I LOVE Bounce! They did my son's 5th birthday party at a local park and he also just wrapped a week of camp with them at Annenberg. On the party front, they're super easy to work with and bring so much fun stuff (giant obstacle courses that kept all the kids entertained for hours). My son really loved the camp, he had so much fun playing at the beach and thought all the coaches were great. After having great experiences with Bounce! camps, I hired them for my son's 6th birthday. They were FANTASTIC. They set up a huge ninja course that they kept rejiggering so the kids wouldn't get bored. The coaches paid a lot of attention to the kids without dominating the play. The kids had such a blast. Everyone was completely sweaty, smiling, and happy. Everyone from their end was easy to deal with. It's definitely on the higher end of the price spectrum, but I have to say it was worth it to be able to actually host and enjoy my son's birthday. read more

Had a birthday party for my 5-year-old daughter and it was by far the best entertainment at a kid's party we've ever seen. Every parent said the same! We were in awe of the set-up and the incredible energy of the coaches who went all out to ensure my daughter and every single child had a blast. The expertise of the coaches knowing when to switch up the games and activities to ensure the children were fully engaged at all times was simply outstanding and it gave the parents a chance to stand back, watch and even relax while the kids had the time of. Their lives. Every step of the process was made incredibly straight-forward by the team who were there to help us every step of the way and my wife and I were hugely impressed with how professional and responsive they were from start to finish. Said I would not post to yelp, but this company did not have the courtesy or kind enough to respond to the following email that was sent last Friday morning. Which was February 8th 2019. Good morning, My name is KD, I am the mother JD . We have been attending the classes at your facility for the past few weeks. Specifically the 9:30am class on Wednesdays. My daughter has been enjoying the program thus far. Particularly the trampoline! Prior to our last visit I was highly considering joining the program for the next 6 months( 3 eight week packs). Upon our last class this past Wednesday February 6th. There were a couple of issues that I noticed that did not sit well with me. Beginning with the unannounced price change. As a business owner I am aware of the growing cost of operations, goods and supplies. But unfortunately there was absolutely no notice given to me as the customer. No visible signage, no email, or change on the website. I was told at the exchange of the transaction between my self and your employee Domonique. She stated, "Today's class will be $27 because of the need to stay current with the competitive rates among other classes in the neighborhood". Which is totally understandable but a notice needs to be given to clients and customers ahead of time. Not the day of. Also, I seek out programs for my daughter that encourages diversity. I was pleased to see that BounceLA was not only black owned but was located in an area that could expose her to different cultures. So I was very disappointed that a mother/ grandmother treated my child with such disrespect at our last class. Some things were said to my child that were very upsetting regarding her looks, behavior as a toddler and made it very clear that she did NOT want my child playing with her grandson. I know that you are not in control of other peoples actions or prejudices. But I am in control of my response to such behaviors. Hence the real reason we left early. Also, as a successful business owner and entrepreneur of over 15yrs. I am very aware of the power of word of mouth. However, I will refrain from writing about the unpleasantries I experienced at BounceLA on yelp. As a result, we will no longer attend or yet refer the program to other mothers. We recently celebrated my daughters 5th Bday here with her friends and they all had a blast! I contacted Louisa, the co-owner of Bounce about a month prior to make arrangements and reserve our day and time. She had been in contact with me almost weekly to help set up things smoothly. We got the Super Bounce package which includes some party decor, plate settings and cups for the kids, setup and breakdown of party, custom music playlist (best to use Spotify instead of Amazon Music for them), 2hrs of playtime for party, and one free class for the bday girl/boy. We provided the food catered from Ralphs downstairs on the 2nd floor, adult plate ware and extra utensils, balloons, party favors & boxes; I designed the invitations; I contacted a bakery (Joy & Sweets - all gluten free) and had a custom cake and cupcakes made and delivered since their usual vendor wasn't available. I also contacted a cookie vendor I've used for my baby shower last year to make custom Princess Peach & Super Mario cookies (Stacy's Cookie Lounge - shes awesome)! Outside food is ok to bring! This is a huge plus especially since my daughter and a lot of her friends are Type 1 diabetic and/or celiac and very picky eaters. When they're blood glucose or BG is low they MUST eat or drink fast-acting carbs (sugar) or they can have a seizure and die. #T1disnojoke. Learn more on my blog at Typeonediabetic-life.com. I advised all our guests to arrive on-time as close as possible due to the 2hr reserved time slot and most of them did! The kids enjoyed dancing, running around like crazy, bubbles, swinging, relay race, trampoline, an unexpected bouncy house that Asa set up and broke down in no time...so much excitement and fun for all of them. Asa and his employee were so great with all the kids and the energy was just positive excitement the whole time. All the parents enjoyed themselves as well out front on the balcony knowing our kids were safe and contained indoors. Definitely check out this place to see if you'll like it for your child's bday party. I highly recommend. Louisa even followed up with me that day to see how everything went. She's also a busy mom of two young girls. We'll be back again for my daughter's free class! Also, FYI there's free parking for 2 hours on the lower level and 1hr free on street level in the parking structure. Huge plus in that area where parking is scarce sometimes. CVS pharmacy next to Bounce and Ralphs downstairs who'll also fill up your helium balloons at whatever cost they charge for their own balloons. Thanks Louisa and Asa! I was super impressed by Bounce for my daughters 1st birthday party. Louisa and her team did a great job. We had a wide variety of ages for her birthday party and the staff was very attentive to all the ages. My daughter and her friends had the best time. I cant wait to take my daughter to a regular class. The only thing that was a problem (and this was probably my mistake) was the fact gratuity was included in the bill and we ended up double tipping the staff and no one told me tip was included. Bounce hits the spot for a fun, relaxed play environment. The owners learn everyone names and greet you so warmly. It's always spotless, well maintained and has thoughtful and engaging equipment. They change things up, and bring out different activities while you're there. My daughter had her 5th birthday here and STILL loves coming well into 6. I took my daughter to the kangaroo class and she had a great time. The coaches are great and on top of lots of free play time, they worked on basketball skills and followed the coaches through an obstacle course. There is lots of singing and playing and jumping which are 3 of my daughter's favorite things. The best part is there is plenty of covered parking ( so rain or shine parking is easy) and parking is free. They are a very good mix of mygym's skill stations taught and Gymboree's singing and parachute and bubble time. read more

