One of the finest Thai cuisine place that me and my wife has visited recently to be honest. As soon as I walked in the service team greeted us and asked us to sit we're ever we liked. The ambiance and the atmosphere is very well decorated and welcoming you can see the decorations and the interiors are very well done. I must say our server was very very kind and I really appreciate all the help and suggestions that she gave to me and my wife to make our meals so enjoyable and tasty. She is very kind and lovely and has a great personality. Her name is YINGLUK. I highly recommend her and I ask people to ask for her if they ever visit this amazing restaurant. For appetiser we had their spring rolls. It was perfectly cooked and their sweetie chilli sauce and dip was just amazing. For our entree I had a glass door noodles with veggies which came along with jasmine rice which was perfectly cooked and it was amazing and tasted incredible. My wife had sukiyaki with veggies and glassdoor noodles it was soupy and delicious she enjoyed every bite. Overall it was a great and memorable dinner experience for both of us and we would definitely go back there again. If you're in Jacksonville and you like Thai cuisine. This place is a MUST !!!!

The place was empty when I arrived. I ordered the spring rolls and chicken pad Thai and asked for it to be medium spicy. Everything came out fresh and tasted great. The pad Thai had a delicious flavor, however, there was zero spiciness. The servers were all kind and attentive, and I was very happy with my visit. The restaurant is itself is kept very clean. I will be returning.

First time here and it's a very quaint little Thai restaurant! Has tons of Thai paintings on the wall and decorations. The menu is the typical Thai offerings, but they also have a special menu that has so many extra interesting items that's usually not seen at Thai restaurants. The lunch menu comes with a soup that is perfectly seasoned and filled with fresh vegetables like broccoli/carrots and also tofu. Now for the entree, I really wanted to try the Khao Soi (curry noodle soup) or the Pad Khring, but you can really gauge the authenticity of a Thai restaurant by their Green Curry, so that's what I went with! So it came out super fast, like less than 5 minutes after I ordered it. Which is great for me because I was really hungry, but makes me think it was pre-made already and just scooped into a bowl with each order. The flavors were decent but not the best I have had in Jacksonville. It was a very good portion size and filled with hearty vegetables like Thai as well as Chinese eggplant, green beans, green/red bell peppers, and bamboo. I ordered medium heat which wasn't very spicy for me (I usually get 4 out 5 at other Thai restaurants). Overall it was decent Thai food but not the best. I will be back to try the special menu!

Late night dinner and for starters ordered the 5 piece Crab Rangoons and Tom Kha Shrimp soup. Both were really delicious. The main course was the Shrimp Pad Thai and the Red Curry with rice. It was alright, but the noodles were a little burnt though. Thai Iced Tea was for the drinks and Singha Beer. The restaurant has awesome artwork from Thailand, making it feel more authentic. The service was very good and kind to us.

This is a lovely little spot with excellent food. The staff is very welcoming and servers are attentive. The menu is a little different from other Thai restaurants in the area, and that's why we like it. The sweet & sour seems to have a tomato base, but is delicious. The drunken noodles are amazing. They customize spice levels as well as ingredients, upon request. We visited a few times and plan to return.

A recommendation from a friend since we were looking for another place that serves Khao Soi. This place is like eating home cooked meal. Delicious, satisfying and large portions for the price. We got our food pretty fast. We ordered Thai fried rice, Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Crab Rangoon and Khao Soi. Spice level was nice done with what we asked for. Place is clean and staff were all nice.

Absolutely delicious and cozy Thai restaurant! I am so thankful I found this thanks to Yelp. The quality of ingredients was superb- so fresh and delectable. We ordered the cashew chicken with medium spice and pad see ew. Both were incredible! I also ordered the Thai tea which I highly recommend- a lovely touch of sweetness without being overbearing. Service here was exceptional. They were so very kind and welcoming to us. We truly look forward to coming back!

The Pad Thai was excellent and freshly cooked. The soup was amazing and tasted like the lemon grass was freshly picked. The place had a cozy atmosphere and felt homely. The service was performed with a smile and details provided on preparation and presentation. I will have to return to try the Thai fried chicken.

