I have a voicemail recording of them confirming my membership is closed, but they continue to take money from my account twice a month. Their response this week to my request to stop was to increase the amount they take from my account. They gave me the same line of BS that I have to come to the office "in person". That is not in the contract. That is not legally required. What is legally required is that they stop taking money from my account. They know that I won't pay for an attorney because it's such a nuisance amount. But when I show up with a policeman on Monday and ask them to arrest the manager for theft, maybe they will change their SOP.

I watched a guy in the hot tub get his glasses knocked off his face and broken by a kid jumping in despite the 18 or older sign. The lifeguards ignore it all. Adult swim time is extremely limited. Wanted to learn Pilates. Class hours are sparse. I took 3 classes but stopped when I hurt my back - the instructor was disinterested. I get closer coaching at independent studios. The kids use the weight machines to sit and scroll on their phones. Not a lot of working out going on while I'm waiting. I never see anyone clean a machine after they use it so I clean before and after each machine use. The locker room bathroom is pretty gross, staff just can't possibly keep up with the crowds. I'm forced to head back to Planet Fitness where membership costs are reasonable. No pool but I can't use it at Lifetime anyway so I may as well stay at Planet Fitness. This is so disappointing, I had high hopes because they have so much to offer. Planet Fitness is closer to home and more adult.

I was new to her class that day, but I've taken Step classes at other gyms for years. She is very intense and after noticing that I made a few mistakes on her steps only 15 minutes into the class, she walked over, told me "STOP STOP STOP", and ripped the risers out from under me. I was so offended. If you want new clients to continue taking your classes, you need to ENCOURAGE them at the level that THEY believe is right for them. You as the instructor do not determine that. She was constantly shouting and gave ZERO alternative steps for beginners. You either picked it up or she kept yelling. It was a great workout because she was so intense and that's why I rated the class two stars, but if you are a beginner, you will feel so discouraged with her. I recommend taking someone else's class.
