This is a great course for a great price ($35-$40 for 18 and a cart). If you don't live in the surrounding neighborhoods then it is a bit of a drive, but it is worth it. You're up higher into the foothills and you get some great views of the Salt Lake valley. The course is very well maintained, and the staff is great. The championship tees on a few of the holes will definitely test your skills. I played them once and decided to leave that to the big boys. The only complaint that I have is that I don't have time to play here more often. read more

This is a really great course but when it comes to how they run the pro shop and canceling tee times, no course in the salt lake area does it this bad. There is an automatic 8% cancellation fee that applies to canceling or amending any tee times no matter what the change is. Additionally I prepaid for my cart, which they charge $20-$25 for. When I showed up for my tee time because I wanted to walk, they told me tough luck, wouldn't refund me or let me spend the $20 in the pro shop. They also have a credit card fee in the pro shop for using one. I feel like they nickel and dime as much as they can. Fun course but they need need new management. read more

One member of foursome could not make it and attempted to inform course that we would have one spot available. 2 hour cancellation window is fair. Not answering the phone or having a message system in place to allow customers to follow that protocol is not. In person staff member was indifferent and management non responsive to email communication that included phone log. read more

The course itself is a nice course with the hole layout and the mature landscape. The management is not great. They require pre-paid but if life happens and someone has to cancel, they don't care. One of our foursome couldn't make it and I asked for a raincheck--not a refund--a raincheck and was denied because it was within an hour of tee-time. It's golf, not like we ordered a meal then didn't show up. That round of golf would not spoil because it wasn't played. Seems even more hypocritical when you don't even post your cancellation/raincheck policy on your website. I play about 2 rounds a week, but I'll never play Bountiful Ridge again. Plenty of other courses that actually value your patronage. read more

BEWARE: Absolutely do NOT recommend. They only do pre-pay and they charge your card immediately. Then they charge you a reservation fee that isn't even refundable when it was 40 degrees and pouring rain, saying that's their policy and there's nothing they can do about. I would give a zero if possible. The course was in great shape. The rest is awful. The Marshall was waiting on the 11th tee. The 6 some - yes 6. 3 in each group who continued to wait for each other and even swapped bags a couple of times on the fairway. We know because we had to wait on every. single. shot. The Marshall berated us for trying to get our carts into the shade and told us our carts were too close to the tee boxes. He then proceeded to drive his cart to then occupy the same shade we had just vacated. He followed us for 3 holes and never once said anything to the 6 people golfing together in front of us. This was a 5 plus hour round of golf. It's going to be very hard to return to Bountiful Ridge Golf Course. read more

I don't golf and in fact hate it. BUT my hubby enjoys it so I booked him a tee time and this review is for the process, prices, and views. Maybe I'm just accustomed to the 50% markup for everything CA-related but I found the prices at Bountiful Golf super reasonable and the fact that I didn't have to book weeks in advance is a plus. It helps that I booked for a Sunday and there are 50 million fewer people here. Yay for us procrastinators! I might even walk the course with him next time. read more

This course is well maintained and fun to play. I'm not the best golfer and this course is hilly and challenging for me. I participate in tournaments here annually as well as golf for pleasure. I would recommend this course for a beautiful view and wildlife experience. It is located at the base of the Wasatch mountains and gets plenty of deer walking through. read more

The course is beautiful, unfortunately they don't take singles for tee times. I'm new to Utah and love to golf, but don't know very many people here. So I guess that means I'm not afford the same courtesies as someone who does. I called on a Friday night and was told I could just show up early Saturday morning and they would get me out. I show up and they tell me they have a tournament going on and can only get me out on the back for nine. Its a great course, but I won't be coming here anymore because it's not worth the drive to "maybe" be able to play. I'd rather give my money to somewhere that will respect my time as much as I respect their course. read more

Course was beautiful. Impeccably maintained. Spectacular views across the Great Salt Lake to the mountains beyond. Deceptively devilish greens. No crazy humps and bumps but surprisingly difficult to read, even after allowing for the property's slant from bench to lake. The real highlight of the day, though, was in the pro shop. George was a delight. Warm, welcoming, impish and full of good cheer. Went out of the way to help us newcomers get our round rolling. And, there afterwards, full of interest in our experience, and full of suggestions for additional Utah golf experiences. Thanks to George, we will be back. Highly recommended! read more

Golf Is a game about patience and focus and calm. This course rushes you to the point of destroying all three entirely. Trying to focus while some old guy is staring you down telling you to hurry up is quite a challenge. I have never had as frustrating an experience at a course as I did here. Especially when Utah has so many other beautiful courses to choose from you'd think they'd focus more on keeping their customers rather than pushing them to get off the course as fast as possible. I just came out to enjoy a relaxing game after a long week at work, not be hassled the whole time. read more

Can't find an amazing course like this at this amazing price point back home in SoCal. The course was stunning with wildlife roaming the grounds. Pretty nice course overall. Tons of elevation change and the conditions are good. Only problem we encountered was having to wait about 5-10 minutes for every shot because the course was so busy. We actually ended up playing the front 9 twice because when we went to the back 9 it was jam packed. Then we tried to play the back 9 after that and was told it's a guaranteed 2 1/2 hr play and that they stack it up like that on purpose. What? 2 1/2 hrs guaranteed? That should never be the case. My Honey, Ski, asked me to write this review for him - he is not a yelper as I am. When he got to the golf course - there was hardly anyone there so was able to tee off quickly. The greens are perfect and the fairways are plush. Kudo's to the grounds crew! The staff at the Pro Shop were professional and friendly. I have never dealt with so much unprofessionalism in my life. Between the older gentlemen coming out and being extremely disrespectful about driving off the cart path and the deliberate act of turning on the sprinklers while we are on the fairway while they watch from the window and laugh I cannot express how disappointed I am. I love this course. One of, if not the best, golf courses in Utah. The clubhouse staff is friendly and they know how to manage the tee times and clubhouse. I'm always pleasantly surprised because I'm use to other courses that just take your money and send you on your way. Not at Bountiful Ridge. They get it. They know what customers want, expect and overall just know how to treat people. The course is beautiful, they have always maintained it very well and the price is right.