I love Thai food! I've come here four times now and love this place! Each time, I've brought someone different, and they've all been impressed. The ambiance inside is great and customer service has always been exceptional. The Drunken Noodles and the Pad Woon Sen are both delicious! The Khao Soi soup is phenomenal. The Panang Curry was tasty but probably the weakest dish I've had here. Apps have been yummy also. Flavors here are super authentic and the food packs some good spice if you ask for it. Everything I've had here has been flavorful; large portions yet affordable. I'm always looking for an excuse to stop by and can't wait for my next visit. My mouth is watering just typing this review.

Tied for our Number 1 favorite Thai food. We are often here once a week! Everything has been amazing but some standout items are: The crab rangoons, you read that right- NOT Krab! They are some of the best I have ever had. Chef's kiss, perfection. Massaman curry- my new favorite! I was always a green curry girl (also fire) but have been switching it up lately. Tom Kha soup- top notch!

Having a craving for Thai food led me to try Bonxou Thai, a family-owned restaurant with flavorful seasonings in their dishes. We had the Pad Wonsoon, Pad Prik, spring rolls, and spicy Thai rice with pork - all with large portions that would satisfy the hungriest person. Overall, great food and service with a cozy Thai ambiance.

Since her name qualified for their special promotion, we received $25 off, which was an incredible deal. I ordered the lunch special, and upgraded to the Tom Kha soup which was fantastic. My entrée was the basil rice with chicken, which was delicious as well. My wife ordered the Blue Orchid Fried Rice and the Pad Thai, which was Tuesday's special for only $13. Thanks to the birthday name promotion, she was also able to get the Blue Orchid Fried Rice for just $5. The service was outstanding. Emma was fantastic--she explained everything clearly, was very patient, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We came early for lunch, and there were only a couple of other guests, but the restaurant filled up quickly. The manager, Shena, was also warm and welcoming. She stopped by our table to greet us as first-time customers, gave us a coupon for a future visit, and provided helpful information before we left. Great food, excellent service, and amazing value. We will definitely be back tomorrow for discount! With my name!

The restaurant itself is pretty, the servers are friendly, and the food is pretty good too! I will say, the spice level runs kind of hot. It goes from 1-4, and I do like a bit of spice, but level 3 was just starting to push it for me. Like it wasn't unbearable or anything, but it did make my nose water. So I would definitely go for level 2 if I'm just trying to have a chill meal. The panang curry and the phad see ew were both really good, but my favorite dish we got had to be the spring rolls. So light, so crispy, and the sauce was perfect.

There are stairs, but if you walk straight through to the host/hostess stand at Dorothy's, there is a small elevator available. The décor was nice and there was a decent amount of seating available, enough to accommodate our group of 10 and another large group at the table next to ours. It looked like people came here with their families for special occasions. There was only one person working to cover everything from seating, take out, serving, etc., and he did an amazing job of staying on top of everything. He even took the time to explain to me that they recently decided to make their entire menu (save for the fried items) gluten free due to many requests they'd received from their customers. It was so nice to eat at a place that was so considerate! Their menu is definitely more fusion than authentic. I asked the server for a recommendation and he told me his favorite is the Curry Fried Rice, but it was a big portion, so I opted for his second favorite, the Drunken Noodles. I asked about the spice levels and asked for mine to be more spicy. It wasn't as spicy as I hoped, so I asked for a spice tray and added several spoonfuls of various chili flakes and peppers. My colleagues got the yellow curry and said it was basically flavorless, but they liked their Drunken Noodles. I'm thankful to have the gluten free option, but I was missing the essence of the classic/authentic flavor. Overall, the décor, ambience, and service was great, but the food was just okay.

We snagged a table closer to the restroom, but it was an arm's length from the table to the left, and right of us. Basically was sitting right up next to strangers, but not a big deal. Service was slow. Took a while to get our drinks, and then have our order taken. Once they took the order the food came out within a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the seared tuna, tom yum soup, and the panang curry. All of which was a total disappointment. We've had better seared tuna, so it wasn't the worst, but we could have gone without that as an appetizer. The tom yum soup tasted off, no where near as good as other Thai restaurants in the Jacksonville area. There were also bits of ginger, and something else that should have been removed. Did not come with rice. I took some of the rice that came with my curry, and gave it to my wife. As far as my curry. It wasn't terrible, I'd say a 6/10 but they did not have an option for a combination of meats, or seafood, so I got chicken. The chicken strip was something you would expect to get from a fast food Chinese restaurant, and portion was laughable. We chatted with a couple people that said they come here sometimes weekly, and that they think the food is great. I'm sorry to say, but they are missing out on some great Thai food if this is their spot.