Coach Ace and his whole team are absolutely fantastic. I found Bounce through kidpass and quickly realized twice a month was just not enough- if only there were more days in the week to come here! They only offer one class a day for non-walkers but we come as often as we can! I love that their classes are drop-in and we don't have to commit to a whole session but instead have the flexibility to attend any day of the week. Louisa in the office has been awesome and responsive to every one of my emails and has even gone out of her way to reach out when there's been a problem. They change up the layout of the room weekly which I thought would be stressful for my son since he can take some time to adjust in a new environment but it hasn't slowed him down one bit! We just had our 3yr old daughter's birthday party here and all the kids had a blast! We (of course) showed up late to our own party, but they were patiently waiting for us and ready to kick the party off as soon as we arrived. I love the fact that we could hang out outside while the kids were inside playing. This is a perfect set up for my type of kids parties. This is a great play gym that far outshines the My Gym in this area. Our daughter is 3 1/2 years old and this was a perfect class for her. The 3 coaches were so energetic and fun, and I loved that there was structure but the kids could choose to play whatever they wanted the entire time (if they chose not to participate in whatever activity was happening at the moment). There was a variety of activities including a bubble machine, soccer, parachute, etc. and I felt that a lot of attention was given to my daughter. There was no waiting around for other kids to finish their turn on each activity (like at My Gym for this age)-- instead, it was complete fun from start to finish. read more

Yesterday I had my son's third birthday party at Bounce and we had a BLAST! "Ace" the main instructor and co-owner of the business was absolutely amazing with the kids. His energy was contagious and he and Nina kept the kids entertained and safe the entire time! We did a Coco themed birthday party. I got there early with my 5 year old to set up. He played (and helped a little!) and Ace and Nina helped me set up all the decorations. Ace even figured out how to hang up a piñata for the kids. They played music from the album Coco and other fun kid's songs, took them through an obstacle course, did a parachute circle, helped me get a big group picture, organized the piñata, and directed the kids toward food and cake. They also helped clean up after the fact and didn't rush us out at the end of the party. We felt so fortunate to be able to book this place last minute as it was really RAINING yesterday and our outdoor park plan would not have been fun. Louisa was wonderful and answered all my questions before the party. We will be back to this venue without a doubt! Since my little guy has a birthday around rainy season; we already plan to be back for his 4th next year! I cannot recommend this place enough. I like his place because it's across the street and the people that work there are sweet. I have three kids under 5 1/2 and I brought them all to the after school jam. They had a great time and hey want to go back so I think that makes good in my books. I didn't give 5 starts because it is a bit small but they don't let more gab 12 kids in at once. Well equipped bathroom for moms and some snacks available to purchase for the kiddos.
