You can see the paper towels next to the flowers for scale. At this price point, the scale simply didn't match expectations. I thought Dallas was supposed to be cheaper than California? In Orange County, for $200 I'd have a HUGE arrangement of flowers.

A friend of mine sent flowers from this place and they arrived looking old and wilted. I was on a call in another room when they arrived so picked them up about 4-5 minutes after they were delivered. The woman went on and on trying to convince me that she showed I had called them nine minutes after the flowers had been delivered. I explained to her that that was including the time it took me to bring them in take a picture, look at the card, etc, but it didn't matter - she was just absolutely convinced that the imaginary nine minutes in the sun caused all the problems. Ridiculous. (Even if they had been sitting nine minutes, which they were not, the porch is covered.) Anyway, she offered to bring a new delivery (not in a very nice way) and I accepted because I knew I needed to send a picture to my friend. If I had ordered them myself, I wouldn't have even bothered. The new delivery was slightly fresher, but it is now two days later and they are looking sad and tired, and I will probably need to toss them in the next day or two. (I already tossed a few stems tonight). I have AC on the entire time in my house. It is not the weather; it is just the quality of the product. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I certainly won't be ordering flowers from them.

It's quite refreshing to sit in air conditioning during the 9 month summer season in Texas. The have a menu where you can choose the "feel" of the arrangement, or you can select from your inventory in store and the florist takes it from there! I've done both ways - I've selected "light & airy" from the menu with a $30 limit and was delighted with the most beautiful arrangement with a white sunflower as a statement piece. I've also selected from their inventory my favorite flowers and they've gone from there by gathering complimentary greenery and other flowers. Every time I am beyond ecstatic with the result. She had told us that if someone else approached her for the same date, she would let us know there was competition, so we could reserve with a deposit. We were emailing every few days to work out budget and concept. At any point, she could have let us know that either she'd prefer to fix a deposit and then finalize concept, or that there was competition for the date. Normally, I wouldn't assume the date was held for me, but she set that expectation at our first meeting. I do appreciate that, as a small business owner, she can't always afford to wait. My only wish would have been for the communication to be clearer.
