching out.. WORST costumer service from the point I called in until the time I walked out... I got an oil change for a rental car and the two "Gentleman" who took care of me and I believe they were management, God help us!!!! so rude!!!! The first guy asked if I had the pink slip I said no-- he said rental agreement with a tone and look like I was the most ignorant person on the face of the earth.... Hour and a half later (oil change) a lady who came in said how are you? His response was a grunt ... She said that sounds promising his response that's all I have today!!!! He asked me to sign the paperwork after my car was out of the garage and parked for 20 min the ass had the nerve to say "THATS A SIGNATURE Okay" with a little condescending laugh.... Really????? I will drive 500 miles on a flat before I walk back into that excuse of a business for as long as I have air in my lungs... It took them 2 hours to change my oil after I made an appointment even though there were only 3 or 4 other people there. They were very interested in up charging me for items like injector cleaner, brake fluid, and cleaning out the chamber under the cabin air filter and the filter itself. I finally agreed to just the filter but my $70 oil change ended up being $125. From now on, i'm going to the quick oil change places. read more
