First of all, this is my partner's favorite neighborhood sandwich spot, so you already know the bar was set high. We rolled in after our morning workout and the place was packed, which honestly just confirmed we were in the right place. The ladies at the counter were awesome. I asked a ton of questions, and they didn't rush me at all--they answered everything with patience and good vibes. They even ran out of my partner's favorite salad, but then replenished it and made sure we got the size we wanted. They literally caught us at checkout to hand it over. That's hospitality. The sandwiches have street names, which gives it that real small-community feel. I went with the marble pastrami and it hit the spot after a workout. We also grabbed some drinks--this place has a surprising amount of healthy options. Enough that we walked out with a few in hand and a mental list of more to try next time. You can order to go or eat inside, and honestly both are solid options. If you see an open seat, grab it quick. Bonus points: there's a flower shop connected to the deli, so of course I wandered over and picked up some beautiful flowers for her. Perfect way to end a great visit. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while- I swung by this afternoon, I had their BLT with a mini Coke and chips. It was phenomenal. The staff were all super nice and helpful. And they have a florist shop in the back- I walked back there and picked out this little plant for my office desk for $10. Truly had a good little time ! read more

I came in to desperately use the bathroom, which is understandably for paying customers only. The bathroom was clean and I wanted to hold up my end of the bargain by ordering an iced chai, the easiest drink a barista can make. Tell me why there were maybe three people in the place and yet all of us were sitting there waiting for over twenty minutes to have simple iced drinks made. There were two employees up front, one guy taking food orders when no one was ordering and one barista. I'm assuming the guy wasn't trained as a barista, otherwise he would have helped, but the girl making drinks reminded me of the sloth at the DMV in Zootopia. Maybe she was tired, but she had absolutely no sense of urgency. One gentleman was desperately trying to buy a bottle of water and get out and he ended up slamming a ten dollar bill on the counter before walking out. When I finally got my chai, it tasted more like a glass of milk than anything else. I didn't finish it. That being said, the shop itself is very cute, laid out nicely and has a lot of great options for lunch. I think if they got staff trained a little better, it could be a really cool place. read more

This is one of the best little deli sandwich shops you'll ever find. I've spent YEARS driving by and that came to a end a few weeks ago. This place creates some of the best eats you'll find at this price point. Each sandwich is freshly made and IMHO delish. When cooler weather arrives, I recommend sitting outside and people watch. Great place but make sure you're a dog friendly person. In the 20 minutes we were eating breakfast here, there were seven dogs that were either eating with people or entered the cafe. At one point I saw someone holding their dog over where they call people's food... kind of grossed me out. I'm guessing the owner loves dogs or encourages them in his cafe, we were just overwhelmed. Love Corner Market! It's a quaint cafe/ coffee shop with a down-to-earthy feel. There's a cute attached flower shop that sells small gifts, greeting cards and candles. It's never crowded and all employees are always wearing masks. I love this place for grab and go lunch or snacks. They make really good sandwiches and hot-pressed panini sandwiches and have more substantial food items such as meatloaf and cold & hot pastas. Their desserts are great and they make amazing cakes and have a whole refrigerator display full of chocolates and truffles. I love their stuffed crepes and had one with mushroom and goat cheese which was really good and not too filling/ heavy. They also have to-go sandwiches and wraps along with a great variety of canned/ bottled beverages. Their coffee items are great and they have a fancy espresso machine. I love this place when I don't have much time to spare but want high quality and reasonably priced food. Their service is always great with super friendly staff. Parking can be a little tricky but they have reserved parallel spots right outside the store that are usually open. Highly recommended! read more

Funny how I've driven by this place for years and never went in. That finally changed! It is an old style, quaint deli with a flower shop, gift shop, coffee/tea shop and a bakery added on. There is a more formal bakery connected to it, an Unrefined Bakery. Up on the roof is a garden but I didn't try to go up. I ordered a specialty sandwich called The Texan consisting of roast beef, bacon and aged cheddar. I also grabbed some type of a cinnamon cake slice as well, all to go. They had a dairy chiller with many types of drinks to include some I used to love as a kid. Prices were somewhat steeper than I anticipated and although my sandwich was good, I'm not sure if I would order it again. The cake was decent. They have quite a few sandwich offerings plus a lot of sides and salads. The case with baked sweet offerings was delicious looking but my bulging waistline kept me from ordering as I would have got 2 of each. There were cookies, tarts, cakes and truffles. Oh the trouble I get into with truffles! There are quite a few tables to eat there or just have a coffee and watch the world go by through the window. Parking was easy only because a space was opening up as I drove by and why I decided to stop. It was very busy and almost all there seemed to be regulars that enjoy the place. OMGoodness, this is a yummy sandwich shop! Our sandwiches were so "fresh" I almost had to slap mine in the face ;-) The freshly baked bread and high quality ingredients combine to make delicious sammies. I had the martel portobello and my hubby opted for the mcmillan roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were piled high with fillings on some of the best ciabatta I've ever had. The shop itself is adorable with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a full service coffee bar. The deli is directly connected to a flower shop and you can even walk through another door and find yourself in Unrefined Bakery for a gluten free treat. Seating is limited, but that just adds to the cozy ambiance. The deli also serves various salads and dessert treats. After eating, we looked around the flower shop. Besides lovely flowers and plants, they have beautiful items liked scented candles and soaps that would make great gifts. My next trip here will be for their weekend brunch - yup, they even have full breakfast every morning. On the weekends, they also offer waffles and biscuits - that's why I'll return on a weekend morning - loves me some waffles & biscuits! Oh & of course, staff well represents this place. Another spot on Greenville to eat and enjoy! When the weather is warm, it is the perfect place to eat outside while enjoying a cold sandwich or maybe a coffee drink. For the colder days, warm up with soup and a hot sandwich. The market also has drinks and sweets available for purchase as well as being connected to a cute flower shop with little knick knacks to buy. On the other end you can walk into a healthy bakery with options of cupcakes, cakes, cookies, muffins and even their own "Chex Mix" mix! You have a ton of options for this little market on the corner. My only feedback is the tomato soup we received was overly salty and made it hard to eat. If that is the normal recipe, I would not recommend it or make changes to it! read more

Out of the humble ingredients of turkey, green apple slices and swiss cheese sprouts a sandwich revolution. E pluribus unum, Corner Market, this is a true sandwich innovation. Ask for red onion if you really want to blow your mind. I drop my kids off at Sunday school, skip church myself, and stop in at Corner Market. I usually get one of the breakfast burritos. I know I should get the spinach egg white one, but I almost always succumb to the chorizo and egg temptation. I make myself feel better by splitting it with a friend, but considering the fact that it is bigger than your head, I'm really just fooling myself. But sometimes I'm okay with that. What a lovely little place for breakfast/lunch/brunch. Its a sandwich/bakery/prepared meals set up that you you would see in grocery stores, but on a much smaller and delicious scale. Walking in, I was drawn to the Huevos Racheros. They serve it like a giant slice of cake and microwave it for you if you want to eat in there. The most surprising factor of the meal was how moist it was. I would have figured it would need sour cream or salsa, but it did just fine by itself. Its definitely strong in the cheese, bean, and corn flavor. The veggies dont stand out as much as I would like, but its still a good meal. I would recommend you share this, since its a pretty big portion to begin with I had one of their club sandwiches, and it was OK.
