Unfortunately, they were sold out so I asked a person in the meat department if they would be getting any more in. He said maybe they could tell me in the front of the store. I went to the customer serbice desk and asked the person there. They said "Why would he send you up here? I don't know." and got the manager. The manager told me he didn't know and I should come back the next day or check on line. I went to the website on 10/30, ordered and paid for the product. I received a confirmation email. Later, I received a text with a link to check in when I arrived. I checked in when I arrived and waited. After 20 minutes with me being the only person waiting for someone to come out of the store, I called the number on the sign in front of me. The person I was speaking to knew nothing about my order. After a minute, she stated that my order had been cancelled and I should have been notified. I was not notified. Extremely disappointed with their service and process. New website or not, it was a horrible experience. My time is valuable, just like yours. System should not have been launched until fully tested for all contingencies. I doubt very much that I will do business at Hannaford stores going forward. Hopefully you will learn something from my experience and sort it out.

The store itself is clean, the shelves are kept stocked, and in general things are easy to find. My one issue is that the cashiers always have a poor attitude. I have worked in customer service and I completely understand that dealing with the general public is not fun, but faking a smile is just part of the job. Half the time, the "leads," or whatever they are called, are just standing around on their phones while the cashiers are swamped with long lines- which probably contributes to the unpleasant mood. Ultimately, I am still going to shop here due to its convenient location, but I always leave feeling like my presence is a bother.

I called BJs in Leominster to talk to Customer Service about the problem and let them know the insert said to call the manufacturer(in China), not the retailer. An awesome customer service rep named Katie told me to come on in and they'd take the missing parts from another box so my son could complete the assembly today. One think that I hate about this store and many other stores (non-BJs) is that they periodically move items/reorganize the store. So about 2 yrs ago I had asked my bestie about this place & she took me there. I was visiting her on Monday for the night so on my way home to my Mom's house on Tuesday I stopped in here to pick up some apple cider for my Mom's boyfriend & to grab some apple cider donut's for them, me & another best friend. I do find this store to be expensive but they have lots of things in here. Frozen foods, drinks, apples, premade meals in their refrigerated area, candy, snacks, jelly's, dips, desserts, produce (etc.) & a counter where you can get something made there to go or you can eat it there in a small seating area. The store is filled with all kinds of goodies and variety you'd expect in a good country store. I made myself not look around too much because I would have bought a lot. There drinks selection is a dream. I picked a Dr. Pepper tall boy. I ordered my sandwich then went to the front to pay for it while it was being prepared. There was an older man with a lady checking out before me. The cashier was engaging in conversation with the gentleman for a bit, it was lovely. It was real , again lol, country stores down vibes. I didn't mind waiting at all and rather enjoyed it. They have an apple orchard and pumpkins and many varieties of apples, cider, deli items, boba kits, wachamacallit and other harder to find candy bars, gourmet popcorn. So much more. Highly recommend this place.
